We had a wonderful stay at Cabo Serai. Here is a list of pros and cons that I hope readers will find useful: Pros: 1) Staff are extremely polite, helpful, and courteous - We appreciated the fact that they aren’t noisy or loud in the sense that they are mindful that their actions/voices reflect the serene nature of the property. 2) Away from the noise and crowd - If you are looking for a relaxed holiday, this is a place to be as you won’t be disturbed by traffic or loud music from the party scenes in Goa. 3) Lush green surroundings - The property is surrounded by trees, plants, and flowers. You can even walk around the coconut grove which is beside the beach and a small creek. A small adventure. 4) Easy access to the beach - If you can, take a walk down to the beach which takes about 5 minutes. The resort even provides a buggy if you need transport. Be ready to climb uphill incase you choose to walk back to the resort. The beach is clean and not too crowded when you compare it to other Indian beaches. However, dont be surprised to see many items left around (its a shame that people just can’t throw away their own trash). For women who are conscious of wearing swimsuits out in public, go to the beach in the morning. And yes, you can swim in the sea! 5) Healthy eating - We quite enjoyed the food out there. It wasn't too oily or spicy. A mix of Indian and Continental (veg+non-veg). Since there aren’t too many guests around, they have a set menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We observed guests place an order for some common dishes as well (chilli chicken etc). Please dont go there expecting a lavish spread. They also provide some yummy-healthy soups/ juices with each meal. Non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages are available as well. We didn’t try the food from the 2-3 shacks nearby however you'll need to be ready to walk quite a bit to access these. 6) Clean cottages/ tents – we got an upgrade for the first night so we experienced staying at a cottage as well. Both types of accommodation had all the main amenities. The view is lovely! All their cottages and tents come with a sea-facing view and a balcony. If you want to have that luxurious feel, book a cottage – it’s massive! Cons No complaints as such :) Perhaps the management team has their own reasons however would like to suggest that during breakfast/ lunch/ dinner, some soft instrumental music could be played (although we did love the sound of the waves). It would be great if the resort provided more sea-food/ Goan cuisine options Note: If you are staying at the property, be ready to encounter monkeys, chameleons, and insects you’ve never seen! Also, although buggies are available on request, you might need to walk around a bit as the cottages/ tents are based on/ around slopes. Check with the resort in advance regarding the gender of the masseuse in case that usually impacts your decision to get a massage.

This is a beautiful oasis in the middle of gorgeous seas. Cabo Serai was surreal and just what we needed to get away from it all. Right from the welcome with coconut water freshly cut from their own hundreds of coconut trees, to the beautifully simple and flavourful meals, to the insanely beautiful and exceptionally large rooms with tons of seating to enjoy the ocean views, to the farewell with virgin coconut oil. Cabo Serai leaves no stone unturned to ensure you have a good holiday. They heard us wishing our friends a happy anniversary and surprised them with a cake! A super special mention of the candlelit dinner on the beach - it is an experience I would recommend to all guests to do! It was magical, and something I can tick off with satisfaction from my want to do in life list! The staff is so sweet and calm and peaceful, and a special mention of Mr. Pawan and of Trupti for making sure that we had the most incredible stay in Goa. We will be back, and hopefully very soon!

We were at this resort along with kids for 3 nights. Had booked a luxury tent but were upgraded to cottage on arrival. The cottage is very beautiful and comfortable. Beach is very near , also there is a lagoon/ fresh water stream very close to beach. The beach and lagoon is almost like a private property as very less crowd. Apart from that there is trekking opportunity. Staff are courteous . We enjoyed the stay. I have given 4 star because of food. Food options are limited but taste and quality wise its ok. Alcohol is costly . There are two restaurants nearby the resort i.e cape goa and red earth crab. Cape goa is better restaurant. Overall would visit again .
