Stay at cider was one of the best I had in recent times. The place has such homely vibes. And the view is just mesmerising. I stayed there for 9 days but still felt could stay back for some more days. Kids enjoyed their time at cider. It was difficult to convince them to move out for sight seeing everyday. They felt so comfortable staying at cider. The hosts were just the best one could ask for. I recommend this to everyone who wants to stay away from crowd and have a peaceful stay.

The place felt like home!! We were there for almost 12 days. We experienced everything that was around. The best thing is you can use the kitchenette and cook OR you can walk around and find few of the must visit places in Manali which is just near by the property. Their hospitality is so warm and affectionate, it almost felt like home. We went there for our workcation and it was pretty fun. We experienced sunny days, chilly days, rains and what not. It was a comfortable stay. The net and electricity acted a little weird on few days but we had our own wifi dongles so it was sorted. So make sure you do carry that with yourself in case of any emergencies. Overall, this property is a beautiful homestay, so quaint, far from the hustle bustle. We shot some amazing content around and in the property. You can check out mine on Instagram @simmmrann 🤍 Happy Travels Folks!! ✨

The Cider Himachal This is the place because of which the vacation which was supposed to be only for 7 days turned into Workation for 3 months! The Cider hotel is an exact place you crave for when you are bugged by the city's mundane life, rat race and want to get away where you get peace, nature and some kind of introspection! Cider is situated 10 kms North of Manali, in a small village called Burwa. It's secluded and away from the hustle bustle of the busy Old and New Manali. Here, the time you open your eyes in the morning after a peaceful sleep; you hear the sweet noise of birds chirping, river flowing, and waterfalls. You see the clouds flowing on the snow capped mountain tops, paragliders and everlasting snow. You inhale the fresh air all the time with the smell of fertile soil and the cow dung from the surrounding village; makes you feel as if the world is created just now! :) You witness the Gazanias blooming in the Sunlight and closing right in the evening when Sun sets! There are hundreds of roses of different colors blossoming every single day without much effort claiming that this is their home of purity, insanity and love. Someone has rightly composed, “Main shayar to nahi’. But the enchanted and breathtaking surroundings of this place has made me a poet. :) The Himachalies are so hardworking, full of life and all the time welcoming makes this place even more livable. Our kids made locals their friends and they played with sand, rocks, branches, with whatever mother Earth had to offer them. We stayed in a 2bhk apartment which is nicely equipped with good enough space for our family of four. Each room has amazing views of the snow capped mountains, apple orchards and beautiful meadows. The kitchen was good enough to enjoy my culinary experiments as well as normal cooking which was a must to cater the needs of my kids. The hall was a junction for all the fun, game nights for four of us. The 4G worked fine and we had busy Mon-Fri hackathons without much interruption. And the weekends we used to just start walking and let the path decide where it could take us! We climbed mountains, crossed rivers, did paragliding, ate Maggie near the waterfalls, got drenched in the rains and shopped till wee hours in the underground Tibetan market at the mall road and last but not the least shared the happy meals and music with the Hippies of the world at our favourite cafe Dylan's! The owners of The Cider, the team of Ps (Priya, Prashant and Prabha) are very helpful and knowledgeable souls who themselves are avid travelers and can help you go around the place and even help you set your itinerary in and around Himachal as well as Ladakh! This trip has been an eye opener for me and my family;- all the traveling doesn't need a lot of planning, our needs are so minimal and kids are the most flexible creatures in the world. All the mommies in the world just pack your bags and go, things would be just fine! :P However, what we are greedy about and going to treasure now more is nature, new life experiments and traveling! Go Manali! Cheers! #TheMehtasDiaries #loveformountains #workation #Manali #thecider #happybowlpune #travel #kidsfriendly #homestaysofindia #homestaysofhimalayas #dylan #dylanmanali #dylanscookies
