I came across this hotel while on my last visit to Goa, had decided then to book it for the next time. Hence on this trip i booked it right away. The location of the hotel is quite good, everything is on a approachable distance such as Calangute beach, Candolim Beach, Newtons supermarket, wine shops, Vegator is 30 minutes drive.
We stayed here for 5 nights, let me tell you this the hospitality offered was amazing. The staff was very cordial and enthusiast about fullfilling any of are requests. Rooms were beautiful but due to covid, they are now cleaned every third day. Guests could also request for light cleaning on daily basis for the room.
The hotel took different measures such as daily sanitisation, sanitized sealed cutlery, sanitiser dispensers to make the property safe for the guests.
In the restraunt, the breakfast buffet had a lavish menu while the dinner buffet menu was a bit smaller. We met Mr.Rajesh Nayak,F&B manager who was very happy to help us in improving our dinner experience. He made sure to get us dishes which were not even on the menu. He kept inquiring about our food preferences and got us the food prepared as per the North Indian taste.
Overall our stay was good accompanied by the good hospitality and courteous nature of the hotel staff such as Rajesh Nayak and various other. Also the security guard Mr.Anuj was very helpful in arranging rental vehicle for us.

In this pandemic taking an holiday was seeming so stressful and Risky ,it was al put at bay once we entered the hotel..
The checkin was so quick and contactless..The rooms were sanitized and sealed broken wen yu enter.. All amenities left on a table outside room so as to minimize the covid risk.. The location is so close to beach.. baga and calangute all within 5kms.. The best part about the hotel is the resta staff and manager Mr tehzab.. Lunch and dinner buffet was not too vast bt every single item on it would be simply yummy..Its really rare to nail every dish in buffet even the salads were not jus there bt exquisite like roast pumkin salad etc.. Tbe desserts wld be 2:3 each time like filo caramelMd daal k halwa etc wld be mindblowing.. Any variation or extra dish not on menu-they gt yu covered.. The security at gate was also so polite and warm.. Everyone would greet with smile and ready to make it happen fr you..The waffles were that extra crispy pancakes fluffy light.. The list is endless..
The Reception staff was a bit laydown.. Room upgrade-NO..When asked flr higher floor rooms they said not functional yet bt we saw people at balcony on higher floors within same hour..I wanted a room with bathtub amd when asked was said its all under maintenance bt after an hour we received a call to avail one with extra fees.. When asked about car rental contact , we were tld on road yu may find locals to help yu with.. These was all by a lady receptionist (only one lady staff i saw at reception al 3 days) .. I just feel she wld give these vague answers to jus close the matter..
Mr tezab saha also wld personally meet every guest at every meal..He also suggested so many good local spots for us to explore.. Whenever i visit goa i hve to stay here just for the food location and aboveall the staff here..

Nice location, Good ambience and rooms, but very poor in service
I order scissor for just a min to cut plastic tie via my room phone on reception, they said they are sending someone right away and I waited for 15
Mins And then in next one hour I literally called them 3 times and they responded same thing but nobody came.
Then After some time I order 2 drinks, nobody was there on my door step till 20 mins I called them again to give reminder and also requested to send scissor or knife along with drinks, and nobody came for next 15 mins.
Now I felt SO INSULTED
I called shift manager and she arranged everything in just 5 mins which clearly shows that they were not shorthanded but the staff where not doing their job properly.

This time while going to Goa, we were contemplating as to where to stay. As there are so many options, it is rather difficult to choose from. After much deliberation, we decided to stay and experience at Hyatt Centric, Candolim. To begin with, the property is beautiful with the swimming pool view room and garden view room. We have taken the swimming pool view room which is very spacious and can easily accommodate 3 people. The 3rd person can sleep on the bed that comes out of the sofa cum bed. I must say that this sofa cum bed is extremely comfortable. Only the structure comes out of the sofa, the rest of the bedding and mattress is then separately put over and a very comfortable and spacious bed is ready. The staff at housekeeping was very efficient and we could get our necessary requirements on time. To talk about the breakfast, the layout during the pandemic is extremely well thought of. There are no touch points where you need to touch and pick the food. At all counters, there are glass coverings and only the hotel staff serves you. This gives you a sense of safety at the breakfast buffet. The overall quality and taste of the breakfast is excellent. Some of the must haves are the avocado toast with / without egg, Ragi Dosa, Samosa chat, Ragda pattice, Idlis, Ragi Idlis, Ros Omlette and vermicelli Upma. I must thank the chef, Mr. Pravin Pandey who took great care of us. He was always asking us as to what is that we would like to have. As we were on a road trip, he also gave us freshly packed food for our journey. Also, Mr. Rajesh who is in charge of the banquet but currently overlooking the operations at the restaurant has been generous and courteous to take care of us during our stay. The food that you must order for in room dining are dal makhani, chicken biryani and mutton nalli nihari. The food that we had at the restaurant were the Richardo Fish and chicken Pizza. The cocktails ashwem and candolim are must haves. Please do not miss it. Sanitizers are kept at all touch points, so no need to worry. Also, the shower in the bathroom is very relaxing. All in all a very relaxing stay and we felt cared for during our stay with Hyatt. We are extremely thankful to all the staffs at Hyatt Centric, Candolim

Stayed between 16th and 20th Dec., 2020. Here's my review:
Check-in experience was good. They screen luggage, take temperature readings and ensure that people sanitize they hands. Entire staff wears masks, gloves and face shield and they maintain proper distance from guests.
Room was really nice. Didn't find any issues in the room. The staff is extremely nice and cordial.
Staff that made our stay wonderful: Vishal, Jayanth, Naveen, Nirmal and Srijan from F&B, Deepak from Housekeeping, Brij and his team (Security).
Food itself was just about ok. It's fine, cannot find many faults as such, but it's not mind blowing either. Vishal being the F&B manager, ensured that this would be communicated to the chef. Buffet options are decent. Luckily, owing to Covid, they help serve the food instead of letting people serve themselves (my fellow Indians, please note that it's disgusting to touch the serving cutlery with the same hand that you use for eating; nobody wants to sample your saliva even during non-covid times).
Housekeeping was quick when I specifically asked for liquid handwash. They don't have this by default in rooms, but they provided this on request. During these times, and even in general, it would probably be a good idea to provide this by default in all rooms.
There was one incident where there were next door neighbors playing tasteless loud music around 12:30 in the night. I called reception and complained about this. They sent someone from security immediately and it was quickly dealt with. Full marks to that.
Faced a parking problem. I was asked to park my motorcycle behind a pillar, and when I came back to it during check-out, there were two big cars parked next to it on either side. It took an inordinate amount of time to figure out who the cars belonged to, and ask them to take one of them out in order for me to take out my motorcycle. In all, we lost around 45 minutes in this exercise during checkout. This needs to be taken care of.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Note to hotel: Please ensure that all guests wear masks all the time when they are out of their rooms.

Luckily, owing to Covid, they help serve the food instead of letting people serve themselves (my fellow Indians, please note that it's disgusting to touch the serving cutlery with the same hand that you use for eating; nobody wants to sample your saliva even during non-covid times).
Housekeeping was quick when I specifically asked for liquid handwash. They don't have this by default in rooms, but they provided this on request. During these times, and even in general, it would probably be a good idea to provide this by default in all rooms.
There was one incident where there were next door neighbors playing tasteless loud music around 12:30 in the night. I called reception and complained about this. They sent someone from security immediately and it was quickly dealt with. Full marks to that.
Faced a parking problem. I was asked to park my motorcycle behind a pillar, and when I came back to it during check-out, there were two big cars parked next to it on either side. It took an inordinate amount of time to figure out who the cars belonged to, and ask them to take one of them out in order for me to take out my motorcycle. In all, we lost around 45 minutes in this exercise during checkout. This needs to be taken care of.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Note to hotel: Please ensure that all guests wear masks all the time when they are out of their rooms.

Literally needed a quick break from everyday, so decided to drive down from Porvorim and made Hyatt Centric my home for 2 days.
N must say enjoyed it to the T,
After booking the rooms (2) spoke with Kane and requested for a early check in which he honored for 1 room, however when we arrived I got both rooms.
Check in was smooth and quickly done by Navdeep who explained the services and maintained covid protocol.
Our rooms were in the 3rd series (336 and 335) rooms were clean and again covid protocol was followed, for me the view is not a priority its the cleaniness and state of room that matters and so was not disappointed.
We had our major meals at GROK and it was a treat trying different items from the menu even though from Goa tried the goan fish curry rice and grilled fish and must say the taste of the curry was as if made in a goan home it was delicious
Thank you chefs for the yumms.
Rohan and Zoey were a delight and not only reccomended must have's but looked after us really well.
I dint use the Housekeeping services at all for my room because I am a tidy my own room kinda guy however my mum room was serviced well, every little request for usable or bottled water was met with a smile and that smile was of Deepak.
Wendy and Samaresh at the Front desk were super and always happy to help with my queries and requests.
Being in the Hospitality industry my self I am always critical about services and guest satisfaction and must say personally I enjoyed every bit of service Hyatt centric had to offer, even during these stressful times with masks on I could see smiles on every Associates face when they greeted/Spoke with us.
Just 1 point to work on, in the early hours of morning sometimes when the corridors are being mopped the mop/handle bangs on the walls or the trolley sounds can be a disturbance which I am sure you have taken constructively and will fix.
I have mentioned the few names above whom we interacted with but I know its more than just them, it takes a team effort to make a stay stress free and a breeze so thank you all for a delightful stay and will deff be back soon.

Second stay at this property, only because our first experience staying here was FABULOUS! Post the pandemic, we as a family needed a break, taking into consideration the necessary precautions taken by a hotel with regards to the Covid-19 protocols in terms of safety, they were absolutely spot on!
QR codes, sanitizer stations in the common areas, frequent cleaning by the housekeeping team, contactless check in procedure, cutlery kits at the restaurant and finally the entire hospitality team in masks.
All the necessary protocols in place, and carried out. So be rest assured with regards to this.

I stayed at this place in July 21. The location of this hotel is in middle of City, with few beaches at a walking distance.
The rooms are clean, cozy, decent size, well maintained and sanitized. Sanitizers are installed in common places at regular intervals. The housekeeping staff (specially Noor) is polite, quick and anytime available for help.
Coming to the food - I cant imagine a better variety for bfast. They have so many delicacies to offer. They even serve fresh juice(not canned) along with few others drinks. The staff at restaurant is warm and always have a smile on their face. Special thanks to Rajesh who is always on toes and make sure everything is available to the guest. He is ready to go out of the way to make guests feel happy and comfortable. I cant finish this note w/o thanking Shivani, Pankaj and Rabada.
Two things as per me that can be improved are 1. Can add more Indian sweets in lunch/dinner buffet. 2. During monsoon, guests spend much time in property, so there is need to seriously work on recreational area. It is very basic. Hotel mgmt can think of adding pool, air hockey and few other games as well.

I approached Hyatt Centric Candolim Goa with a requirement for hosting my company event with them. Right from negotiations with them leading up to the actual event was a supportive and stress free experience.
Austin Fernandes their Senior Sales Manager was very accommodative about my ideas and wants and catered to every need.
They arranged for a show around, assisted in chosing the right dishes, colour themes, even suggested their own ideas as per their expertise.
They added me to a whatsapp group on the day of the event so as to be on the same page with everything and were very responsive and helpful to any requests on the spot as well.
The staff and area was well maintained keeping in mind all necessary covid safety guidelines without compromising on service and quality and Rajesh Kumar their Asst. Manager of Banquets and Manjunath Kamble their events coordinator made sure everything went smoothly and as requested.
Would definitely recommend the Hyatt Centric Candolim Goa to anyone who wants to have a stress free and perfect function.
