Silver Sands Serenity garners praise for its enviable location near Candolim Beach and the heart of the city, with guests appreciating the easy access to local attractions. The rooftop pool and the inviting ambiance of its spacious and modern rooms contribute to a comfortable stay. The hotel's cleanliness, including daily room upkeep, is frequently commended. However, visitors suggest that breakfast options could be more varied and service quality occasionally falls short. Despite these concerns, many find the hotel to offer good value for its amenities and location.

Just returned from silver sands serenity after a 2 week stay.
The hotel is in a great location about 5 mins to beech road.
Check in was quick and was told they upgraded our room as it was our anniversary.
We stayed in room 220 and was escort to our room
When entering the room it smelt damp but nothing to bad.
The whole room needs upgrading as alot of bed and sofa in the room was full of stains.
The decorating was terrible looked like a child had painted it.
The bathroom was something else with crack tiles in the shower and a bath positioned in the walk in shower with no taps on very strange.
Breakfast was ok but fairly basic, eggs cooked to order as well as bacon.
Room was cleaned daily and was leaving a tip on our last day until the house keeper knocked on our door and ask for is tip which I refused.
We had a great holiday but this hotel needs upgrading and not worth the money tui are charging much better and cheaper in Candolim.

Hotel well situated, very clean, friendly staff especially moiselle who greets you at breakfast with a happy smile. Lads in the bazaar bar are very helpful and chatty, raj simon Francis etc. TV needs more channels in English-had to pay for them, wifi not too good away from reception area. Pool is excellent and extremely clean.Sometimes power cuts in the evening- last 20secs. Would recommend staying here.

Where to begin?
The hotel reception is bright clean and airy, but it’s a separate building from the hotel.
The hotel has been recently painted but needs definite maintenance as rather shabby.
Our room was very large with a massive bed. Cleaned daily and towels and linen changed and tea/coffee etc replaced.
Luckily the pool had reopened and it was a pleasure to spend time on the new comfortable sun beds. I spent hours swimming and generally the pool was clean but towards the end of the first week an oily residue was visible on the tiles by the waterline. It did appear to have been cleaned after a few guests mentioned it. There is a food service at the poolside, we ordered once but the sandwich was virtually inedible and cost as much as a full meal elsewhere.
There is a problem with some guests taking beer bottles in the pool and even eating while in the pool. We reported it to management a few times but nothing was done. It did appear that the managers did not want to do anything as most of the guests were nationals.
There also appeared to be a problem with people openly smoking in bedrooms with the doors open, again this was not addressed.
Breakfast was adequate.
We had dinner once in the restaurant, we barely saw anyone else eating there but decided to give it a try. Food was ok but the service very poor. It seemed to come as a surprise to the staff that they had customers. Waited 20 mins for 2 drinks and then had to ask for menus, only one was provided,so had to ask for another. Then waited ages for food, can understand why if they were busy but we were the only people there.
All in all this is a better hotel than lots of previous guests have indicated but needs a lot of work before it gets back to its previous high standard

A hotel that needs to acquaint itself with the concept “custom service” God bless the staff but the lack of training and are not being familiar with international guests. Check in was horrendous. We arrive at 5:30 after a long journey. I asked if I could pay the remained of my bill for the stay in the morning. NO I COULD NOT, the person behind the desk was rude and obnoxious. He was more occupied with a guest that was of African background, and very rude to the guest. Afterwards I was questioned about my connection with this African looking person. I of course regretted paying the remade of my bill. The most sensible action would have been to find another hotel, as my stay was marked by check inn.
The rooms are ok, a dirty sofa which no one with any sense would sit in. The bathroom had a shower that had a mind of its own. Breakfast was very very basic, but ok.
I was told by the obnoxious check in person that room service was not available, maybe a language course is needed. Quite astounding not to understand the concept “room service “
The icing on the cake must be when I rang housekeeping and asked if they could iron my sari. The reply was. “Madam you have an iron and an ironing board in your room do it yourself”
A very basic and simple hotel that over charges for everything. I do not recommend this hotel. Will be staying at Sea Shells hotel next time in Goa

A good property, with pathetic service and poor hospitality. Though the quality of rooms was good, the major drawbacks were as under:

1. Telephone in the room was not working.
2. Uncourteous bell boys.
3. Poor quality of toileteries.
4. As the phone wasnt working even if water was required had to ring the hotel on cell phone, despite which d service was too delayed.
5. Room service avl only from 11 am to 11 pm, don't understand the concept of not giving room service upto 11 am.
6. Breakfast is served in cafe not in the Restaurant as shown in the pics.
7. Bathroom ceramics have worn out.
8. Mini bar was empty.
9. Only 2 x 500 ml bottles of drinking water provided free.
10. Recurring power failures, and the generator takes almost 2 mins to startup.

Is there a way to rate this hotel 0 on 5? On paper, it had a pool, gym, good room size etc., but that’s where the good part ends. The worst part was cleanliness - I can fill bags of dust by just sweeping off the bathroom, furniture and balcony; Fungus on the curtain in the bathroom; no pool towels. Secondly, housekeeping was pathetic e.g. just to get the towel for the room, we have to wait for 30 mins and in fact, literally had to go to the reception to ask and finally, we got the pool towel for the bathroom. No refilling of something as small as like coffee pouches during our stay of 3 nights and we had 5 rooms. In nutshell, I would highly recommend to change your travel dates if this is the only hotel available assuming you don’t want to ruin your trip.

Horrible hotel with even worse services. We were made to wait at the reception a long time to check in. After that, we dragged our own luggage to our room. We had booked a junior suite, but it might just be the worst room I have ever seen. Completely cramped with twin queen beds and a sofa. The bathtub looks more like a washbasin. Dirty linen was piled up outside our room. We hated the room and its approach so much that we in fact downgraded to a superior deluxe because it had a better look. We were, of course, not compensated for the price difference. We had booked the hotel for 4N. We wanted to check out on day 1 itself, but since the hotel very rudely refused to issue a refund, we chose to stay for 3N. Again, we were not refunded for the last day that we chose to stay at a different hotel. Dirty dishes were piled in the corridor in front of our new room for two days. The owner/manager is extremely rude and the staff are least interested in serving their guests. DO NOT book this hotel at any cost. They call themselves an "upscale 4-star property with an infinity pool". Honestly, I've seen better 2-star properties. While checking out, they didn't even bother to ask how our stay was and why we're checking out a day early. I gave them my feedback anyway and told them we would be posting a very bad review. They were least concerned.

I stayed in this hotel in 2018 and citing a mishap of booking a shady hotel through booking.com end moment I thought of going back to my place. I got a negotiated price as what the hotel claims but the staff especially the on duty manager is careless and good for nothing to all your problems he will just smile and not do anything about it. Major issue is the room ACs which conk of midnight and when you complaint the hotel says we did not do it on purpose. Breakfast is pathetic and not upto the standards only edible and tasty thing is poha and omelettes. Breakfast spread is the same on all days. Major issue is the bathrooms whichever room you take when one take sa shower the water comes out from the shower area to the main bathroom. To all the agony I had to face on first night with Acs not functional despite of paying the charges as accordance to the hotel standards and complaining the right time the manager did nothing to compensate or refund part payment.

3 things that's an advantage of this place is infinity pool, bazar cafe which serves yumlicious food, location of the hotel which is on main road and walkable distance from Candolim beach and all necessities at a walking distance, Bike shops just across the hotel back road.

Over all if you are on a budget trip one can consider this place. However this place is no longer a 4 star accommodation

Please take my advice and do not stay here, I was so disgusted and upset. Tui and this hotel deserve zero stars! Tui brochure photos are nothing like the reality of this hotel. The whole hotel is disgusting, filthy dirty, falling into disrepair. All complaints were acknowledged but very little was done to clean at any standard. (Apart from the bedding was changed)
On entering the room, immediately it looked dirty and grubby, floors looked dusty and dirty, rubbish-cigarette butt, sweet wrapper and dirt under the bed. Bedding mattress and pillows were heavily stained with goodness know what. Bathroom, mirrors dirty, black mould around the shower. Furniture had sticky coffee cup marks, fridge was filthy, lamp was filthy, doors were filthy. Balcony filthy, dirty furniture.
The whole hotel was unhygienic and dirty. Reception area is filthy, dusty and dirty, sofas look filthy dirty. The pool had a black grimy ring around it, the water turned green on the day before we left. Lots of broken tiles and electrical wires. Breakfast room is dusty and dirty, as were the toaster/milk jug etc.
Staff were pleasant but very lacklust.
Tui rep did acknowledge our complaints but was very ineffective. Other than giving us a free trip and a very small cash compensation.
All we wanted was a nice holiday not all this disappointment and hassle.
