We the 4 friends have visited this resort in the goa trip from 11th to 14 November, 2021. This resort is in perfect place for the couples, friends for a short stay in North Goa. This resort is located in the heart of Candolim city in the waddy colony and the Candolim beach is just 200 meters away from the resort. The locality has its own serenity as like as the Candolim beach. Most of the happening places of North Goa like Baga beach, Calangute beach is within 5kms, you can easily hire scooty from nearby shops and hop on to these places. Anjuna beach is 15 kms , Arambol ashwem beach beach is 27 kms away from here. In the nearby localities and markets you can have your party feeds. Cafe Jazz (just opposite of Delfinos), Candolim deck (just near waddy colony) is good option where you can enjoy sumptuous foods, drooling drinks with mind freshening live music. All of these located very near to this resort. We have stayed in 2 rooms (C9, C12) of the Maria block of this resort, those are the terrace rooms. Every rooms are equipped with AC, 2 huge windows, television, 1 queen size bed, 1 mini fridge , attached washroom having western toilets & obviously with a nice terrace equipped with 2 chairs, 1 cemented sofa, I feel which is very perfect place for spending your quality times at night. The resort is also equipped with a pool(not heated) functional from 9AM to 8PM , one towel will be provided per room at the pool. Some of the cons of the resort I must highlight apart from all these are:

1. The swimming pool is not heated , which I feel is a major con at the time of winter evening.

2. They have a ridiculous check in and check out timings which are 1 PM and 11 AM respectively, and at the time of check out they will behave with you harshly if you exceed the time of 11 AM. We had some difficulties for booking our cab and due to some issues in our mobile we have informed the same in reception and asked for 12PM-12:30PM check out, but they had simply rejected the same over our face and they send their housekeeping boy in our room so that he can harp on us , nag on us to vacate the room as early as possible. Which is really unacceptable from such a 3-4 star renowned resort of Goa.

3. Kindly beware from your valuable assets in rooms, In our rooms we have lost some of our petty things like nail cutters and all. If those can be missed from missed I really feel people staying here must keep a close look on thier belongings in rooms.

4. Every possible things which are complementary in other such resorts and hotel are chargeable here. You will get only 1 one litre water bottle per day here , if you ask for any more water apart from that you will be charged 30 + GST for the same, even when have asked for ice cubes, we were charged 60 + GST on the same.

If such things can be removed from this resort it will be really good stay in North Goa near Candolim beach.

I booked through makemytrip 4 nights in feb20, my stay at Casablanca with my family - 4 nos my father (75 years) and our 🧒(6 yrs).
The staff is very nice, supportive and guided me in all respect with help right from how to plan my travel from port to resort, what sport activities I can do, booking car for north/south Goa trip including assigning a very matured and soft spoken chauffeur - Mr. Vikram, etc. Special thanks to Sanjay ji and Raj for all their help to enable me to make our trip so comfortable and hassle free.
The veg food is very tasty 😋, the ambience with facilities of pool, king size bed, cleanliness and the location closure to candolim beach (at a quite, peaceful location at beach with walking distance) is the most ideal stay for family.
Their is alway a smile, and welcoming feeling on staff’s face especially Umesh who has ensured we get hot and quick food Services in our suite.

The photos of the place put up by the management are deceiving. The Suit room that I stayed looked very old and needed an upgrade. The walls of the rooms are not clean, and the toilet walls and tile joints are all dirty. The pool is kept clean. But for the crowd that could come in with these many rooms, it was crowded. The breakfast spread is too less. Food was average. Toiletries were bear minimum with a small soap and a sachet of shampoo. Not the greatest of the place to stay. Given a chance, I will not come to the place again.

Stayed with my family for few nights.

The location is fantastic. Walking distance to Beach & Shopping. Car & Bike rental is conveniently located outside.

Service is pretty ordinary. Hotel staff, though friendly, does not understand hospitality or customer service.

Food taste is passable. We only ate on the day of arrival, and found much better options at walking distance (Grills & Curries, Earthen Oven etc.). Breakfast spread was pretty limited.

Parking is outside on the road, which dirties the car. Parts of property looks dilapidated and requires maintenance.

Overall, do not recommend for families, looking for a relaxing Goa time. There are better options around.

This is my third trip to Goa with my family and it has been the best stay till date for me in Goa. Here is my review

Location: Just 100s meter from the the Candolim beach. Right around major market and restaurants. But still away from the main road so no noise from the traffic.

Hotel: the hotel area is covered with ample trees and and vegetation which gives a soothing experience to you. The hotel areas were always clean and never saw even a piece of thrash around. The hotel does not have its own parking but the road beside the hotel leads to dead end and hence there was ample space to park the car. The security was also very good, it did not allow anyone except the guests staying in the hotel to enter. Some friends visited me and they were also asked to give their ID as proof.

Rooms: Based on other reviews, I booked the suites on the ground floor as my in laws were also with me. My rooms were in building C. The rooms are quite good as per the rent I paid. Rooms are very clean. The suites also have a lounge area with Sofas. The linen provided were very clean. Bathrooms were also clean along with the wash basin and the shower area.

Restaurant: the resort have a restaurant as well. From taste perspective, the food was really good. However the only drawback was that it had very limited menu for goan food. Would like to see some more options for goan cuisine apart from other like Russian etc. The restaurant was along with the pool area which made the location more enjoyable.

Service: The staff was very polite and helpful. They serviced the rooms regularly without even asking for the same.

Overall experience: Overall my experience was really awesome here and the resort was really worth the money I paid.

I had booked a suite for three days, the rooms are exactly as per the photographs. It is perfect for couples. The property is small and cozy and tucked in the corner of Candolim. Very close to the beach about 100 steps. Beach has atleast 7-8 shacks lined up as soon as you reach it. Not very crowded unlike Baga and Calangute. I took my morning walks by the beach and afternoon swims in the pool available at Casablanca with a chilled beer. Staff is always cheerful and happy to assist you. Mr Sanjay, was very helpful when it came to inquiring about nearby restaurants, arranging transport and managing a comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking at a mid range stay with decent amenities.

I and my 11 years twins stayed at Casablanca Beach resort for 4 nights from 6th April 2024 to 10th April 2024. The resort is just 5 mins walking distance from Candolim beach which apparently is a very clean and nice beach. There are good restaurants nearby and the shopping lane is just 3 mins. walking distance from the resort.

We found the hotel staff very cooperative and welcoming. Benny, the Property Manager is very welcoming and went out of the way to make some arrangements for us. Chef Himanshu is a good cook and Ranjit is very good at providing service in the restaurant.

The swimming pool is very clean and is an enjoyable place, especially in the afternoon hours when you can’t visit the beach in the scorching heat. Rooms are quite spacious, clean and comfortable for 4-5 guests to stay. Just one observation – Suggestion is to have ‘Live Dosa counter’ everyday like there is ‘Live eggs counter’ during the buffet breakfast.

Overall, 5 on 5 and kudos to the Casablanca team. Highly recommended place.

Hotel is nestled away from Main Street, even our cab driver couldn’t find it on 1st attempt. Not sure what star rating this place claims to have but initial impressions were it struggled for a two. Portions of the site was cordoned off for electrical or water pipe works. Rooms are very basic - functional at best. Breakfast buffet was very basic and was Indian centric for offerings - no fruit at all. Shower rooms were quite dilapidated and again functional at best. Staff are helpful yes and the WiFi non existent in rooms only at the breakfast/dining area. Pool was pretty dirty and unappealing. Although a 5 minute walk to
Beach and local restaurants was the only consolation to be had. Timing may have played into our stay as the beaches and local high streets were easy to navigate not
Being so busy. Not a stressful location to stay - but not a huge extravagance either. Best for a short stay.

CASABLANCA beach resort Goa is an excellent place to stay in Goa. It feels like a home away from home. Every staff is extremely courteous and helpful. Dining in the resort restaurant is simply awesome. Delicious food, wide variety and great service enhances the whole experience. My daughter is so happy that she says" For me being in Goa simply means staying in Casablanca. Casablanca has won our hearts". Thank you everyone at Casablanca for your hospitality.

Budget stay near Candolim Beach!

If you're on a budget trip you may consider booking this place.

Calm and Quiet and has a little bit of everything such as a swimming pool, in house restaurant, spacious rooms, beach and other sightseeing options are nearby. Plenty of restaurants and close to candolim market, yet very quiet and peaceful

However, room service is pretty slow. Slow beyond imagination. Though food is good and so is complimentary breakfast.

We booked a suite room which was spacious. But the bed was spring mattress and not all comfortable. It was small for two people sleeping with a 4 year old kid.

The washroom was neat but the toilet seat cover was broken. They got it fixed when we asked them to. The point is, they must check these things before allotting the rooms.

While booking, I had asked them to give me the best possible room and that I didn't mind paying more. I got a suite room which had a partial pool view whereas the room next to me was better and it was vacant too. God knows why they did this to us?

Still it was an ok stay. Should book this place if you're on a budget trip. You won't regret it. After all, Goa is really expensive and this place is budget friendly.
