This is one of the nicest places to stay in North Goa if you are looking for something quaint, quiet & deliciously comfortable. It’s location is world class, with the most beautiful trekking trails around it.
The rooms are stylishly done, spotless and super spacious.
The staff and Susan, the owner, are so very warm and delightfully welcoming.
Moreover the place has impeccable service, yet feels like home.
This has all the makings of something that’s seriously charming and chic without the fuss.
We Really enjoyed our time here during the lockdown, we stayed for about 17 days~ In the penthouse suit, Mughal suite and garden room; all three spaces were winsome in their own way.
This place is so classy; anywhere else you would have to shell out a whole whole lot more to get this level of panache, service and location at a property.
Would greatly recommend this to all and sundry.

P.S: Susan is the most amazing trained aromatherapist, do try her treatments! And the food which is unexpectedly tasty!

I've been to Goa nearly 10 times now and this place made me the happiest. Right from its quaint location and architecture to the way the rooms were kept, we loved every bit of it. Each and every corner of the guest house looked beautiful, the staff was super sweet, and they cooked excellent food for us! I highly recommend this place because money-wise too, it's completely worth it.

Do take the walk from the property to Aguada Fort over the hill.

We were looking for a place that is close to the usual touristy places in Goa but also quiet.
We found this charming boutique hotel with only about 10 rooms tucked away past all the big brand hotels.
All the rooms were well appointed, spacious and clean.
You can definitely call is rustic, but very charming.
The ground floor rooms open up onto a little courtyard, which is also were you can have breakfast, a coffee or some snacks.
The team is very hospitable and accommodating. Food is local, good, wholesome.

Would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to stay a little away from the hustle and bustle, yet be close to the beach. A lot of restaurants, cafe and small shops are on the main road going through the town and are easily walkable from the hotel.
If you are traveling with friends try to book ahead and book a couple of rooms.

This is a Portuguese stye bungalow converted into a guest house. We took the Rajasthani Suite after looking at its pictures and were not disappointed. It has a beautiful sitting space and a very green and pretty backyard that's a part of it and is worth paying for. The morning light shines through the windows and falls directly on the bed making it appear beautiful in mornings.

The staff was helpful and we met the owner of the property as well. She's a lovely lady who suggested we take a short trek to a lighthouse from behind the property. It was a good suggestion that led to a wonderful day outing for us.

The location is stellar, this guest house is situated at about 7-8 minutes walk from the Aguada Fort and beach. We went there every evening unless it was raining and had a wonderful time. There are shops and convenience stores nearby making it easy to shop if you need to.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay for a week and would recommend it to others.

This place is a dream! It has the best patio surrounded by greenery secluded in an area where you hear nothing but your breath! It has an open kitchen to whip up some nice breakfast for yourself and a balcony to sit relax and read or listen to music.
The staff is super friendly and really welcoming felt like a home away from home.
The owner loves cute doggies who roam around the property so if u are a lover of luxury and nature then this place is for you.

The rooms are super clean and the caretakers also very helpful.
One of the best properties in Goa to stay for a peaceful trip.

Goa has many fabulous beaches and resorts. Sinquerim is possibly just a sleepy, pretty beach, but if you want to utterly indulge in a unique and ultra charming property, it would be hard to go past Marbella.

Not the 5 star plush resort, it oozes character that breaks down any formality and the staff couldn’t be more helpful whilst you soak up the opulent heritage environment. Sajjan makes you welcome and Moti et al. spoil you…

From the extra fan, to discussions with the kitchen (overseen by maestro Pasquale) about whatever meal you’d like prepared fresh for the evening to a mid afternoon refresher, nothing is too much.

It’s peacefully away from the madness, but only a 10 minute wobble to the beach.

And, being a review, it’s great value, too.

Thanks all at Marbella, hope to be back…

We enjoyed our stay in this lovingly restored old Portuguese house hugely. Great service from a very personable team, excellent food on the premises for both breakfast and dinner and rooms that conjured up the best of colonial India. Really great value for money, and we would recommend this to anyone visiting Goa!

The stay was amazing staff on toes always service best with smile face.
Many many times during the stay we had odd time demand and for food and other things. Staff and owner were great and friendly Cook Ashok thanks for keeping us fed with variety of food, tantalizing our taste buds.
Higeine was taken good care of. Location of property is in dence greenery and 5-10 minutes walk for small cliff to witness sun set.
Worth staying with family and friends.

I have been to goa plenty of times before with my friends and have always stayed in Calangute or Mapusa with all the happening goan feel, getting exposed to the social and nightlife there, but this time it was very different :)
Thanks to Marbella.
I had been to goa for my honeymoon and we had a wonderful time. The staff is amazing, we had booked the Rajasthani suite, Sajjan welcomed us very well and also gave us a bike which was in a very good condition. Pascal, the best chef i have known, don’t forget to taste the food there, specifically Fish and Pasta were my personal favourites.
I would definitely recommend everyone to stay at Marbella, if you are looking for a secluded place with a different goan experience. I loved the staff’s gesture of making us feel at home, you don’t find such people in today’s world, i know this is exaggerative enough, but they were very down to earth :)
Lastly, if you are a dog lover, then it’s a cherry on the cake, meet sophie there ;)

If you want a perfect goan house set up, with stunning plants, flowers, delicious food, comfortable stay, hospitable and warm hosts - Marbella Guest House is your place to be!

Although it's located in the centre of Candolim, the house is at the end of a quiet & dark lane which is 500m from the main road. It gets quite dark in nights so having a bike/ car is recommended.

Sophie the doggo is the highlight!
