One of the old hotel in Chandigarh near bus stand. Furniture & Washrooms are old, bed sheets need to be stain free and should be replaced with new bed sheets after a time. Rooms size are adequate. Food is average.

Centrally located hotel in Chandigarh, I stayed in this hotel for one night recently in transit to catch an early morning flight. Facilities are moderately good. However would do well with modernisation. Food at its restaurant at dinner was good.

Read a lot of reviews here about the hotel some good some bad. But after a lot of look around decided to go to City heart premium and my decision was rite. Nice hotel to stay at nice restraunt but the location is the best part. Everything is nearby. So was very easy to go to the main attractions of the city. I had a pleasant stay.I would recommend it to my friends.

I visited Chandigarh with 4 other friends on a holiday trip and was trapped into booking this hotel mentioning that’s it’s centrally located. Though the location, sector 17 is definitely great, this hotel needs to be avoided at all costs.
Once you enter, it’s a gloomy looking place with the reception on the first floor. We were “upgraded” to their suite rooms but the rooms haven’t been renovated since decades. There was barely any lights in the room. The round bed is impractical, bathrooms leaked and wash basin was dislocated from it mounting. There was hot water available 24 hrs. The towels provided seemed to be in use since a decade and carried a stench.
The worst part was the “buffet” breakfast which was included for a cost almost equal to the room rent. The restaurant would call every morning and asked us to come and have breakfast immediately else we might not get any. There wasn’t any buffet since we were the only ones who fell to the crap of “breakfast included”. Three items on the menu were offered which were of poor quality. The parathas were hard and even butter toast wasn’t toasted well. The joined restaurant tables were at different heights making it inconvenient and the upholstery seemed dirty.
The reception guys were polite but this hotel can dampen your entire visit to the beautiful city. It needs immediate renovation and upheaval to justify the location.

My sincere suggestion to all fellow travelers who traveling to Chandigarh. Just avoid this hotel. It's the worst. I booked through my company account hence couldn't able to get refund and need to stay here. The rooms are bad, smelly with insects, smelly and dirty towels. The staff has absolutely no manner they can enter your room without knock. Also be ready to find hair in your breakfast here with no sorry or apology by staff.

Good hotel as the name says. The location is convenient to travel and well-connected. I am on a business purpose and I stayed in a Business Class suite, which is an amazing experience. I stayed in this hotel for two nights on my way from Shimla back to Delhi. My room was clean and spacious with a modern look although the bathroom was in need of a refurbish. Had a meal at the open air rooftop restaurant one evening which had pleasant surroundings and good food.

Last weekend I and my friends made a plan for exploring Chandigarh, the city of dreams, without any reservation and booking.
After a long drive we finally reach to Chandigarh, but we was so tired from the journey. We are not able to locate any hotel nearby. Then I ask my cousin who also resides here, gave me the address of Hotel City Heart with their contact, and luckily it was nearby to our spot.. We booked rooms on call, the staff was so cooperative..manages the reservation, also for our meal and all. It was lovely to see the welcome of ours..
The food was delicious, rooms was full of comfort, washrooms, each and everything was fab.
we really enjoyed the stay there. made our city roaming trip a wonderful one. Next time we will directly board in Hotel city Heart as we are now familiar with this hotel a lot...We will love to stay here again...

Location of the hotel is good but property is average with no view from the room. Breakfast is average and need lot of improvement in quality and variety of food they serve. Bathroom needs refurbishment. Rooms are spacious Overall average hotel for the value they charge.

The hotel staff is courteous and well mannered, the rooms are good and when I had visited with my wife there was a good many number of guests staying at the hotel. So, if your concern is with regards to security, I don't think there is anything to worry. Only, as I was advised, avoid stepping out once its dark outside, the immediate vicinity is said to be notorious & know for mugging and such.
