Nadis is a contemporary boutique hotel with 17 rooms, inspired by the picturesque alpine landscape and the rich heritage of Kashmir. Located on the foothills of the Zabarwan hills and at a short distance from the famous Mughal gardens, Nadis is family-run and welcomes travellers throughout the year. Overlooking snow-peaked mountains in winter that magically transform into lush green slopes in summer, Nadis offers guests a personal and unparalleled experience of Kashmir. All our rooms are centrally cooled for comfortable summer months and heated for warmth in the winter. Located just opposite the Harwan garden, we are in close proximity to a quaint village surrounded by natural tranquillity - tucked in a corner, away from the hustle and bustle, yet close to the idyllic scenes that the valley has to offer. The hotel is a gateway to the Dachigam wildlife sanctuary, perfect for wildlife and nature enthusiasts. This is also a beginning point for the Mahadev Mountain trek and other such interesting hikes. Immerse yourself in a silent walk on gentle slopes, by meandering streams and through verdant forests. Embark on a healing journey by soaking in the sounds, smells and sights of the virgin surroundings, all these secret trails have been explored personally and are accessible from Nadis. Our food is inspired by Kashmiri tradition. A culinary heritage which is about seasonality and availability; food cooked in the purest way. The home-style regional dishes are made from locally sourced produce and are simple and tasty with a fine balance of spice, colour and texture. Most of our vegetables and herbs are from our kitchen garden while most of our other ingredients are locally sourced. We try to keep it as organic as possible.

Nadis Hotel garners high praise for its attentive service, with guests frequently noting the staff's promptness and polite nature. The hotel's atmosphere is described as warm and culturally rich, with an inviting decor that includes a well-chosen book collection. Cleanliness is another strong suit, as visitors highlight the pristine condition of the rooms and gardens.
The spacious rooms, adorned with Kashmiri touches, offer both comfort and style, while the hotel's amenities, such as home-style meals, contribute to a serene retreat experience. However, service experiences occasionally influence guests' perceptions of the hotel's overall value.

Detailed Reviews
Stayed for 3 nights here. The rooms are pretty and cosy. The small munchies kept in the room are delightful. Their food is fresh, non greasy and gives you a feeling of home. Its a mix of Kashmiri, Indian and western/ Asian cuisine so you can take your pick. Since we visited in 'Sonth' their garden air was redolent with the lingering fragrance of roses, peonies, pansies and calla lilies. The entire property has several artefacts most of which appear to be the craftsmanship of skilled local artisans. They blend in and add to the charm of the place. Their book collection was the cherry on top of a very indulgent cake.
I remember Shaista and another smiling gentleman whose name I forget as the kind souls who are excellent at their jobs. Amara the GM is a knowledgeable and empathetic lady who personally visits each table at dinner and gives valuable suggestions. Amara's pet Choti deserves a mention for being a well trained, lovable pet who only demanded some back rubs in return.
Have a car at your disposal and enjoy Srinagar with Nadis!

This property is a little gem. Beautiful large rooms with a wonderful aroma of cedar wood and stunning views of snow capped peaks from my window in mid April !
The property owners, managers and staff were all so welcoming and caring and so happy to welcome us each day. Thank you Yasser, Altaf, Muzzafar you were all very kind through our stay including accommodating my wife’s food allergies.
The pretty garden in the property and the stunning mountains around made for a perfect afternoon reading spot. And the Buddhist monastery and Dachigam national park nearby gave us the opportunity to explore nature and history in a 15 minute walking radius.
All in all loved our stay. Loved the location. And wishing this team the very best as they build their business over the next few seasons. We will be back.

Nadis, the boutique hotel was an ideal resort with an exquisite and stunning location, a warm inviting ambience, all essential facilities, delicious and authentic Kashmiri cuisine and personalised, prompt, efficient and smiling service. It was truly a home away from home for the 5 days we spent there in September.
One of our party fell ill but we felt confident enough to leave her to be taken care of by the reassuring manager and her staff. Our confidence was not misplaced. We returned to find her cheerful and well looked after. The chef even made her a menu she felt like having!!!
An evening with live music was especially memorable as was Chotti thé in-house pet who kept us all happy.
The Dachigam National Park nearby added to the allure of this wonderful hotel.

If you’re looking for a place close to the city center, look no further! Nadis is a peaceful boutique hotel that offers amazing views of the surrounding Kashmiri mountains and greenery. The owner maintains the place with great care and attention to detail; our room came stocked with snacks and extra towels/blankets. The food is truly amazing and a great representation of Kashmiri cuisine. The best part: a golden retriever named Choti comes to greet you at the lobby! Highly highly recommend.

Stay at Nadis was definitely the best part of our time in Kashmir. Amara and her team were the most courteous and welcoming people trying to curate our experience as per our liking. When there, you can ask them about things to do and they will organise it for you at nominal cost.
The food was the best part. We chose to skip meal at some of the go to places in Srinagar in order to savour our meals at Nadis.

Nadis is like home away from home 🏠The place is approx 20-30 mins away from the main city which gives all the more reasons to choose this place. It's a beautiful place with greenery all around. All the staff members are very welcoming and the most geniune people you will come across in Kashmir. They organise small treks as well so if you are someone who is not looking for the luxury of a 5 star but looking to explore the real Kashmir, this is a place to stay! Would definitely recommend this place!!

I appreciate the design of the rooms, natural wood furniture, flooring, and ceiling. The Hotel also had a beautiful garden and view to the mountains. The staff are extremely. courteous and helpful. Shahib led me on a walk to ancient Buddhist sites; and Omar paid close attention to my needs when serving the meals in the beautiful restaurant.

The hotel is nestled in a quiet area of Srinagar away from the touristy rush and hustle. We stayed here for 3 days and had a great experience. The rooms were very clean, the staff was excellent and the food was TOO GOOD. All three days we chose to eat dinner at the hotel itself. They make home-style Kashmiri dishes that are lip-smacking.
They have a beautiful well-maintained garden with a wide range of flowers and mountains in the backdrop.
Would definitely recommend this to my friends and family <3

Staff was very helpful and polite. They a beautiful garden. The cuisine options although limited, kashmiri food is great. Their food portions sizing is a bit confusing, so you should check that in advance before ordering. The rooms are very well made but the washrooms have no exhaust making them stuffy and smelly. If you are visiting in summers, the air-conditioning might be a challenge. The location is a bit too far from the main markets and the Dal lake.

We loved our stay at Nadis and it seemed a home away from home with a stunning view. A cute boutique hotel away from the hustle bustle of the touristy part of the city.
Clean cute lovey rooms overlooking the garden and amazing mountains.
Special mention to Yasser who has painstakingly build this Into a home for travellers and takes care of you with a lot of love
The food is amazing and the people are super nice, you can’t go wrong with Nadis, whether it’s a quiet day playing Scrabble under the gaze of the mountains of hiking up a hill munching wild berries while being regaled with countless stories by Laal jee (a most wonderful human)
Stay to breathe in the air, tuck into great food and keep sipping the yummy Kahwa. Sit back and have great chats with Yasser and the other travellers
You won’t regret one bit of it. We will be back soon :)
