I stayed in this hotel after a two week long hike in Ladakh, so I would probably have been happy with anything that has a bed and hot water. The strongest point of this hotel is its location in the part of Old Manali that still houses local people, leading local lives (i.e. not specialised in selling bad quality clothes...

The location is near Manu temple, in old Manali. Away from the maddening and noisy city that sees traffic jam that tests your patience. The view from the rear balcony is breathtaking. You will see the snow capped mountains beyond the green orchards of Manali. The watering holes are walking distance. Classy ones. The place is quiet, nested in rural...

Nice Place to View the Whole Manali from Hotel. Food is Superb. Service is also Better. Locations and Surroundings are Extra Ordinary. Better Place to Stay in Old Manali. But is on Very High and far away from Mall Road.

This is a great place, a little hard to find and not on the main, club house road. (There is a small dirt path that takes you up a hill between Cnaan restaurant and Bee Knees restaurant. Follow it up the hill until you reach a public washing area and toilet, turn left and follow it up and turn left...

Many aspects of the hotel are appreciative, polite nature of the staff and caring personality, hotel is situated well within a village atmosphere, the chirping sounds of the birds in the early morning, and the scenic beauty of the nature with 3 strings of waterfalls visible in the front mountain. The hotel is just 5 min walk from famous Manu...

The Himalayan Country House is a wondefurl place to stay in Manali. To start, because it's nested in the old village, overlooking the modern town. Thus you get some countryside environment, and, what's more important, silence. All the staff, and the family running the House, are very nice, welcoming and helpfull. Rooms are ok, clean enough, large enough : perfect...
