I have been visiting Chandigarh for work more often recently and have always chosen sunpark resort for its ambience, connectivity, services and the amenities they provide in their budget yet luxurious stay. Awesome place for stay if you are planning to stay in Chandigarh for work or planning a trip to Himachal. 1. Ambience The place has got an awesome ambience with the magnanimous view of the building upfront as you arrive. The aesthetics in the building and their nature theme grass walls are a sight that catches attention immediately. 2. Rooms. Fir the price they charge, their rooms are an absolute joy and refreshing, comfortable space with balcony providing pool view and city roads on either sides. All basic amenities are present in the room with lights giving a soothing ambience in the room. Hygeine and sanitation are well taken care of both in the room and bathroom. 3. Services. The staff is totally cordial and welcoming to include room service, restrau staff, front desk and housekeeping. They are very prompt and helping. Never faced a single problem in any demands placed to the staff irrespective of timings. They were more than understanding. 4. Amenities. The hotel is full of amenities provided to include swimming pool, restrau bar, spa services, in house dining, banquet hall, valet parking and taxi service assistance. 5. Location and connectivity The hotel is located right at the entrance of Chandigarh if you are travelling from Delhi onwards. You will reach here before encountering the traffic that you face while entering chandigarh. Specially for tourists planning for a Himachal vacation to kasauli, Shimla, Manali, dharamshala, mcleodganj or beyond, it's the best suited location for its vicinity to both, the tourist locations in Himachal as well as the best planned, city beautiful - Chandigarh. The cabs/auto for comute to both Chandigarh and Himachal are just a doorstep away from the hotel.
Overall i have had a really fun time staying at Sun Park Resort, Zirakhpur. I strongly recommend anyone planning to travel Chandigarh, Himachal and beyond. Must try. Have a great time.

SUN PARK Hotel is a very good affordable place to stay, Very good clean rooms I stayed in an Executive room pool side view … Reception staff did a very warm welcome , other staff was also very helpful and polite EVen gaurds are very polite. I had a flight yo catch next day so my stay was very shor. According to tariff they had maintained it it very good , ambience was very good. Restaurant is also very nice

I regret that I even share 1 star. Pathetic hotel and pathetic stay. In 5000 rs rent they don't provide you free breakfast, room heater is chargeable and hot water is only available for 30 mins in the morning. They are really confused about the booking as they booking was made directly on their website, they don't have the data. Corridor was congested and entrance like feels like dormitory. If you want to stay in chandigarh, avoid this hotel. It's a mess.

This is a very average hotel in terms of services .
Hot water not available regularly which is a must in winter season .
Front desk people needs to be more proactive and if we tell them our requirements then they should contact housekeeping and other departments especially in odd hours . Front desk executive at night was not proactive we asked him our requirements he told us plz call the respective department not sure why they were hesitant to contact their own staff .
Services need to improve .

The rooms were clean, spacious, comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond duty hours to help make our stay enjoyable and memorable.They were extremely accommodating and the sevices provided were exceptional in nature. I had a wonderful experience at the Hotel. Every staff member I encountered, from the reception to the cleaning staff were delightful, cheerful and eager to help! Specifically, I would like to mention efforts undertaken by Shri Vandana, Guest relation executive to make our stay peaceful and Adventurous. I wish her luck for bright future and would suggest hotel authority to promote such talent for the enhancement and nourishment of skills. We stayed at Sun Park Resort, Chandigarh on our way back from Manali, and I'm so glad we did. The rooms are nice, clean and pretty spacious. The bathroom is a tad bit on the older side. Maybe some small renovations are required here and there but overall it's still good. However the highlight of this place was their restaurant staff at Dawat. Such pleasing personalities and ever ready to serve you. Food was delicious, fresh and tasty. The staff also catered to our small requests during the breakfast and dinner buffets. Although the stay was short, we thoroughly enjoyed every bit of it.

During December 16 - 17 one of our guest "Mr.Alok Mishra" was staying in Sunpark Hotel Chandigarh. He reached at the hotel around at 10:30 P.M and asked the person at reception to provide food in Room since the restaurant is closed at that time. Remark was already provided to the hotel that the guest will arrive late as they are travelling from Dharamshala to Chandigarh. But the front office person told that we are not aware of the same and denied to provide food, after repeated request he provided food of a TDH Menu. Then after we called GM but the concerned pax disconnected the call and did't even revert back. Its okay there may be some communication gape between reception people. But one another that irritates they didn't provide basic amenities like toiletries, Towel in Room, despite of repeated request of Guest. We are working is hospitality industry which means entertainment of client and not harassing. Only room selling should not be our motto. The hotel management should train their staffs how to behave with guests.

I had very good experience in sunpark hotel. The staff was very cooperative and offered warm welcome. The hotel is very easily accessible as it is located on the Zirakpur Kalka Highway and very near to Paras Down Town Square Zirakpur. Enjoyed the stay.
