I cannot find a single flaw in my experience at the Astor. Although it’s located in the quieter Candolim area, it’s just a couple of hundred meters from the more "happening" spots, so you get the best of both worlds—peace and proximity to activities. The hotel is new and well-maintained, and beyond the basics of location, service, comfort, and cleanliness that you expect from any 5-star property, this place has truly gone above and beyond.
They’ve put a lot of thought into all the little details, providing personalised service and anticipating the needs of holidaymakers. They’ve excelled in addressing even the minor inconveniences. For instance, they offer drying services for clothes after using the pool or beach, free swimming lessons for kids, and complimentary shuttle services (with a 4x4) to and from local destinations.
It was an amazing experience, and we hope to be back soon.

We stayed at the astor goa for a night. From the moment we stepped in to the time we got into our car and drove away, we were treated and taken care off amazingly well. We were welcomed graciously at the reception by maria and anuj. There was a salsa night(fortunately) that evening and was an added experience as we didnt expect it. It was amazing with guys teaching us to do steps and turned out to be lovely. The food by chef divyanshi was amazing the cauliflower grill was out of this world. Housekeeping by saroj, sanish and abhishek was great and they gave us a special turndown in the evening by decorating the room. Overall would recommend this to everyone.

Enjoyed my stay at The Astor Goa. From the very start, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcome from arrival with complementary juice through to the end. Staff were very helpful and informative with information in regards to the local area and attractions as well as within the hotel in regards to any requests we had. The hotel has many amenities such as pool and spa, as well as other optional services such as laundry and taxi services which can very easily be arranged with a fee. The hotel also held some optional experiences such as sound therapy and cooking/baking classes which could also be arranged with a cost. The hotel was kept clean and tidy, with housekeeping attending rooms up to twice a day, even providing water bottles daily which was much appreciated! Some refreshments and a kettle/hot drink making facilities are provided in the rooms. Appreciated all the small gestures that housekeeping provided such as origami flowers and butterflies as well as sleep oil. Staff had no issues with any requests. Restaurant staff were incredibly kind and helpful everyday, very good with accommodating dietary requirements and a good choice of vegetarian foods at breakfast and on the menu. As we had stayed for an extended period of time, they had even gotten used to our orders which gives a personal touch. Overall, the stay was enjoyable and would recommend for a trip to North Goa.

The Astor is simply superb and outstanding. The best one in Goa I suppose. Very spacious rooms with all possible amenities, located in heart of Candolim near the beach. The entire hotel is amazing. The food is simply amazing. The house keeping team, room service team and entire team is very cooperative and understanding. Astor is a highly recommend property is Goa. Plush rooms, above average hygeine levels, courteous staff and must mention names of a few whom I interacted with Arun, Juyle, Sriti, Hema, Amisha, Monu; Thank you for your amazing hospitality. Their executive chef Divyanshi and sous chef Dev and chef Geeta went beyond their capacities to help us in customising food as per our infant daughter. Divyanshi and Dev even went forward to treat us to a Chef’s table dinner with dishes going down the memory lanes Their servers Joseph and Joshua have wonderful recommendations and extreme knowledge about the food and drinks they are serving. They even make their own concoctions from scratch. Jason, Vijay and Rahul from housekeeping staff kept our room spic and span throughout and even gave our daughter something new to play with everyday, including a beautiful tent to accommodate all her toys. The lifeguard Sanjay went beyond his duties to entertain us. Anulekha from the spa is amazing. Our daughter was welcomed by everyone, even the guards knew her by the time we left. She has done kitchen rounds, has her own chef’s hat and the flamingo floatie is remembered everyday.

The Astor experience is one that is refreshing. The location, being away from the main roads and noise does give you a sense of calm. The rooms and spacious and well designed. Our balcony had a swing seat! Bathrooms are large and come with the Astor bathrobes. We found the bath slippers to be one of the most comfortable ones that come with a fantastic sole grip (We've been to quite a few hotels and this stands out!). Food quality is exceptional. Loved the baked yogurt and the vibrant spread for breakfast. Make sure to ask for suggestions from the staff before settling on your choices. The hotel provides a variety of experiences both in the hotel and outside do check with the team and they'll be happy to help you.

The staff work incredibly hard to cater for your every need. Kamal , the young man who cleaned our room each day took extra care to provide me with water and ensured optimum comfort when I was unwell in particular. The pool area and the hotel is immaculate, with a great room service menu.

An exceptional 5 day stay at the wonderful Astor Goa- the hotel is beautiful both in the common areas and in the room ( lovely decoration and spacious) , extremely clean and well located close to the beautiful Candolim beach. The staff were helpful, professional and friendly including front desk (Mr shailendra and team), restaurant ( Mr Soubhayia, Joshua, Joseph, and the others, ,room staff ( Arvind and team) and management with the exceptional Mr Ganguly - who was incredibly good at his job, informative and attentive and went out of his way to ensure his guests were comfortable. The service was great all around and staff made us feel incredibly welcome and special. The breakfast was a delicious, fresh and a beautifully presented spread with lots of variety. The spa treatment was lovely and well priced for the service. It is the special touches including the friendly, helpful and professional staff, the complimentary afternoon tea, buggie rides to the beach, minibar, pillow options, and personal room touches that make this hotel so unique and special. As a frequent traveller for both work and leisure, I can firmly say that the Astor Goa goes above and beyond. It is an exceptionally well managed hotel, and one I will definitely return to and one I highly recommend.
