On the arrival of Novotel hotel we were greeted by front of the house Rohan he welcomed me and my son travelling to Ahmedabad he was friendly and a quick check in the hotel .
He did showed us an upgrade room on the 5th floor but the room we had on the 5th floor was ideal for me and my son.
The following morning we went down to have a breakfast in the restaurant we were greeted by Krishn who makes all sort of hot drinks he welcomed us with a smile on his face then we went to sit on the table and we got all different types of breakfast sections from English to Indian which was very tasty and hot.
The staff in the restaurant was all friendly and welcoming us every day while we were on vacation.
I would like to Thank all the staff to welcome us with a smile every day .
Cleaning the room was also very good
The staff in the housekeeping was always happy to help day and night.
I would recommend this hotel for business trips or social gatherings . Close to local shops with plenty to eat outside the hotel venue.

This is a good hotel. Its situated around 45 minutes from the airport. The bedroom was very comfortable and the shower was pretty good, there are times when the water is either not running as you would like or the pressure is very low.
It's a busy hotel, that only has one restaurant, which is very busy for breakfast. The staff are all very nice, although they couldn't understand that I wanted my ride back to the airport at 10am and 3 times booked it for 11:45am.
The room service menu is good and food usual arrives around 30 minutes after you order it. There is a swimming pool that I didn't use .
One big issue that I had was when you enter the lift and the branding signs from Accor/Novotel tell you about how wonderful Accor are with recycling and how they dont do this and dont do that - then you walk into your bedroom and there are 4 plastic bottles of complimentary water sitting there. All over reception there are the smallest plastic bottles for you to take. This is very nice, but please dont tell people you are recycling and then display masses of single use plastic. Why dont you change the water in the rooms for glass bottles - this would be a lot cheaper for you also.

Overall Verdict: My recent stay at Novotel Ahmedabad was unfortunately a disappointing experience, falling far short of expectations for a five-star hotel. While the location proved to be convenient, the outdated facilities and lack of attention to any detail by staff significantly impacted my stay.
a. Staff: The saving grace of this hotel was its staff. I'd particularly like to commend Amarpreet at The Square restaurant and Lovi for their courteous and excellent service . While the food was decent, the staff's genuine efforts to please were truly appreciated. However, some of the reception staff seemed unaware of the standards guests expect from a hotel of this standard.
b. Hotel: The hotel itself is in dire need of renovation and modernization. From worn-out rooms with visible marks and dated furnishings to torn key cards and malfunctioning telephones, it was evident that little investment has been made in maintaining the property. TVs don't even have proper HD clarity and seem 15 or more years old in appearance and output. This lack of upkeep created a sense of neglect and significantly detracted from the overall experience.
c. Location: The hotel's location is undoubtedly a strong point. Situated in a convenient area with easy access to transportation and nearby attractions, it provides a good base for exploring the city.

It was an average experience. I booked same as I was an Accor Gold member. First I requested to match Make my trip offer rif I booked directly at Accor membership site. Not great assistance .
Staff behavior can be more customer focused.
Steam bath timings start at 8.30 AM which should be improved so that business customers can avail same. No assistance in swimming pool area which opens at 6.00 AM. At dinner time, asked multiple times to give room nunber. No electricity at time of check in and had to come again to reception.
Room upgraded as per Accor Gold but size was small compared to similarly placed hotels in ADI.
Even after multiple reminders, not provided welcome amenity which is entitled to Accor Gold members. So overall an average stay. Can be much better

I had a superb stay at Novotel Ahmedabad! The food was delicious with great variety, and the staff was accommodating with flexible timings. Logistics, laundry, and even access to medicines were seamless, making my experience truly hassle-free. The dinner atmosphere was truly enhanced and made a treat by the sitar performance of Ustad Shahbaz Khan Ji.

The worst hotel in Ahmedabad and the worst hotel i have ever stayed in.
Bad experience started while i was about to take a shower, there was no shower gel in the bottle or even a soap. I used hair shampoo to take a bath.
When i went down for breakfast buffet at 8am, most of the tables/chairs were not cleaned. I was about to sit on one chair and realised it was filled with gunk and food. I changed my table, only to realise that all tables were dirty. Staff did not have any cloth to clean the tables, instead they just use the paper matts from the table itself to wipe off the food from the table.
Food at the buffet tasted terrible.
I tried the parathas, idli sambhar. Only the kachoris were nice.
I did not get the continental food as i noticed the guests on the other table complaining about it.
The staff at the buffet looked so dull and uninterested. I lost my apetite. I got the attention of one lady staff member who seemed to be overseeing the service to check with her why is the service so poor. While i spoke to her, she stood there with her hands folded throughout and just randomly told me that she has worked in Taj before. Even after i showed her the dirty chair. She did not get anyone to clean it.
Last straw was a pleated skirt that i gave for laundry. When i received the skirt, all the pleats were gone as someone ironed the whole skirt flat. This was my worst hotel experience ever. I have attached the photo of before and after of the skirt. I can never wear that skirt again.

One of the best business hotel in Ahmedabad located in the heart of the city . This hotel provides a wide range food in buffet . Staffs are very well trained rooms had a very nice highway view facing iscon temple rooms are very well cleaned and sanitized thanks to aniket and ram for taking care of us.

Our experience at Novotel Ahmedabad surpassed all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the vibrant atmosphere. The rooms were not only spacious but also impeccably maintained, reflecting the high standards synonymous with Accor. The lobby exuded energy, bustling with activity characteristic of Novotel properties.
For those seeking a drink, the convenience of the excise department liquor store on the 3rd floor was a delightful surprise, particularly for travelers accustomed to different regulations elsewhere. Additionally, smokers will appreciate the accommodation on the top floor, affording them both comfort and convenience.
We had the pleasure of visiting on Valentine's Day, and the restaurant was adorned with exquisite decorations, setting a truly enchanting atmosphere for the evening.
A truly memorable moment occurred when one of our companions, an American guest, inadvertently left his passport behind. Despite the urgency of the situation, the staff exemplified kindness and efficiency, promptly arranging for its delivery to the airport. Such exemplary service only reinforced our decision to make Novotel our go-to choice for future events in Ahmedabad.

Nice place to stay at a affordable price. Overall service was good. Aniket from housekeeping is doing wonderful job and also rooms were very cleaned and sanitized, furnitures were ap so well polished and maintained.

It's a centralized A/C, you need to call hotel and check for details of your requirements.
YEs , There are a few rooms where in Microwave and hot plates are available. You could call our team to know more or visit the hotel where in we could show you around those rooms.
Visitors are allowed, you will have to escort them from the lobby as the elevators require room card key to enable the floor (level) to which you want to go.

We recommend you to make the booking on double occupancy for your stay. Having a valid Govt. photo id / Passport is mandatory to stay at the hotel.
Our Master Suite rooms have Bath Tub facility.
