The service at this hotel is absolutely amazing, from the reception checking in to the housekeeping making sure the room is perfect everyday, we were made to feel really looked after and it made the stay so special.
The room was great with a huge balcony, the breakfast offered a wide selection of food that was clean and well presented. We stayed for four nights and were really impressed.

Stayed in Candolim for 7 nights. Great reception with welcome drinks. Initially disappointed with our room as it seemed a little tired looking, had awful views and loud music from neighbouring properties. Manisha on reception and Krishna head of housekeeping was really understanding and managed to move us to the 4th floor the next day.
Our rooms were kept spotless thanks to Sanjay our house keeper.
Only real negative was the very busy and noisy breakfast area. Some guests wearing PJ’s and nightwear was not the etiquette I’d expect to see in a 5* hotel. Again the staff were helpful and escorted us to a quieter area and even made puri’s especially for us. A special mention to Sayantan our waiter this morning. He had the area laid out perfectly unlike other days. He was polite and considerate, a credit to the hotel.
Taxis outside the hotel charge more so worth walking down the Main Street instead. Shuttle bus to Candolim beach provided by hotel is a great service. Would recommend Calamari beach though. Also Morjim is worth a visit.
Overall hotel perfectly located on the Main Street and local amenities.

There are two Novotel hotels in the area, and locals and taxi drivers still refer to this one as "Novotel Shrem". The two hotels are about 20 minutes walk away from each other, with free car transfers between the two. You can have breakfast at either, and use the pool facilities at both. There is also a free shuttle service to the beach, but this is only 15 minutes walk away. Numerous restaurants and bars are nearby. We paid for an upgraded room, but the first one we were shown had poor views, and was a little dirty and smelly (surprising for this international chain). We asked for a different room, which was no problem, which had a better pool view and was cleaner and no smells. The buffet breakfast was good, but very busy at peak times. The taxi transfer arranged from the hotel cost twice the amount as the taxi from the airport, which was disappointing.

I have stayed in this hotel in 2018 and till than it was decent, but now this is worst than a 3 star hotel, I was given a choice to select ground floor or first floor deluxe room but the moment I went into the lobby area of the rooms it was pathetically messy, nobody checked my temperature while checking in, even the luggage was not sanitised. After much complaints, Miss Dipti who takes care of Housekeeping, assured me of better services and helped a lot. I was surprised to hear rooms are cleaned on alternate day basis or on request, imagine when hygiene is utmost priority, cleanliness is comprised. I ordered Soup which had high salt. Food is overly priced and limited options available for in-room dining.. Ved Sandwhich for 540. While Miss Dipti said hotel is due to renovation after Covid crises. But certainly they are not prepared to host guest while assuring safety & hygiene measures for Covid. Overall you may find better hotels in the price you may pay for this hotel for a fake 5 star tag or choose only luxury rooms, Other rooms are worst than 3 star. Authorities need to review their status of a 5 star property.

I visited Novotel Candolim with my family during week of 13th Jan and it was a peaceful and relaxing stay. The reception area is open and airy and the free shuttle to and from Candolim beach is excellent. The breakfast was good and the rooms were pool facing, also the location was very convenient with lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. Special mentions to Tanishka and Ayush for being proactive in making our stay pleasant, thanks a lot.
Points to improve- service needs to be faster, pool needs to be better maintained, housekeeping to be improved.
All in all, Novotel Candolim is recommended from my side if you wish to enjoy your stay in Goa.

To start with, the location is apt on Candolim, Goa. For local travel and self drive car or two wheeler rentals, the vendors are right opposite and near the hotel. All major restaurants and nightlife arenas are within 20min from the hotel and the beach a mere 5 min shortcut walk.
The rooms are spacious. We had booked the highest category Elegance Suite which is a duplex, with a bathtub!! With this room category you get complimentary welcome drink per adult, and 15% discount on their wonderful spa. The ground floor of the room has a washroom and living area with tv, and a small balcony. The first floor has the master bedroom with tv and a huge bathroom with the bathtub!
Divya from the hospitality team ensured we had a wonderful stay by arranging for a cute balloon decor outdoor seating and a celebratory dessert.
Kudos to the Novotel Candolim team for their hospitality and services.

We stayed with our one and half year old son for two nights and were truly amazed of the services considering the requirements of a small kid. Complimentary food and drinks anytime for our kid and the f&b people made sure to truly take care of everything. Good location in north goa however they have discontinued their shuttle service probably due to covid. However, can not rate it all 5 stars because being a couple we were given a bed with two different mattresses which come unojoined sometimes and the rooms are starting to show their age.

It had been a long time that I had been to Goa. After the Covid pandemic, we intended to go to some place where we feel safe. Checked out the Novotel Candolim and booked it. The check in was nearly contact less. Every time we entered the hotel our temperatures were checked and all the room service (for food) was done at the door step. All the staff were wearing gloves, masks and were taking every precaution to maintain social distancing. The rooms are sanitised everyday. Our cards too were being sanitized after our payments.
In spite of so many formalities we felt welcomed. The service was great.
I would like to especially thank Akshata and Manisha (The members of the Novotel staff) for making our stay comfortable.
The swimming pool and the kids play area were not operational due to the government regulations which was a sad part for my kids, but they did enjoy the breakfast spread every morning.
Overall, the stay and service were worthy of wanting us stay there again.

We chose Novotel thinking it is a known brand and expected a certain level of service.
On arrival the room was dirty and on complaining the staff said some of it was due to repainting the furniture was damaged and housekeeping said they couldn’t see what the problem was. Then one of our laundry items was missing. It took them all evening to find it and when they did they delivered it at 2am!! At breakfast when asking for something hot we were told “ it’s self service today as there are too many guests and we can’t be serving everyone “
My friend waiting patiently for his car keys was told to wait 5 minutes while other walked straight up and got his 😕
Everyday that we stayed we had to request our rooms being cleaned as we would come back mid afternoon to find our rooms not cleaned ðŸ˜
The pool had tiles coming away, my friend and I caught our toes on them several times. The second pool was concrete but soooo rough you had to tread very carefully as it felt like you were walking on rocks
We stayed a total of 3 nights and each day we had to complain about something!!
The hotel staff have no customer service manners or hotel etiquette. They seemed to question or talk back to whatever you asked or complained about. For a 5 star hotel it it very disappointing and not comparable to other Novotel hotels I’ve stayed at.
