This was the 5th time I visited Manali however this time was with my family. After my thorough search, I stopped and booked Baikunth Magnolia hotel which was bang on Circut house. The property is very beautiful and have excellent rooms. This was a leisure trip so we did not expect early and variety of choice for Breakfast but what
ever they offered was delicious. We stayed for 5days and completely enjoyed the trip. Staff is very friendly and cooperative in terms of early check-in and check-out.

I would definitely suggest and would like to stay again in this property in future.

In one of the busiest roads in Manali, is this quaint hotel. Traffic to the property can get chaotic. All roads lead to Old Manali. Stayed for one night.Staff were polite and very helpful. Dinner was also very good. Lots of space for children to run around and play.

Our plan to include Manali In our journey was a last moment decision. We reached Manali on a festive weekend (public holiday) and there was utter chaos, traffic jams; so many people on the road that there was no place to move. For someone who likes peace and calm, this was madness! Of course this was my first visit to Manali.

Baikunth Magnolia was a recommendation made by a gentleman we had met along our journey. So we took a chance. We stepped into Baikunth, and were greeted by the very polite and ever smiling manager, Mr. Raj Kandara. And luck on our side, he managed a room for us that night. The next few days were sold out.

We were offered a deluxe room. The room was done in good taste, was clean and comfortable. The room had a fire place, Atop the fire place was placed a beautiful bouquet of Lilies. It added beauty, colour and fragrance to the room. It smelled like spring, every time we walked in.
A relatively big bathroom, that was well maintained and equipped. The shower and changing areas were separate; there was enough room to store your suitcase too.
Adjoining the room was a lovely spacious balcony overlooking the front lawn. From the balcony, one could see the road too (though miraculously the place retained it’s tranquility), The reason for this probably being, the trees are planted strategically to give you the privacy you need.

Baikunth Magnolia, is walking distance from the mall and all the popular restaurants. Along the road (between Baikunth and the mall road), you are spoilt for choice for dining options. We choose John’s Café and were more than happy with our choice.
If you’re not in the mood to walk, you can get into an auto. These are also easily available.

Baikunth Magnolia also houses a basketball court for outdoor activities and an in house spa (with a green house effect), which was very tempting, I have to admit.
It has a beautiful outdoor area. A family staying here had spread out a sheet on the grass, while some were just lying there, others were reading and the children playing alongside.

The highlight for me, was the breakfast served out in the front lawn. We spent a well deserving morning, relaxing on the front lawns of Baikunth, amongst plum trees, fig trees, apricot trees, a large Magnolia tree, just to mention a few. Our breakfast was laid out on wooden tables alongside wooden benches. The breakfast was scrumptious and the morning serene. It was peaceful and green all around. Something I was looking forward to after a long journey. And now you know why I call Baikunth Magnolia an oasis in the middle of Manali madness!

We wished we had more days at Baikunth Magnolia. Some other time perhaps when we’re not rushed for time. We will be back to enjoy the warm hospitality offered by Raj and his team.

We stayed for 3 nights during peak season. Surprisingly the over filled Manali hasn't discovered this place as yet. The rooms were nice and cosy and had a nice little balcony to sit and see the mountains. Don't try to order anything from the menu as the rates are very high but they do welcome outside food and you can request for cutlery.
Raj was very friendly and the all the staff were very cordial and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place but preferably during off-season. Rates were high!

Planned a trip to Chandrataal lake from Chandigarh with an option to stay for 2 nights in Manali as we were suppose to do a same day road trip to chandrataal from manali. Hence, Choosing hotel in manali was not a top priority (as we have chandrataal on mind) but was completely awestruck when we reached at the hotel. Manager Mr. Raj called up in the morning to enquire my journey from Chandigarh and asked my preferences for lunch. Such is the level of hospitality. Hats off.
This is a 10-11 room property beautifully and tastefully built very near to the major tourist attraction of Manali (mall road and old manali) yet very peaceful. The rooms were very clean along with the restaurant and amazing sitting area in the lawn(had an English breakfast there). Superb set up
Food was delicious and special mention to their chef Mr. Basant. We were suppose to leave at around 5 am from hotel to chandrataal and was surprised to see our breakfast and lunch packed and placed in our taxi at 4.30 AM (they much have waken up at 3.30 am for this). Never ever seen such loving and caring attitude from anyone. Won my heart!!
Other staff Biru and Pawan were always smiling and very helpful. Kudos to the owners for having such a wonderful staff and property.
I must say a must say a very good yet less talked about property in Manali. one should definitely plan a trip here if visiting Manali (normally packed as no of rooms are less)
Thumbs Up!!

This was our fourth stay at the Baikunth and we loved it. The place is within town but gives a feeling of being away from the traffic and crowds because of the thick forest next to it and the green lawns. The rooms are well maintained and staff is friendly and helpful. However, the staff strength is low and was over-worked. Breakfast took much longer than expected as the place was full and only 3 waiters were serving. The same guys were doubling-up as Bell Boys and housekeeping staff. Atleast during peak season additional manpower should be employed. The food menu was limited and restricted to Indian cuisine as one of the Chefs was not there. Breakfast also did not have much variety. The food issue was a drastic change from our earlier visits. The side garden is in the same state as it was originally many years ago with no development or landscaping. Mr.Raj, the Manager, is on his toes the whole day and is very helpful. Full marks to him for deftly handling the resort and the guests.

It is undoubtedly one the best hotels of manali with grt staff, service and ofcourse homely food.
Had a grt time with family for 3 n/4d . It has big enough courtyard for kids to play which was covered with snow and was definitely an added advantage and fun for kids in the privacy of the premises. The rooms are done nicely and are definitely better than any other hotel of same star catagory. Only point where it lacks is that it does not have any centrally heated arrangement. Though the staff was courteous enough to provide comfort and ease by providing electric blankets, hot water bottles and room heaters. Last but not the least .....Raj who manges the property is worth mentioning because of his courteous and accomodating nature. Would definitely love to get back to this resort for another rejuvenating break.

The staff was extremely helpful, let be late night or early morning. Plenty of area for the kids to run around just lie in the sun. Had a grt birthday party for kids. Right in the heart of the manali so little bit of traffic noise in the front, but rooms more than make up for it. Possibly one of the best rooms in manali

Although located on the busy little road to Old Manali, Baikunth Magnolia ( as it was called earlier) is an oasis of peace and old world charm. A beautiful heritage property, it has been curated immaculately by the present owners (a very affable couple). The rooms provided you with a feel of royalty, courtesy the beautiful woodwork on the ceiling. Where I found the hotel to be a notch above other similar ones was the quality of toiletries- they were simply outstanding and far superior to some of the five star hotels I've stayed in. They are building another wing to the left of the property, which will house chalet style accomodation. However, I hope the owners retain the old bungalow and its pristine charm.
