For what the hotel charges it is terrible. The hotel is dirty and needs updating. The breakfast is very limited. The staff fail to understand simple requests. There are much better hotels in Ahmedabad with less charges and better locality. The hotel booked us a taxi to airport, the taxi driver was grumpy and rude. We paid what was requested but the driver thought he was doing us a favour! Would never book this hotel again or recommend anyone else to book this either.

The Grand Bhagwati, Ahmedabad is located at prime location. Ambience is beautiful, with awesome reception area. Ample parking space. Rooms are spacious and clean, service is quick and staff is friendly and courteous. . There’s two restaurants( cafe piano and mr & mrs somani). We visited here on Friday morning and tried their breakfast buffet at Cafe Piano, decor is just amazing with cool and happening vibes. Food was freshly cooked, and very delicious. . They also have one more restaurant, Mr & Mrs. Somani, which was also very cozy and wonderful place.

We booked Memories Hall at TGB, Ahmedabad for a function - this was our second function there. Food was superb - service was very good. But the worst part is sales team. We paid entire money 3 days in advance and asked to arrange for sound a day before. Few hours before the function, I was informed that they can't arrange. I rushed and arranged on my own then I was told by TGB that I need to pay Rs. 5k as Royalty which I agreed but sales person Mr. Parth was so adamant that bluntly refused that my security will not allow your sound if you don't pay in advance. I repeatedly requested him but his denial made me to escalate and then only it was allowed with a condition that before I go to event I have complete the payment. Horrible experience. TGB is in bad financial shape and has lost much of it's prestige due to such people. But I still repeat that food was best and taste was always best…

The location of this hotel is excellent, the property itself is well made but now feels old, though the rooms & bathrooms are good, a proper maintenance would help this hotel retain its charm, the staff is decent, breakfast is good. Overall good but needs maintenance to make it excellent.

I must say wow really I have stayed in TGB hotel I have visit with my family, really it was cleanness hygiene in COVID-19🦠😷 situation they have maintain superb, to the hotel special I would like to give thank u Mr. Riyaz house keeping manager visit to my room personally and made room clean properly also excellent decoration with towel arts u made my day special. If location is of prime importance to you, choose this hotel. You do not have to drive through the city traffic. The hotel is ideally located and is spacious and clean. There is car parking, well appointed rooms and quick service. However, I would recommend you book the hotel through a hotel booking website. I happened to reach there and asked for a room and their rates were almost 2k higher than what a hotel booking site was offering. You might have to wait for a while at the time of checkin but otherwise, the hotel is value for money. The breakfast is average and you need to reach on time. Ideal for business trips and for those who want to get in and out of the city in no time. Ideal hotel when it comes to value for money, location and service.

We booked it for one of our foreign guest. He suggested to post this review as the booking was done on the name of company. I also visited him multiple times while he was here so I saw it inside out. The rooms are spacious, the location of hotel is very good, right on the S.G. highway and almost everything is approachable from here. Positives: 1. Money spent in making this place is visible. Its grand, yes. 2. Location is extremely good and its easy to find any kind of commute from here 3. Facilities and amenities are very good and like any other similarly starred hotel or better 4. Food is good and a decent variety is also available from various cuisines. 5. Staff is very good and courteous. Their immense training is apparent from how they converse and behave 6. Bathroom was good enough and with all the possible facilities. 7. Bed was ok, but since the party hall was just below this room, noise from the DJ was audible on one of the nights. But they closed it before midnight as promised. Negatives: 1. It's grand but its old and the age is visible, mostly due to lack of maintenance in common areas and at some places in the room. I normally don't give 5-star reviews. The hotel was clean and pleasing to see, Rooms were sufficiently spacious, clean, with working and responsive AC, hot water and clean toilets. Passably good main restaurant, and coffee shop. Breakfast spread included southern, northern Indian dishes as well as continental. Note that this is a vegetarian hotel. On the negative side, the staff need to be a bit more responsive and willing to help. Also, a work-chair at the table will help business travelers. Good vakue for the money.
