This is our second visit to this resort and we absolutely loved it loved it.
Lorenco and his staff provide a personalised service and go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Every need is taken care of, starting our day with amazing yummy breakfast to catering for lunch on request. Our teenage girls enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Resort is walking distance to the beach and shops. We were also given discounts at the massage parlour being valued guests of Bougainville.
Lorenco is very helpful and knowledgeable, providing guidance on restaurants, attractions including airport pickup and drop.
We are already looking forward to our next trip to India and Goa in particular and will be staying with Lorenco and crew for sure.

This was our 4th visit to Bougainvillea. An outstanding guest house where you are instantly made to feel at home by Lourenco, his family and team. The location is perfect, tucked away in a quiet lane yet within easy walking distance of the beach and many shops and restaurants. The standards at Bougainvillea are very high. The rooms all have air conditioning and ceiling fans, are beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. A delicious breakfast is served in their small restaurant and evening meals are available to order. Absolutely nothing is a trouble to Lourenco and his team and when we were unfortunately caught up in lockdown for 3 weeks at the end of our 6 week stay, due to the corona virus the true hospitality and genuine caring nature of this family really shone through. We were so well looked after. Each day Leiven, Lourenco's son cooked us a superb breakfast and dinner and we were assured that this arrangement would continue for as long as necessary. Thank you so much to everyone. We will never, ever forget your kindness, help and concern during that difficult time and we are very much looking forward to our next visit.

Just back, after spending a month at my favourite guest house. Whether you are a solo traveller (which I am many times); or come with friends; you are always made to feel so welcome by Lourenco & staff. This family-run piece of Paradise is a hidden gem.
All rooms have A.C. & are spotlessly cleaned daily. Agnelo is there to greet you at breakfast in the tranquil garden, tempting you with mouth-watering breakfasts. Dinner can be ordered in advance - magnificent feasts cooked by Lourenco & his son Leavan. A 5 minute walk takes you to Fort Aguada & the quieter shacks.
Nothing is too much trouble for Lourenco & his fabulous family. They go that extra mile & it shows with his returning customers, who he treats as friends. I've stayed at many guest houses & hotels in Goa, over the years & after finding this diamond, would NEVER stay anywhere else.

This is our fourth stay at this guest house and we would never stay anywhere else in Goa. Lourenco and his team are absolutely faultless. It is like coming home for two weeks. Every aspect of the service is personal and nothing is too much trouble. The standard of the room service and cleaning is amazing and we have not one single thing we could pick fault with. No wonder we see the same people at breakfast year after year. Once you’ve discovered this hidden gem you wouldn’t stay anywhere else! Thank you Lourenco and team for an amazing holiday!

I have been staying with the lovely Silveira family now for 9 years. Every time I stay they make me feel part of the family. Especially the 5 times I have came on my own. The accommodation is perfect with rooms to suit all. The staff are all so friendly and nothing and know request if possible is an effort. Great choice of breakfast and evening meals can be booked with a days notice. I have made so many friends as many guests visit yearly like myself. I also visit some of them back in the UK. I am privileged to have such my lovely Goan family. They hold a special plays in my heart.

Second time I've visited the Bougainvillea and Lourenco and his team don't disappoint. Always welcoming and friendly with clean airy rooms I would definitely recommend visiting the Bougainvillea. Just far enough away from the noise and hustle of Candolim, the Bougainvillea is peaceful but also within easy reach of the town centre.

Second time at the wonderful place - this time with kids. And nothing has changed....in fact, things have only got better. We again chose the Suite and it just felt as if we were back home again. Lourenco, Leivin, Freddie and the entire team did everything possible to make the stay as comfortable as possible. And of course, Mario, with the travel. The kids loved them, as we thought they would. The food, as always, was just out of this world...The team baked the most wonderful cake ever for my birthday, and that quite literally, was the icing on the cake. Some journeys are also meant to make friends, over and above the leisure, and I am so glad that we are friends with the best team there is, in India. Waiting for the third time, hopefully soon.

Another excellent stay at Bougainvillea. Lourenco, Leiven and the team are great. The location is excellent, it's very peaceful and tranquil, with the new swimming pool adding a touch of class. Nothing is a problem and Lourenco and his team are always there to help. The guest are friendly and always seem happy. Definitely recommend if you want a little piece of paradise, its probably why the same guest go back year after year.

We have just returned from a two week holiday in Goa, staying at this fabulous property. A lovely warm welcome was waiting when we got there from Lourenco and the team. Our rooms were excellent- spotlessly clean, large comfortable beds, fridge with freezer, kettle and lounge area. Lovely big bathroom. Good effective air conditioning in the room. Lots of wardrobe space with loads of hangers 👍 There is no hairdryer in the room, you need to bring one. Iron can be borrowed if needed. Breakfast choice is good and well cooked The addition of the pool is fabulous and I used it every day, it’s a good size with easy access steps and a rail. There are no lifts but the staff carried my bag up to the room. Beautiful well maintained gardens, fabulous sitting area with good shade provided. Fresh flowers in the room, room cleaned daily and fresh towels and bedding given when asked. The property is in a residential area just a short walk to the Main Street. Travelled to Goa with my family and we stayed for 4 nights. I must say the staff is very friendly and welcoming and gave us the best service.
The rooms were spotless clean and spacious. I have stayed at many properties in Goa but this is by far the best. The breakfast was good and healthy.
The beach is at a walking distance which is a plus. Lourenco helped us get a rent a car so we could travel hassle free. We were even arranged a taxi back to the Airport.
Will definitely visit again. Cheers.

The H'Biscus is the newer Guest House and Penthouses are lovely. 1 is slightly smaller than the other.
Bourgainvillae has only 1 Penthouse which is very big and the Balcony is huge and has a lovely view over the hills and lighthouse.
I hope this helps.
However, all 3 penthouses are usually booked up a year in advance.
There are more places to choose from in the Candolim area.
