After nearly 20 years holidays in Candolim, mainly in hotels and after our second stay at Albuquerque, we really must spread the word about the superb standards here, all five star at least. From the smiling night boy who greets us in the middle of the night to the helpful, willing, nothing is too much trouble attitude of the manager, Jala, everything about Albuquerque can only be highly recommended. The apartments are comfortable, adequate and spotless, are kept so daily and we have never had the slightest concern about security for ourselves or our property. A more than adequate breakfast is included, as are pool and beach towels. Most of the apartments are well away from the dust and noise of the main road, which has lots of interesting local shops and a well stocked supermarket just a few minutes walk away. Also, for those of us who like to keep an eye on international news, a paper shop is just across the road, who sell fresh milk for a morning cuppa. Self catering facilities are minimal but the kitchen is adequate for simple food preparation and cleaned daily. The beach is a ten minute stroll away. Last but not least is the cost which, including flights, works out vastly less than our previous package holidays. We have, of course, booked for next year. Thank you, one and all, for the magic of Albuquerque.

We had a fabulous 3 weeks at the Albuquerque villas! Jala the Manager, was so helpful, pleasant and professional dealing with our enquiry, showing us around the different style/sizes of villas. We opted for the one bedroom Villa, with a separate sitting room. This really fitted our holiday needs perfectly. This is a beautifully oasis in the, at times, chaotic holiday area of Goa. From having our Villa Serviced to maintenance of the gardens and grounds, the staff work nonstop to ensure we had a totally relaxing and chilled out stay. All the staff were so pleasant and friendly, quietly working away to ensure they didn’t disturb us. The location of the Albuquerque is perfect, just off the main road to allow you to relax by the pool, but only a few minutes walk to the main road and you have a massive selection of bars and restaurants. The wifi was great, working in our Villa and pool area. Our Villa was serviced daily and our bedding and towels changed every second day. Santosh and Rekha looked after all our needs and were so helpful. Bottled water was left in our room when needed as well as tea & coffee. There was a smashing big fridge freezer in our Villa which was great and an added bonus. The sun beds and pool area were also very well maintained. The Albuquerque is so different from many other types of accommodation in Goa as it’s so central, with a pool and sunbathing area. We had tried to book here a few years ago but it was always full, so delighted we were able to stay here on this occasion. This really was a great find. Throughout our stay, Jala checked if we needed anything. There’s a lovely breakfast area attached to the Albuquerque, which offers a light selection of breakfast foods, both European and Indian dishes. Very very reasonably price, fresh and made to order. Having visited Goa many times, staying in different types of apartments and hotels, we can honestly say the Albuquerque is the nicest one we’ve stayed at. It really suited our idea of a chilled holiday with everything just 2 mins away, this was like staying in a 5 star hotel. Thanks to all the staff team at Albuquerque!

We had an incredible stay at the Center of Candolin!
The beach is merely a 10 minutes walk away, and it is tranquil and spotless.
The accommodation was superb as it was equipped with a coffee/tea maker, a large fridge/freezer, air-conditioning, and fans in all of the rooms.
Plus, they even supplied us with 5 liters of purified water per day!
All the shops and restaurants are just a 5 minute stroll away, including a thoroughly stocked grocery store.
The pool was impeccably clean and they even provided us with towels for both the pool and the beach.
The staff were incredibly friendly and always available to help with any inquiries, such as booking a taxi, and they even allowed us to exchange money at a reasonable rate.

Breakfast was an additional cost, but it was quite inexpensive and quite filling.

I landed up in Albuquerque by chance (and destiny), and I thank my stars for having chosen this place for my visit to GOA.
Key highlights
1. Very clean and well maintained property, and very suitable for even a longish stay (I spent 8 nights).
2. Amazing HOST (Mrs Jala Naik) and friendly and helpful staff. I happened to call Jala randomly on a Friday morning, as I was struggling in an unfortunate selection of an AirBnB at Arpora. As I had already paid for 11 nights at the AirBnB, I was unsure if I could "Trust" another Goa property again. Jala was kind, compassionate and heard me out, volunteered to pick me up on the following Saturday morning to show me her property with no expectations. And the moment I walked in, it was a NO BRAINER!
After that, my trip was Fabulous. I spent an amazing time swimming in their very lovely and cute pool, I could walk around to multiple restaurants and shacks to grab a bite, I could even work out of the comfortable suite which has a desk and chair apt for working.
There is a lovely pantry, which can be used for making simple light meals, and Jala was very gracious to support me with basic utensils for prepping them.

Overall, I would highly recommend this property, as it is clean, convenient, comfortable and classy goan!
And a big shout out to Jala - who is doing a fabulous job!

I had originally booked this place for 5 nights but had to check out after 2. The place is at very good location, good family rooms and a swimming pool. We faced issues with insects all around. There were dead insects in the swimming pool and also in our rooms (dead dragon fly). We had to ask the staff everytime to clean the pool and using net's the pool wasnt getting enough cleaned.

Staff is only available till 6 pm post, so for any issues, you need to contact the caretaker or host on their mobile. I bought the issue with insects in swimming pool to which, got a standard reply of being common in the months of Nov & Dec.

2 extra stars only for Ms Jala who is the host and tried her best to help but my kids got panicked with things happening and eventually, we had to leave the place. Ms Jala was kind enough to return the amount. So am thankful for that.

This was our first stay at Albuquerque - and we have already booked for next year! The apartment was kept very clean throughout our six week stay. Sheets and towels changed every second day and the pool was always clean. The staff were very attentive and little extras such as a jug and a toaster were provided on request. A 5litre bottle of water was left in our kitchen every day. The apartments are set in pleasant well kept gardens - and mosquitoes are sprayed every day!

The experience of staying in this place was fantastic. The staff was very supporting and helped outof the way to make us feel comfortable. would love to stay again.
The property is centrally placed and surrounded by exotic eating and shopping destinations and not very far from other places of visit like the candolim beach and dolphin point.

Excellent hotel. The rooms, location, grounds, pool are really great. Fresh water left in the room every day. The price was reasonable and we will be returning next year. However on some sites it's advertised as including a free breakfast but there is a place which clearly also belong to the hotel offering good cheap breakfasts
