Accept the location everything else is a complete let down. This should be the last option if you don't find another place to stay! Bathrooms are a complete disaster, basin used to get choked as we used to switch-on the tap. One side of the rooms face a wall when you look outside from the window, other side a garbage dump. Doors don't close properly. Find yourself lucky if there cable TV works.
We were 3 of us took a triple bed room this is a small hotel the rooms were clean importantly had good heaters and food was very decent compared to Sagar . The hotel is centrally located we could get an auto at 5AM to the starting point of yatra banaganga
My stay was only for a night but the room was full of damp smell and the hotel also lacks in basic amenities like electric kettle not working. Family rooms for 4 have only one toilet and corridor is also dark. Totally a nightmare experience. Please don't visit this hotel
Nice location. Very comfortable stay. Good food.View from the room was excellent especially at night.Keeping in mind the religious trek they are very adjusting. Mr. Manoj on the front desk was extremely helpful. Close to the bus stand as well as the market place. Small but good. Recommended. Will plan to stay here again whenever we come to Katra.
Spacious big rooms with a view of Holy mountains , one can see the ardkuwari temple from the rooms. service was pretty good and food we ordered was delicious. they do support early check in’s as per availibility friendly and supportive staff .
It's one of the decent stays in katra with ample amenities available in hotel. Staff is also co-operative and one can also get jain food during its stay. Do follow covid appropriate behavior and must follow local travel guidelines.
I have stayed in this hotel earlier and visited again. This is a very good hotel. Rooms are spacious and well furnished. The staff is very cooperative and helpful. We had a great stay and open to stay in this hotel again. Location is a big advantage.. market is very nearby. The price is on the budget side but the rooms are much better than what they charge. Due to Covid they have shut down the restaurant, therefore for breakfast, lunch and dinner one has to go out. There are many options available within 5 minute walk.
Hotel is located near the market. Nice location. Rooms are big but doors of bathroom was not working well. Staff is nice. Breakfast was also nice. This hotel is still under construction but we recommend all the people.
We stayed here while visiting Mata Vaishno Devi and found the property in perfect location - walking distance from Banganga (starting point of the pilgrimage) and good shops for food and shopping. The rooms are spacious and nice and we had a comfortable stay and quiet sleep. Ample water and toiletries are provided and replenished immediately on request. There are few things that weren’t good. Linen and quilt appeared used but when we complained they were promptly changed. The towel mat was dirty and there was no soap holder in the bathroom. Overall, good place to stay and if you find anything out of place, get it replaced. Feedback for hotel: Please don’t cut corners in cleaning the linen and towels etc. as guests are prepared to pay the price for quality. Also, include a hand towel in your bathroom toiletries.…
The ambience of Ganapati Hotel,Katra is really great. Rooms are excellent.I stayed in one of their Family Shrine view rooms which was really good in all respect. Its location is also prime. Everything is quite near to this hotel. Will surely stay again in future.
