The choice is yours to be pampered in the elegant luxury of Aashyana Lakhanpal, the fully staffed 5 bedroom villa with private pool, or reside in style at one or more of the three self contained two bedroom Casinhas - each complete with an individual, private garden and shared pool. Villa Venus, the 3 bedroom self contained independent property with private pool, offers the perfect opportunity to 'get-away-from-it-all' in a traditional Portuguese villa, circa 1830, lovingly restored to retain an authentic feel.

We stayed at the 5 bedroom villa during Covid times and the property seemed more like a run down guest house rather than a luxury villa resort. The photographs & manager while technically correct, over promise. The best thing about the place is its location, its bang on a beautiful stretch of beach with a great sit-out and during Covid times the beach was mostly empty. The 5 bedroom villa has the main kitchen as part of the building so there are staff members roaming all the time and no privacy. Also the rooms are all separate and spread out so it felt like we had taken 3 separate rooms rather than a villa, besides being dusty and run down. The bathroom was dirty, with cracked tiles and the whole place lacks maintenance. The staff, manager, food and the whole place is well intentioned but really not worth the price. Covid protocols while there, hygiene and mask etiquettes are hit & miss. Due to great Beach location it rates an average and not poor.

Delightful property with an equally disillusioned staff. High end pricing with a completely compromised value. Not sure if it was due to a change in ownership , covid-19 or just down to Goan indolence but while the property is stunning the maintenance and service were dreadful. Dirty, cobweb ridden , hot water issues, grime in the pool , pool bathroom that was unusable , lights not working , poor Wi-Fi and a myriad other issues leaving you disheartened as at this rate a first class property will rapidly sink in stature and is already deteriorating . The service was the biggest pain point , littered with staff who were unenthusiastic, passive , apathetic and generally unhelpful , they failed us miserably . The chef ( not sure if he is one ) was particular useless shirking any attempt at hospitality or service . All in all the staff avoided us masterfully and when apprehended served grudgingly. Never received the value we expected. Ashiana has work to do,

We stayed at the Villa Venus in Aashyana Lakhanpal for four nights. We were three couples who were visiting Goa to unwind and have good food.Villa Venus was perfect for doing just that.Set in the winding lanes of Candolim, walking distance from its market is Villa Venus. It has three bedrooms and has a lot of tropical plants and greenery. The interiors are comfortable and attractive with large rooms and high ceilings made of wood. Its the ideal place to just relax and rewind. They have even thoughtfully provided books and magazines to read. The staff of Aashyana Lakhanpal are all extremely courteous, friendly and cooperative.I would like to specially mention Matilda,Sunil and Vineet who took care of our needs. The chef Rajesh is superb and asks for your preferences so that he can make the dishes accordingly.I would rate the meals we had at the Villa among the best we had in Goa. Utkarsh also was very helpful. The staff arrange for the pick up and drop to the airport and also cars for local use.The beach is a five minute walk away and is clean and lovely. All in all we had a wonderful stay and I would strongly recommend it.The only thing that was disappointing was the wifi connection. This was a holiday which will linger long in our memory.

In forty years this is the first rip off I have had from lonely planet . It was in the GOA edition. The resort was made out to be something unique, sure was. Delapedated and deserted , no service absolutely nothing at all, god help you if you needed to eat anything after 10. 00 am, until 8.00 am next morning.the publicity was completely misguiding. Be advised
