Kashmir Mahal Resort is located near the Dal Lake and Nishat Garden. The hotel is well-furnished, and the food is good. The room and bathroom are clean and neat. Electric kettle and tea bags are available in rooms. However, there is no electricity from 7 AM to 7 PM which I think they purposefully disconnect to save power. Because there is no power during the day, the rooms are very cold. There is also no Wi-Fi connectivity in rooms. Wi-Fi connectivity is available only at the lounge and at a low speed. This is an average property in Srinagar within a walking distance from two main attractions (Dal Lake and Nishat Garden).
I had a good stay at this hotel. The rooms and washrooms were clean and tidy. The room was not very big but cozy and the ambience of the room was nice if you take the room on the top floor. The food was quite nice. The only thing which bugged me was the frequent power cuts in the hotel because of which even the hot water was not available in the morning sometimes. One thing I loved about this hotel is their hospitality. Every person was so helpful. This hotel is walking distance from the Nishat Bagh. So, overall my stay at this hotel was good and enjoyable.
Our stay was very comfortable there but onli issue we faced was of Internet n food …. It was less tasty may b cos of Ramzan or not no idea … all hotels in Kashmir need to have an upgrade of variety n taste of food
Hotel and Room services are good. Food served also tasty. Overall it's nice and calm place to stay. We can recommend Kashmir Mahal to friends and relatives. We checked in on 21st to 23rd April 2022. Checked in on 24th to 25th in House Boat arranged by them. Overall good place. Thank you 💛
The hotel is very centrally located and has a very good quality of food at the restaurant. The service overall was adequate however the service at the restaurant provided by Zahoor made our trip memorable. The only problem about this hotel is that there were frequent power outages...am not sure if it is all of Srinagar or only for this property but it made it very difficult for us to plan our activities around it. Zahoor at the restaurant is the reason we would recommend the hotel.
