Somewhat walkable
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Hotel located on a crossroads, very noisy. Large rooms, normal cleaning, internal à la carte restaurant, unhelpful staff, perhaps not all of them speak English or with few European tourists they make it more difficult. Very close to the waterfront park which I recommend seeing for a walk.

Clean rooms, decent size rooms. Linen needs upgrades as they weren't the cleanest.
Good for a 1 night stay for a big group. Good location as well right next to the bridge.
The staff was courteous and helpful to select places around the hotel.
Don't go for the rooms on the 2nd floor as very loud music from the banquet hall when they have an event.

The location of this hotel is excellent. It is located in a quieter part of the city, yet close to the various landmarks like Jama Masjid, Manek Chowk, Sidi Sayyed mosque, Atal Bridge. The rooms are very comfortable. What stands out is the food which was delicious.

Stayed here for a day on my Dec 2022 trip to Ahmedabad.
The ONLY TWO POSITIVES of this property are the rooms and location.
1. Rooms are quite spacious with all modern amenities (though we were given one towel for a double occupancy). 2. Location is great, quite near to everything yet not in a crowded locality. 3. Food is ok. (Had breakfast twice and lunch once)
Things we did not like: 1. Attitude of the personnel at the reception the moment we checked-in was not welcoming. Too arrogant, rude and not fit for being in a service industry. 2. Service is delayed and not up to the mark.
I think they do not give importance to people staying in hotel as loads of banqueting activities were going on, with noise all around.
At the rooms rates, we would prefer to stay in other properties that AHD has to offer.

While trying to make a reservation i spoke to one- Mr Mohsin Mansuri who is at the reception desk. I had already read the previous reviews wherein it was mentioned to be cautious of this filthy guy, and it turned out to be absolutely true. He is on record (have the conversation recorded) asking me whether i am “officially married or am unofficially married” just on a telephonic conversation without even a slight bit of hesitation. This kind of absolute trash talk just on telephone warrants everyone to be extra careful while interacting with this filthy person who is at the desk of this hotel.

Nice property in Ahmedabad with neat rooms and service. Food served in the in-house restaurant is very good in taste and buffet breakfast has decent spread. Just a note to people booking this property via online sites, this hotel has only 1 room of a particular type in a floor. So incase you are booking 2 deluxe rooms, you will not have it on the same floor unless you are ready to upgrade. It would be better to check with the hotel before confirming the booking. We were not aware of this setup so we had a bit of a tussle with the hotel's front desk but later was resolved mutually.

Artilla inn is very ideally located. It is very close to the main shopping centres and riverfront. The rooms are big in size but the furniture are oddly positioned and take up a lot of space. Our rooms were lacking in maintenance. Food is average. Service is average, our room was not cleaned even when we requested. We had to bring our bags down ourselves as no one from house keeping came. Would recommend the place for location alone.

I booked this hotel for my parents , room was nice & spacious and clean . Hotel location is good . Hotel management is supportive , they arranged early breakfast at 7:30 AM on my parents request . Only issue was bedding was a bit hard so sleep quality was not good.

We stayed 1 night on Feb 15. Hotel is only 4 months old. Rooms are fairly large & sufficient for 2 people. Breakfast was included & has a good variety.
I forgot my Apple iPods in the room & didn’t even realize it. The hotel called & informed me of it & asked me to pick it up from the reception. iPods are expensive & I was pleasantly surprised to get them back proactively.
Thanks to hotel management for running an ethical business that reaches down to all the workers.

Worst Hotel. This hotel is one of the worst one....Staff are terrible. Staff is very rude and unprofessional specially the front desk guys, they act as they own the hotel and they are the management. Rooms are of worst quality, unclean and unhygienic. Checked multiple rooms all dirty and the staff don't care even in such pandemic times. If you complaint they have a recorded answer "agar room pasand nahi then we can get you a cab and you can book other hotel". Nit worth the money nor even your time to look at it. Skip and move look for something better.
