We stayed at Sita Cottage for 3 days in the month of July 2017. I must say we made a good choice. We are usually on the hunt for pocket friendly accommodation as we believe there is no point in spending too much on lodging as our main purpose is sightseeing and not staying indoors. This is a small hotel. Looks more like a hostel. We had pre-booked the accommodation and arrived very late at 11:30 pm. The caretaker was cooperative and guided us to the place and once reached offered us water and extra bed at no extra cost. He provided a mattress and quilt which was enough for us. The place is roughly 3 kms from the main Manali town. Since we had bikes so we had no real problem with that. The breakfast was complimentary which was basic but good. We were served nice tea and coffee, parathas, poha, Upma and bread butter during our 3 days stay. The caretaker was kind enough and gave us tips about places to see. We paid just over one grand in Indian rupees for a day’s stay which is reasonable. We’ll stay here again if we visit Manali.…

Rooms are very neat and clean with an attached beautiful balcony. Locality wise the hotel is situated near Vashist temple. Quality of food is superb. Decent staff. Highly recommended for family or group.

First of all the view form the cottage is beautiful and the surroundings were nice. However we had really tough time climbing up and down as there is no lift. It is a 4 floor building without lift. The restaurant is on the ground floor and the food was not really bad.

Hotel is very nice in terms of Facilities, cleanliness and food with courteous staff. location is quite nice with a beautiful scenic view .loved the moutain view from the balcony , and was value for money as we took a stay for 4nights nd 3days .It was a nice ,decent and memorable stay ,food prices are very reasonable it taste like home made acc to our taste with a lovely presentation .overall i recommend this place for everyone to stay here in manali . Stayed there last weekend. Its a great value for money. Spacious rooms with balcony, hill view rooms and the property was well maintained with all basic amenities. Above all the staff was really helpful and co-operative. Highly recommended to all the visitors.

The rooms were clean and big with every facility. The hotel is well equipped with free internet, parking facility, friendly staff and the favourite one "Open air restaurant". As you can see the view of mountains from my room's window.

I went in the month of March , It was snowing very heavily . We enjoyed bonfire , food , rooms , balcony , view Everything . It was a home away home feeling and i will recommend it to other travellers as well. Will visit again.
