Heavenly in one word. Off the beaten track … greenery all around and the beach just a stones throw away. Nature at its best. Beautiful wooden cottages with wrap around balconies and spectacular views. You can lie in bed and enjoy the sunset!! Private romantic moonlit dinners in the beach or nice meals cooked by the chef to your request. They go the extra mile to make it special. Pet friendly and ECO friendly in the truest sense of with word. Trupti who runs the place is always available to take care of your smallest request. Access to the resort which is perched on a hilltop is by buggies. The very same buggies also take to to the beach when needed. Nice sized pool. Food choices however are restricted and a la carte for meals (no buffets) . Food was quite good and chef was very receptive to our needs. It was a speaking occasion and they made it extra special. Thanks a ton guys. Unhesitatingly recommend!!

My visit today was the most disappointing hospitality experience I’ve ever had, and totally opposed to any experience I’ve had anywhere in Goa before in regards to warmth and friendliness. I found the staff at Cabo Serai cold to the point of rude, and myself and my partner felt a total inconvenience to them. We had to ask for tiny bits of bread when other people in the restaurant seemed to get a plentiful supply. A quite beautiful setting, but everything else was terrible, including the fresh, but really bland food. Yours very disappointed. Richard

Response from Trupti Wesley, General Manager at Cabo Serai

Dear richard w, I thank you for taking the time to review Cabo Serai. I am sorry that your experience at Cabo Serai was not upto your expectations. After investigating, I have learnt that couple of the staff who served you, were local from the nearby village, and are not very proficient in English. This may have been a reason you felt they were cold as they may have shown some hesitation in communicating effectively. I assure you the staff's intention was not to be hostile or cold but they were probably just hesitant. Having said that, this is no excuse for the service you received. At Cabo Serai, we aim at providing our guests with highest levels of service and feedback like yours helps us to do that effectively by improving. I am grateful for your feedback and hope that you can treat this incident in isolation and return for the true Cabo experience. I look forward to hosting you on your future visit. Our contact details are provided on our website and on all our social media pages. Look forward to hearing from you. Best, Trupti Wesley

We arranged to go for lunch at the restaurant as day guests. Beautiful setting but what I can only describe as a hostile reception. Very bizarre. Perhaps a same sex couple don’t deserve any effort in terms of hospitality? We asked for some bread and were given two squares the size of a thumb to share. We honestly felt like an inconvenience to the staff in the restaurant, and they stared at us relentlessly during our uneasy 1 hour lunch until we asked for the bill. Which then took 15 minutes to arrive so they took the opportunity to stare a bit longer. Wouldn’t recommend it anyone based on our experience.

Response from Trupti Wesley, General Manager at Cabo Serai
Responded 3 May 2023
Dear stephen m, Thank you for reviewing Cabo Serai. I am terribly disappointed to learn of your experience. I apologize that you felt unwelcome by our staff. I would like to say that many of the staff at Cabo Serai are hired from the local villages and are not very proficient in the English language. Whilst most of them are in areas where they do not directly interact with guests, a few staff who have shown initiative in speaking with guests, have been given a chance at working in the restaurant. I can assure you they were only hesitant and did not intend to be hostile. We receive many guests who are same sex couples and have even hosted several proposals and weddings for many same sex couples so this certainly is not any reason for the service you received. I hope you can treat this incident as a one off and give us another chance to offer you the hospitality experience we are known for. I look forward to hearing from you and seeing you again at Cabo Serai. Best, Trupti Wesley

This place is wonderful. From the moment you arrive and take a steep path down to the beach (your luggage being carried of course) walk across the pristine beach (past a great beach bar) and get into a buggy in a coconut grove to head up the hill, you are transported to barefoot luxury. The hut rooms are huge and so well-designed, really beautiful. If you’re not watching the sun go down on your balcony or the monkeys chasing around in the trees, you’ll be beside their NEW POOL or strolling down to the beach for a dip in the Arabian Sea. The staff are generally delightful and helpful - especially to those of us who were feeling slightly tender in the tummy region! The food was always good and sometimes brilliant. Can’t recommend this place highly enough for a get-away.

Luxury cottage called Cassai was equipped with all things necessary and still managed to remain entirely eco friendly. Tucked away at a height the resort has only a dozen rooms. The beach below seems almost like a private one unlike most other commercial ones. Amazing staff willing to fulfil even the smallest request without any questions asked is a example of the highest standards of hospitality. Only food options are few as they offer a limited menu during lunch and dinner. This is however something that fades in comparison to the tranquility of the overall experience.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful setting. Possibly the best and most secluded beach in the country. Great rooms and luxury tents. Wonderful spots to view the sunset from atop a cliff or the restaurant. Older people or those with mobility issues should be aware the approach to the hotel requires a significant walk down a steep hill.

What a beautiful property. My favourite in Goa so far. Wonderful for couple and people searching for a digital detox. Beautiful yoga shala and rooms. Healthy, organic food which is also sumptuous. I will revisit Cabo Serai again and again.

This was one of the best resorts we have stayed in. The rooms were so nice n fresh with a view to die for. There was everything you needed for the stay in the room. The food was deliciously healthy and such a variety too. The service and staff were so welcoming we didn't want to leave. And the beach candlelight dinner was just the icing on the cake. I felt as though i was on my 2nd honeymoon. Wow!!!

I visited this stunning eco friendly property in September with my very close friends. Caboserai is a destination in itself. Write from nature walks to stunning dining experiences to delicious freshly cooked meals with fresh produce from their kitchen garden everything blew our mind. The staff is particularly spectacular and the experience was mind blowing . We came back home rejuvenated, well rested and relaxed. If there’s one place I recommend strongly for a calm getaway amidst nature then it has to Cabo Serai in South Goa. Nothing absolutely nothing come closer to the magic that this place is!
