Earlier I stayed at Imperial Hotel during Jan-2008 as part of group tour booking of Shimla & Mnanali by travel agent. Experience was owesome. In May-2019, I planned Manali tour with my family and was having some doubt as i planning almost after 11 years. But i booked it and experience was amazing. We got our room upgraded. Hotel Staff provided very prompt services and felt like my earlier experience. Food very tasty but little bit spicy. We have to go Gulaba and Madhi (near Rohtang) early morning at 6 am. , so on our request we recieved bread butter, jam, tea, coffee and milk served in our room. Overall very good experience in budgeted price and highly recommended for short trips (1-2 days) like us.

I stayed Imperial Palace, Alleo, Manali during my vacations on August . I was there for three days and three night. Location of hotel is very nice. Three sides of hotel covered by Apple trees. It was a season of apples and the scenery was amazing. The staffs were amazing, provided a high class treat for us. The restaurant provides south indian dishes as well, a plus point to the hotel. Only a draw back is, there is no wheel chair access.

I was told by Yatra Travels that the Imperial Palace is a 3* hotel, but the sad part was that the room provided to us, had hot water running only at some fixed time. Also, the bathrooms were pathetic attaching the photographs for reference. The room had a great view of the river. Staffs are friendly but I carried my luggage up and down 15 steps while doing check-in and check-out, we need to get their attention. if not requested room service fellows would just watch us and would not help us, proactively. The food was average, not bad. Management was trying to do the best with the facilities they have got, but I believe its high time for the hotel to get a facelift as the location of the hotel is awesome and if a better service is provided, no clue this would be one among the best hotels in Manali.

I booked a package via Yatra and they offered us the stay in this hotel. Overall hotel service staff and food was good, but they lack cleanliness. My room category was Super Delux and it was not in good condition at all, dirty floor, torn blankets, bath tub leakage,

I stayed in this hotel from 11 April till 14 April. The pros and cons of hotel are as follows Pros 1- Well behaved staffs 2- Good location and nice view from room I will suggest to take room no.304 for the best view 3- Quality of food is good. Cons 1- You have to climb quite a few stairs to reach reception and then if your room is on third floor then you will have a good workout in hotel itself 2- Frequent power cuts but they are of very low duration. 3- Also the rooms does not have AC may be due to manali weather but we found room getting hot during afternoon and fan was not of much help 4- currently renovation going on so if you are allergic to paint like me you will feel little discomfort due to paint smell Conclusion I liked the hotel as a whole. It is not a great hotel but a good hotel keeping in mind it's low cost room rent

Good unobstructed view of river Beas flowing below and mountains in front. Ideal for taking pictures. Hotel is built on vast space on the hills; rooms are spacious; hot water flows even from wash basin tap; neatness is seen and felt everywhere (floor, furniture, bed, mattress, bath towels, bathroom, toilet) Requires climbing of about 30 steps to reach reception or walking up over an inclined plane (route by which merchandise/groceries are brought to the hotel by cargo van); no lift inside the hotel; one has to walk up the stairs to the room which could be even on the 3rd floor (maximum). Situated 3 km from Mall Road (the shopping centre of Manali). One may have to wait for bus at an adjacent area called Aleo, or autorickshaw to go to Mall Road. Auto fare Rs.80 to Rs.100. Food quantity and variety in the restaurant just adequate; taste good.

I Went to Manali in 1st week of May. As per our package itinerary we suppose to get super deluxe rooms in Imperial Palace hotel at Manali. But when we reached hotel after 10hrs hectic journey, hotel management refused to give us rooms due to some other group extended there stay. And they asked us to move to their other third class property which was not even rated or reviews on any site. After long discussion for more than 2:30 hrs we agree to stay there for a night as every one was very tired. But we faced lots of issues there. On second day at Manali when we reach Imperial Palace after sightseeing, we talked to GM(Subhash Thakur) of that hotel. He rudely asked us to cancel our booking at that night when we refuses and argued on it, he shifted us to cottage rooms in another hotel. And on last day at Manali finally they provided rooms in Imperial Palace. Staff and management at was very rude. This incident spoiled our vacation.

In May 2016, a group of passengers including my family stayed in this hotel for 2 days. Hotel is neat and clean. It has a good restaurant also. Biggest issue with this hotel is the location. You will have to climb lot of stairs to reach the hotel. Very difficult, if the traveler is either old aged or having lot of heavy luggage. Parking is very limited. I am attaching some photos of the hotel. Two of the round were having faulty water heaters and the hotel staff were unable to solve it. Inmates were compelled to bring hot water from nearby rooms. Linens were clean but bathroom was just average. They provides soap, shampoo, moisturiser as complimentary.
