One of the better properties in North Goa with walkable distance to the Candolim public beach which has a lot of shacks to chill out. The rooms were clean, well maintained and overall decor was well appointed. The swimming pool was well kept and is nice stress buster for couples, families and friends alike. The breakfast spread is almost as good as it gets and the restaurant meals too were worth thier price (check for off season discounts). The chef, Mr Shashank Kadam and the severs including Kiran, Gaurav and Libi(I hope I got their names right) were really helpful and accomodating, especially regarding kids meals, which is appreciated. The food preparation were authentic and fresh which even the kids enjoyed. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The walk to the beach goes through some public places and Candolim beach is steeper than other beaches, but it surely is one of the best places to hangout on those lazy evenings.

Myself & my friends wanted to have a quiet and relaxing bachelor. The staff at lemon tree is always helpful and professional at every location. We received the best hospitality from the goa staff. They also served breakfast buffets until 11 am so we had no worry to wake up early. We had booked a villa and had our own private pool. They say, home is where the heart belongs & lemontree staff maksz you feel like home. Thankyou chef Mr. Vinayak and Sandy and also very special thanks to your entire team at lemontree. Looking forward for another visit in the future.

Had 3 night stay with my family (wife and 2 son) during end of Jan. Initially had some delay in getting a room though we requested early check-in but seems resort was full and that caused delay. Front desk manager was reasonable to offer us complementary dinner, thanks for that.
Location is on main candolim road and nearby you can enjoy many good shack n restaurants. From back side of the resort, you can access beach on just 2 min walk.
Lemontree buffet has good options and serves local flavor too. Kitchen is open 24 hours and serves fresh food.

Almost all support staff especially kitchen and restaurant was so warm. I don't remember everyone name but Ajay and Chef (from Pune) were amazing.
The most important thing I like about Lemontree is their staff have a very good number of specially abled Gems and I really appreciate it.

Would like to visit anytime in future!!!

Horrible Experience with my stay at Lemon Tree Amarante Beach Resort.
Their Room Intercom was not working so you have to go Out for asking for Basic Amenities,Added to that Kettle was not working and the Bathroom Jet was leaking. The Best part is everybody was listening but there was no solution for 3-4 days.I travelled 10 hours for a Staycation but the experience was horrible,It did not stop their. In the breakfast buffet they didn't have enough space and they made me sit out where you have to beg them to get toasts and butter for you, they took me around 30-40 minutes to get them.Everybody was shouting in the Room who where being offered the breakfast.I would never recommend this property to anyone. If you want to waste your money then this propoerty is for yoh.The only compensation this property provides is that it is close to the beach just walking distance. There was no sincere staff member who actually understood our problem or offered us any sort of compensation even by wordly assurance.Very unprofessional staff they our highly understaffed.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Lemontree resort, and indeed had the best time of our lives. This hotel has an edge over others on the location, as it's so central that all the important sites are just a stone throw distance from the hotel. We received such a warm welcome from the hotel staff and the general manager Mr Hassan ensured that our kids had a memorable stay by checking on our needs from time to time. He is so approachable and most importantly available that we felt so comfortable at all times and approached him whenever we required anything. The staff at the hotel is equally welcoming and supportive.
We stayed at a heritage villa with a private pool and it was indeed a lifetime experience. The room was clean and attractive. Paintings from the past have been preserved and accented the walls in all their glory. The decor is tasteful and aesthetically pleasing. We were offered clean linen every day. The covid protocols were in place and nobody moved without a mask. Sanitisers were placed everywhere in the hotel.
The restaurant food was simple was very tasty. The chef prepared fresh food for all meals and we had an opportunity to taste some good authentic Goan food alongside some north Indian food satiating our taste buds.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to live close to the beach and enjoy some great restaurants and bars.

After an exhausting 5 weeks travelling in India and staying at 9 different hotels we finally took a 10 night relaxing break at the very comfortable Lemon Tree Amarante Beach Resort.

To say that we were looked after and made to feel special would be an understatement. Each and every member of staff, from the General Manager to the Front Desk, Restaurant and Housekeeping, did everything they could to ensure we had a memorable time.

Nothing was too much to ask for and we were spoilt. We were upgraded to the Heritage Suite which was a marvellous gesture and a splendid luxurious end to our holiday.

The staff exercise very high standards of service and customer care. They appear to have a passion for satisfying any request large or small.

I could name all of the staff for being very helpful, considerate and kind but a few names are embedded in my memory:

Front desk – Welcita. A great ambassador for the hotel
Restaurant – Riya, Helen and Vishnu
Housekeeping Supervisor – Deepak

And not forgetting:
Sandy Dongle
Dhanesh Candolkar
Sushan
Sandeep
Ayub

The beach is only a 5 minute walk away with many beach restaurants to choose from. Sun-beds and parasols are free as long as you buy the occasional drink. The main road outside of the front of the hotel also has many restaurants catering for all tastes. The main restaurant in the hotel is outstanding and offers a good menu and great service.

Thank you Lemon Tree for looking after us so well – I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and shall definitely return.

Best wishes to all staff.

We stayed at this beautiful property for 3 nights. They have very comfortable, clean, well conditioned rooms with all standard amenities. The ground floor rooms open to the swimming pool area which has a well stocked bar & two restaurants adjacent to it. Best part is that this hotel has an access to Candolim beach at just about 200 mtr walk. You will not find many hotels in North Goa with such an access. The main street is very lively & there are some good restaurants around. Must try food at De Candolim Deck which has much better food and variety vs Fisherman Cove. There is also a well stocked grocery store Delfinos closeby. Taxi service is easily available & it is truly a good location to stay on that stretch. The cherry on the cake is the Service staff led by Mr. Abdul. Extremely courteous staff & great hospitality. Plus, Kudos to lemon tree for employing so many differently-abled people and grooming them for an absolutely delightful service.

Lemon tree Amarante wins big points for its location as it is placed right on the main road in Candolim, making it accessible to small cafés and restaurants along road, while being just a two minute walk from the tranquil beach.

The property itself is unique as the heritage wing of the hotel is essentially a beautifully restored Portuguese villa converted into suites. The newly constructed wing, I reckon houses the normal rooms where I stayed.

While the location is accessible and the property is stunning, it is the heart-warming hospitality of the staff that made my vacation special.

Welcita, Abdul and Kiran deserve a special mention for ensuring that my stay was comfortable and relaxing.

I look forward to coming backing and making more memories.

Yes some rooms have been refurbished. We were originally in older rooms which did need some tlc but we had been told to request one of the newer rooms so we did and we were movef promptly. Regarding cleanliness, I didnt feel that there was a problem, the house keeping team were very officiant and thorough. Some parts of the hotel are quite rustic but I think it adds to the charm.
