One of the best experience in terms of hospitality, food , ambience & location. The rooms are well appointed with hot water and centrally heated 24 x 7. Good value for money. The front office & house keeping staff ensured that all our needs are taken care. The kids also enjoyed the entrainment options like table tennis and pool.

The Orchid is a beautiful, well maintained property with very comfortable and modern interiors, located in a quiet place on Nagar Road a bit away from the busy streets of Manali, it is so comfortable that you would hardly want to leave the property. The rooms are lavish and the details of each room are luxurious and tasteful! You have beautiful locations at walking distance around it for nature lovers! Also, you open your eyes to a mesmerising picturesque view of magnificent snow-clad mountains! They have a great outdoor pool for when it’s sunny out and a cosy little fire pit with seating all around for those chilly nights. The service is great, each of their staff members would do their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible, they take great care of you and are very courteous! The food was OK at best as, quality was not a compromise but taste and variety are two things that do need to be looked into specially in their buffet. They offer very convenient on-site parking in the porch and a dedicated basement parking with convenient elevator access. They even offer dorms for drivers with food at a minor additional cost. An over all fantastic and very comfortable experience at a value for money price. Highly recommend this property and a special shout to Mr. Vikrant Thakur for being surprisingly omnipresent throughout the property, always on his toes and ensuring all the guests utmost comfort. I stayed with my wife and 2 daughters for 3 nights and we enjoyed our stay at The Orchid. The room was very spacious for 4 people and very elegant too. The stand-out was the fabulous view of the mountains from the window.
The traditional welcome made us feel special besides giving each of us a souvenir to carry back. All the staff I interacted with offered good customer service and I would make a special mention of Jagdeep Guleria (Manager) and Neeraj (front office). Rahul, who cleaned our room was also very courteous.
We didn't dine much at the restaurant but we were very satisfied with the food and the service on the 2 occasions we dined there.
The interiors (both in the common areas and in the rooms) are very tastefully done.
To conclude, I can't give you any reason why you shouldn't stay at The Orchid. I had a great experience.

Bad experience, don't go......we stayed there for 2 nights were not at all satisfied by service. In our plan we had unlimited breakfast and dinner but not even one day we had proper tasty food, worst quality of food,during our breakfast and dinner we had options of very limited food we didnot even have buffet during our dinner we had soup and then we had to wait for minimum 30 mins for starter or main course and even then the chapatis and rice were not hot and then also the food had no taste it was very very low quality food,it was not worth it. there was no room cleaning and no basic necessities like showergel and dental kit which is provided by every hotels, the management was worst, we are very disappointed.We won't visit and would highly recommend others not to visit

Staying in the hotel currently, have booked a package with breakfast and dinner. 1. not heating common areas even when more than 5 rooms are occupied. 2. No food provided for lunch. They gave holiday to chef without informing the guests. 3. No one answers the phone when you have queries for your booking. 4. Hot water is not hot enough. 5. Don't have big cars to support travelling site seeing for family of 5. 6. I am currently low on sugar in this hotel in freezing cold climate outside and eating packed chips and biscuits for lunch as the hotel is trying to cut costs on everything.
Don't stay here. Rather go to apple country resort if looking for pure veg resort or to branded hotels if kitchen is not an issue as this pure veg kitchen is useless when no one is willing to cook.
How can someone claim they are a 5-star hotel on website when they don't have hot water and food available 24x7?
Liars.
Only pro - hotel is new and rooms are good.

I recently stayed at a hotel that offered excellent room service and cleanliness. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure the room was spotless throughout my stay. The quality of the service and hygiene was truly commendable.

The Orchid Hotel, Manali receives accolades for its warm atmosphere and clean, Rooms that offer stunning views and a bevy of activities. The establishment is noted for its excellent value, with guests appreciating the reasonable food prices and comfortable features, Its prime location in Manali, away from city hustle bustle and array of amenities, Restaurants, are popular among guests. While the service is generally regarded as friendly and helpful, specially thanks Mr. Vishal he very polite and helpful
Stay. Staff is also supportive and professional with smile on face. Food is also good. For my kids, they enjoyed a lot in swimming pool.

Very Nice and memorable stay at this fantastic property. The Family room with 2 double beds was quite spacious and the in room amenities were simply top class. The view from the room of the valley was breathtaking - stuff you would see only in the dreams. The Hotel has an excellent restaurant serving delicious cuisines to savor every guest's taste buds. The housekeeping and restaurant staff are quite courteous as well as the front desk is very prompt. Would recommend this place for any one planning to stay in Manali - easily accessible from the Mall Road in Manali and well connected.

I stayed at the orchid manali with my friends for four nights, rooms are very comfortable and hygienic, the hospitality and service is top notch. Pihu warmly greeted us and welcomed us with himachali cap. It was my 4th trip to manali i always stayed in different hotel in Manali but this time i stayed in the orchid hotel Manali...such a sweet and beautiful hotel, view from the rooms is also amazing. We had stayed here for 2 nights and 3 days . But in terms of service , food , hospitality we were highly disappointed . Not in a single thing we were okay or we enjoyed staying here. In terms of rooms and it's services basic necessities were also not provided. Simple bathkit and towels were not be able to get daily . Food was so much down graded. We had unlimited dinner and breakfast in the bill and booking , but didn't get any starter also & food was highly poor in taste .No table services . All food was so cold and no taste . We lost our Money coz it was not at all worth it. Do not stay here , as services , food and stay is worst here.

Nope, no it's 11 degrees centigrade as of 16 April. you can enjoy snow near solang valley which is 12 km from our resort. In may it's pretty great weather around 20 to 25 degrees and Manali is flooded with tourists.
There are more places to choose from in the Manali area.
