We visited as two friends, we stayed in the luxury cottage option for 3 nights.

Firstly, the luxury cottage very much lived up to its name. It was spacious, immaculate, with stunning views & a huge terrace. Yet felt totally secluded & private. They provided everything you could ask for in the room, including a selection of free teas & coffee, dressing gown, beach bag you could borrow to take stuff down to the beach, sun hats you could borrow, minibar, reading material, home made coconut shampoos & soaps, as well as a wonderful face mask. They also provided yoga mats in the room, so we did some yoga on our terrace. Also worth noting, the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever stayed in. Please see some photos of the terrace and the book shelf with yoga mats attached.

The grounds of the hotel are stunning, we were taken on a cliff top sunset walk, which ended with cocktails & a snack while watching the sun go own. The beach is pristine & there are staff on hand to set up sun umbrellas and bring you water when you want it.

Then the food... it was all so fresh, tasty & there was so much of it. Every breakfast included 3 courses plus extras, example being - a fresh homemade juice, fruit salad, cheese & crackers, home made granola bar, then a choice of eggs (masala omelette is a must try!), pancakes and also an Indian option (dosa for example). Please see some examples attached & the menu board.

The restaurant is on top of the hill & you enjoy your breakfast while looking out over the palm trees & sea. Dinner is served within the grounds over candle light, so I could not photograph it. But again all superb food, Indian curries of fish for example, dhal & freshly cooked vegetables accompanied by rice & freshly baked roti. If Cabo Serai was a restaurant, you would visit just for the food!

And finally that staff, they went above and beyond the whole time we were there. They welcome you with a golf buggy to pick you up at the gates & drive you up to your room with your luggage, you are given a fresh juice & cold towel. They were always on hand to assist with any question or request. Little touches such as being given a home made ice lolly as you arrive back from the beach were wonderful. Bawan the manager was fantastic & the whole place is run very well.

Improvements were being made at the point of our stay, hopefully I will return again in the future once they have finished building the yoga deck & swimming pool.

It would be an idicllic place to go on honey moon.

1. Had a wonderful experience here ! Cabo serai was the best and one of the most surreal experiences I've had in a long time. It was a great getaway place, a perfect paradise for people who love mountains and beaches at the same time. We stayed at a tent with the ocean view which was absolutely stunning. Woke up to it every day and it was totally worth it. The property was absolutely stunning and huge. Everything was well taken care of. We were escorted by a small buggy to our way up the tent. Every little corner of this place was so beautiful and well made. The staff was so curtious and kind. Pawan, helped us with everything and took care of everything we wanted. We were taken to a sunset spot, the staff had arranged some snacks and drinks there which was a one of a kind experience. Along with it the meals we had everyday were so well prepared and cooked to perfection. Something I still crave. Little things were taken care of , we had a little copper vessel of water that had purified fresh stream water which was something really nice. They had recycled tissues and they also gave us some body and face masks which was really sweet. This place made us feel very special and I highly recommend you all to visit here. It's absolutely amazing and worth the experience. Looking forward to be here again :)

There are few places of stay which make you feel welcome & well looked after!!
This was one of them....right from the booking process with Mamata & Aditya who were very helpful & prompt, to Mr.Pawan Kumar & his staff of Jitendra, anil,Dheeraj at the resort were so professional in their hospitality that it made our stay so memorable.
Also at this time utmost care to sanitisation & precautions taken.
The cottages are luxurious & spacious to stay in.excellent housekeeping services, small details looked after, requests accommodated.
Liked d little ritual of a natural body scrub provided in the room every evening in small jars with natural coconut shell as a cup!
Copper vessel & glasses for filtered drinking water!A French press for coffee.

Each cottage has a fantastic view of the sea,the property is accessed through a small parking area, descending some 85 steps, then a small walk across a bridge & golf carts waiting to take you upto d property. The surroundings are completely lush green cover of trees & shrubs with a few hundred coconut trees.
The beach is accessible through a small gate where beach towels & water is provided.

The food is delicious & so fresh..all freshly cooked & healthy...the breakfast was refreshing with a different choice everyday.

A nature trail through to the other side with d most fantastic 360 view of the sea.
A sundowner deck with a beautiful sunset as backdrop!!
The beautiful white sand beach with the cabo de rama fort in the background & a small river flowing into the sea through the property.

Yes would definitely would love to go back!!!!

Cabo Serai is a hidden gem, situated at Cab Da Rama, away from the hustle and bustle of Goa. This property is eco conscious and doing every bit to avoid plastic waste and single use of plastic. We stayed three nights, two of them were in the luxury tent and one night at the cottage. The luxury tents are very beautiful with excellent furniture and small thoughtful details. The bathroom was very pretty as well with good shower pressure and hot + cold water. They also placed coconut oil, rose water and gram flour to make natural scrubs for yourself. Every thing was very though through. The cottage is beautiful too, very comfortable and good furniture. Both luxury tent as well as cottage has a variety of tea and coffee kept in the rooms for the guest to use. The views from both cottage as well as Luxury tent is spectacular! This property is in the wilderness so be prepared to spot snakes, lizards besides gorgeous birds. Food is very good and very reasonably priced. Special mention to Nitin their reservation manager who is very helpful, Pawan the property manager and Ravindra from the hotel staff. They are excellent.

In case you are looking for a solitary, clean beach away from the shack madness book this place. You won't regret it

A unique experience in Goa, Cabo Serai offers luxury tents in a boutique hotel environment. The views are stunning, whether you're looking out to the cape of Cabo da Rama fort and the vast ocean or admiring the clear view of the stars and the moon at night. You can listen to the sound of the waves from the wooded balcony, sprawled on a long chair designed with understated elegance.

I loved not needing to carry around room keys so I could walk down to yoga down on the deck by the beach unburdened. The sunset experience at the top deck was lovely, with servings of a Kokum drink, sandwiches and a quinoa salad. The breakfasts were brilliant too with freshly squeezed juice, wonderful coffee, unusual grains in pancakes and 'chaffles' which is a kind of healthy tasty waffle, eggs, smoothies, and more.

The beach is nice and empty and the Sivananda hatha yoga was good exercise early morning. The approach can be a bit of a bumpy ride along with the buggy that takes you uphill but once you're there, you don't want to leave in a hurry.

If you want to experience unfiltered beauty of the most amazing Goan beach i.e. Cabo De Rama, Cabo Serai is the best property for you. Travel HQ arranged my stay at this boutique hotel and I loved the timeless wood interiors of the hill-top rooms, the exquisite location with wide ocean-view, the delectable food, the greenery and natural ambience. The rooms and dining area are clean, comfortable and very aesthetic. You will fully relax here and also fall in love with the private little waterfalls this property has. It's worth every penny spent and more. It's raw and magical! Highly recommend it for a stay with your friends, family or partner.

This is a beautiful oasis in the middle of gorgeous seas. Cabo Serai was surreal and just what we needed to get away from it all. Right from the welcome with coconut water freshly cut from their own hundreds of coconut trees, to the beautifully simple and flavourful meals, to the insanely beautiful and exceptionally large rooms with tons of seating to enjoy the ocean views, to the farewell with virgin coconut oil.

Cabo Serai leaves no stone unturned to ensure you have a good holiday. They heard us wishing our friends a happy anniversary and surprised them with a cake!

A super special mention of the candlelit dinner on the beach - it is an experience I would recommend to all guests to do! It was magical, and something I can tick off with satisfaction from my want to do in life list!

The staff is so sweet and calm and peaceful, and a special mention of Mr. Pawan and of Trupti for making sure that we had the most incredible stay in Goa.

We will be back, and hopefully very soon!

We loved everything about Cabo Serai - how often can you say after 5 days in the same place that it was PERFECT ! You want to come back because you have not had the time to do it all.

Cabo Serai has been unique for us. The rooms which I love to call our tree houses (very luxurious tree houses indeed) were beautiful, completely made out of wood, very well decorated with a unique view offered us the perfect cocoon. We've enjoyed the in house made soaps, especially the face soap (never had such a nice skin - please share with us the recipe).
Excellent breakfast and menu in general. After 4 days it might get a little boring but we tried most of the items on the menu and always enjoyed ourselves. We regretted eating out, food at Cabo was the best we had in the surroundings.

About SPECIAL EXPERIENCES, we celebrated my 30th birthday there and my partner, the hotel manager and staff perfectly executed two amazing dining experiences for us. One romantic candle diner at the beach and one apéro (drinks and snacks) on the top of the hill by the cliff where we enjoyed our last apéro sunset.

By the way, the shack by the beach does great macro fish - must try.

We loved it all !

Thank you !

(Anand & Marine)

Garima & I intended to just take a look at Cabo and ended up spot-booking a night and further extending it by another night! We were that blown away!! The walk through the coco trees and the little brook create the perfect build up for what awaits you at the top! Incredible views of the sea, forest & mangroves all in one. The entire space is very tastefully designed, letting nature all around shine. We were both excited & nervous about staying in a tent but it was super comfortable & secure. Most of our time was spent chilling on the deck for the view.
Hospitality was top notch by Pawan & his team - not intrusive but always there. Food was also exceptional, mindfully prepared with local fresh ingredients.
The guided walk through the forest is a must do to explore the area.
We were lucky to meet Trupti & have a lovely conversation with. She runs the place with so much passion & warmth, which actually is the true star of this unique 5-star experience.
As much as we want to keep this place a secret, we can’t help express our heartfelt thanks to the Cabo team for what turned out to be our best, most rejuvenating weekend in Goa!

Our stay at Cabo Serai was a happy one from start to finish. The cottages are large and the massive balcony area is the perfect place to relax and watch the sun set. Wi-Fi is provided through 4G dongles but these are spotty at best. Come mentally prepared to detach.

The food at the hotel ranged from good to excellent. Our only complaint could be the predominance of Indian cuisine. After seeing the pictures online we maybe expected more continental dishes. The spread during valentines day was exceptional (seriously the Tuna biryani was just amazing). Having menus with our names on it was a nice touch.

The beach is relatively private, expect a lot of visitors over the weekend though. It might be out of the hotels hands but our only complaint would be related to the same. Groups of people arrive at the beach with alcohol and food and then leave a mess. Again this is not the hotels fault but I wish there was a way to keep the beach and stream clean...

There is a pool under construction and I think that would be a great addition to an already fantastic experience.

Thank you for a wonderful stay, there really isn't a lot missing @Cabo Serai. This is a safe bet!

PS: The hotel does not serve meat. Sea food yes, but no meat. This wasn't a problem for us but just letting people know!

Dear Samm2211, Thank you for taking time to review Cabo Serai in such detail. Your feedback is very helpful and appreciated. We have since added several continental items to the menu to enhance the variety. We also have team members who are hired only to clean the beach and stream and surrounding areas. Unfortunately this is a challenge we are constantly working towards overcoming by dialogue with local authorities. There has been a big reduction in the numbers on weekends as certain areas are now cordoned off. Thank you once agian for all your feedback. My team and I look forward to welcoming you back soon.
