During check-in Rafiq (Local Kashmiri) demanded extra money. We spoke to the source through which booking was purchased they explained that no extra money to be paid as they have already spoken to the concerned person. We are not allocated room in the Houseboat that we actually booked as they were sold out so they arranged a room for us in a nearby houseboat which was stinky, unhygenic, no proper food, no maintainence. During Checkout again we were asked to pay extra payment. We again spoke to the source who further spoke to Hotelier and resolve the issue that no extra money to be paid. Rafiq, this guy will threat you that he is local there and can do anything.

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice. ❤️ My experience here was superb❤️i loved my stay here❤️i would like to prefer everyone this houseboat. The moment i crossed from shikara towards houseboat delaila , the shikara man started praising like you are going to experience the best boat etc ,I thought other wise but the moment i entered house boat it was like wow it seemed I was in Palace with so beautiful carving and big bedrooms and superb carved beds and on top the service was exclusive I felt pampered like Queen. the deck view is facing mountain famously mountain named as thrown of king solomon on top of shakerachari temple an mesmerising view all is perfect about stay location and hospitality Sterling has chosen best property in lot for its clients.
