We stayed at the Villa Venus in Aashyana Lakhanpal for four nights. We were three couples who were visiting Goa to unwind and have good food.Villa Venus was perfect for doing just that.Set in the winding lanes of Candolim, walking distance from its market is Villa Venus. It has three bedrooms and has a lot of tropical plants and greenery. The interiors are comfortable and attractive with large rooms and high ceilings made of wood. Its the ideal place to just relax and rewind. They have even thoughtfully provided books and magazines to read. The staff of Aashyana Lakhanpal are all extremely courteous, friendly and cooperative.I would like to specially mention Matilda,Sunil and Vineet who took care of our needs. The chef Rajesh is superb and asks for your preferences so that he can make the dishes accordingly.I would rate the meals we had at the Villa among the best we had in Goa. Utkarsh also was very helpful. The staff arrange for the pick up and drop to the airport and also cars for local use.The beach is a five minute walk away and is clean and lovely. All in all we had a wonderful stay and I would strongly recommend it.The only thing that was disappointing was the wifi connection. This was a holiday which will linger long in our memory.

We chose this place located in central Goa as per recommendation from a friend. Not knowing what to expect, we were completely blown away by the property. This resort sits a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of Goa to create a lovely serene setting to enjoy nature and the sea.
We stayed in the Gemini rooms, two adjacent rooms with a shared porch. The beds are incredibly spacious. We saw so many beautiful plants, birds and other wildlife just from the rooms.
The beaches are private access with a couple entry points. We loved the fact that there were no crowds so we had our pick of space. The sea is the cleanest body of water we’ve ever experienced. No trash or big rocks to be found. It is possible to walk pretty far in either direction without leaving the sand. The shoreline also provided beautiful views of the sunset every day.
There are plenty of shopping opportunities a short walk outside the property, but we didn’t need to leave with all the amenities. Meals are available on demand every day (order in the morning so the staff have time to grocery shop) and are served straight to the rooms. The staff are so friendly and very accommodating.
There is a meditation/yoga center, outdoor temple, scenic walking space, and a couple in-ground swimming pools on the property. We loved the surrounding space in addition to the shoreline. This resort has taken great care to keep as much nature in place as possible while still providing stellar service.
Highly recommend this spot for those looking to get away from their busy lives for a bit.

A rare gem in north Goa with sprawling land, lovely cottages and a main bungalow. Two great pools and private pathway to the beach.
The breakfast was basic but tasty and home made. What we needed for a long day on the road after.

The beach outside is beautiful in monsoon when we first visited but having been back in season it is packed with beach shacks selling you trinkets and massages and beers. Great if you want that, but it's not a quiet beach as it's in the heart of one of the busiest areas.
Stay here if you want the peace and quiet when at the hotel, but also want to enjoy the clubs and pubs the area has to offer. Take the whole property if you have a big group as you get access to all the pools and areas of the property.

On a side note:
It's a bit rustic but very clean and comfortable. The beds could have been a bit softer but we slept fine.
Good fridge size to stock your own beers.
Pousada that has great food is a short walk away

We stayed at the 5 bedroom villa during Covid times and the property seemed more like a run down guest house rather than a luxury villa resort. The photographs & manager while technically correct, over promise. The best thing about the place is its location, its bang on a beautiful stretch of beach with a great sit-out and during Covid times the beach was mostly empty. The 5 bedroom villa has the main kitchen as part of the building so there are staff members roaming all the time and no privacy. Also the rooms are all separate and spread out so it felt like we had taken 3 separate rooms rather than a villa, besides being dusty and run down. The bathroom was dirty, with cracked tiles and the whole place lacks maintenance. The staff, manager, food and the whole place is well intentioned but really not worth the price. Covid protocols while there, hygiene and mask etiquettes are hit & miss. Due to great Beach location it rates an average and not poor.

Delightful property with an equally disillusioned staff. High end pricing with a completely compromised value. Not sure if it was due to a change in ownership , covid-19 or just down to Goan indolence but while the property is stunning the maintenance and service were dreadful. Dirty, cobweb ridden , hot water issues, grime in the pool , pool bathroom that was unusable , lights not working , poor Wi-Fi and a myriad other issues leaving you disheartened as at this rate a first class property will rapidly sink in stature and is already deteriorating .

The service was the biggest pain point , littered with staff who were unenthusiastic, passive , apathetic and generally unhelpful , they failed us miserably . The chef ( not sure if he is one ) was particular useless shirking any attempt at hospitality or service . All in all the staff avoided us masterfully and when apprehended served grudgingly.

Never received the value we expected. Ashiana has work to do,

I keep coming back to Aashyana. Right when you tend to accept the hustle bustle of Candolim area as the new normal, a few turns and the lazy languid lanes usher you into an absolutely delightful piece of peaceful haven called Aashyana Lakhanpal. The place exudes character charm and service that is warm yet unobtrusive and there when you need them. Pradeep ji is a sweetheart at work. The gardens, the villa, the pools the vegetation and the beach all come together in a poetic, breezy fashion to make you ache for more as you head back, only to come back and fall for it all over again! Stunning property, amazing hospitality, and amazing service.

We stayed in the Capricorn two bed villa over New Years this year.
The property is located in the nicest part of candolim and on the beach. Access to the beach is from within the property. A very peaceful relaxing place. The villa was very spacious and nice. The staff are super friendly and very always available 24/7. The property is spread over a large space of land with nice greenery all over. The pool is really nice too.

Sudhir the ops manager, Simran in sales and Avinash Were all extremely helpful.

The spa is really really good and great value for money. Both the therapists are extremely good and professional.

We had a amazing stay with them and strongly recommend this property.

Ten of us spent five days on this sprawling resort and had a great time. The property is lush green and well maintained.Cottages are like old Portuguese villas and our cottage Taurus had open air toilets! A beautiful deck overlooking the sea, a short path leading to the sea and a pretty swimming pool were our main attractions. Food was moderately good but service was a bit slow.

We stayed in Aashyana Lakhanpal in December2021. This property was suggested by one of my friends. As soon as we reached here we found that it's a huge property on the beach. We stayed in Beach cottage Tauras which was on the beach. Beach cottage was great with a mini refridgerator, Wifi and a small and nice balcony. Staff was very supportive special thanks to Mohit and Vineet who made our stay memorable. Great going guys keep it up will definately visit again.

Ashiyana has a sprawling property and has 2 bedroom Casinahs , cottages and 5 bedroom villa and yet they have so much open space and gardens that it gives a very charming feel to the place .We stayed in Libra , a two bedroom Casinah .High roof , spacious living areas , big kitchen, huge bedrooms, big sit out done up in Goan portugese style made it a very luxurious option. The breakfast was good even though options were limited and served with smile always .You have to inform the chef in advance if you choose to have a meal here .The staff is very dedicated and courteous. The service is very prompt. The beach access is through the property and very convenient and there's always a security guard on duty so you can easily leave your stuff there .The Beachfront is very beautiful and all water sport activities are close by
All in all, an experience we would like to enjoy again
A special mention of Mohit who took good care of us , Chef Vikas who curated delicious meals , the head landscaper Ambika Prasad ji who was kind enough to give bamboo saplings and Ms Simran who took care of our bookings
The only fault I could find was the weak Wi-Fi.Since the signal connectivity is not good, the Wi-Fi needs to be strong for communication with the rest of the world ( Alas , the devilish need to stay connected)

Hi you would have to ask the property about tariffs as there may have been an increase and we booked via an agent. We had a bungalow and he rate included breakfast. There was a kitchen, lounge, 2 bedrooms and 2 outdoor bathrooms, and large terrace. Very spacious. Hope that helps.
