I stayed at many different places (including a 5 star hotel) in Southern India during my 3 week travel and Hyatt (hands down) is my favorite place to stay at! I loved it so much, I want to come back to Chandigarh to visit again so I can stay at the Hyatt. The breakfast manager towards the last few days of our stay had excellent service. He always greeted us, he pulled out our chairs for us and treated us with respect. A staff accidentally dropped glassware and it shattered next to us and he quickly moved us to a different table. He personally served us breakfast as we were at the buffet. The security guy who screened our bags was really good. He always opened the door for us and greeted us. Service was like a 5 star hotel. Even better than the taj coromandel in Chennai which we also stayed at. Drinks and food at Koyo Koyo were delicious! My sister loved the mocktails and the wines were good. We came back multiple times to dine here. Room service was great and they cleaned well and even provided petals and a basin to soak our feet one night. Checkout manager rahul provided excellent service. We were trying to order Uber to the airport and the Uber driver didn’t speak English and wanted to overcharge us. He spoke to the driver on the phone and related the info that the driver wanted to charge us extra so we decided we didn’t want to go with Uber. Rahul then proceeded to call a taxi for us and got us one for a reasonable price. He and his staff helped us with our luggage and gave us mini water bottles as we got into the car to leave.Thank you!
Some improvements - We only had our room requested to be cleaned twice during our week long stay and they did not replenish the toiletries even though we were running low. That would be something to improve on. The nice thing was we did call to request more and they brought us a tray of toiletries and tissues.
Breakfast options were very good and everything was tasty including the pastries. We requested omelettes and they were always cooked well. An improvement would be the coffee service. I understand most guests drink masala chai but I asked for coffee every morning and the service was very slow.
Overall, the stay was very pleasant and I can't wait to come back! :)

Our stay at the Hyatt, chosen for its modern appeal, started with a hopeful request for a room with a view, only to find ourselves overlooking a busy road and parking lot on the 5th floor. When we asked to change rooms for a better view, we were told none were available despite seeing a better option nearby. This disappointing start set the tone for our experience, challenging our expectations of a 5-star hotel.
Issues continued to unfold; the fridge faulty it was replaced in the morning, the cabinet where beverage and water is kept was broken the technicians repaired next morning and the TV malfunctioned at late and fixed again next morning . We requested few things from housekeeping they responded slowly, requiring multiple reminders. When we were going for breakfast we saw someone would have dropped food or puked near our door. We immediately complaint , an unpleasant experience and went unnoticed until we reported it in the morning , not sure if housekeeping or security makes rounds at night to check basics are done .
After sharing our frustrations with Monika, we were offered a room change, which we declined, opting to stay in room 524. It made us wonder if these problems were reserved for guests booking through third-party apps.
Despite these setbacks, the bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, and breakfast service was commendable. The entrance guards were consistently friendly.
Overall, while certain aspects of our stay fell short of expectations for a 5-star experience, the positive encounters with staff and comfort of the bed were highlights.

When I stayed at this hotel, I met Mr. Sony Seraj who was the cleaning staff in charge of our floor. I was very impressed with his service attitude. Every time I met him, he was smiling, friendly and always greeted me. His work is meticulous, both in terms of cleaning and organizing the rooms, and Sony is always quick to respond to our needs to ensure that our stay is perfect.
In addition, his professionalism and attention to detail was reassuring. Every time we enter a room, we can smell the fresh scent and see the cleanliness of the environment, which is attributed to Sony's hard work. Meeting such a dedicated staff has greatly improved our impression of the hotel. We hope that the hotel will have more good staff like Sony to provide better service to our customers. Thank you Sony Seraj for making our stay so pleasant and comfortable.

Things are nice and under control here. Rooms are comfortable with cosy beds, ample light control, on point AC and a properly done bathroom. What else does one need.
Swimming pool is too notch. Fitness centre enough for you to be having a proper session. Some equipment is lacking though, maybe because of space constraints.
Foods good, but nothing to rave about. I only had breakfast though on the 2 mornings I was there and the streaky bacon and the Mediterranean hummus spreads were very good
Very good hospitality with little touches which make life comfortable. Special mention to Leela at the breakfast for making sure that my blazer was in good shape by having it put on a stand on her own initiative.

Recently stayed at Hyatt and the 3 day stay became one of the memorable experience for us to cherish for a long time Its difficult to remember all the names but throughout our stay the entire hotel staff including the ones at reception,at the restaurent, the cleaning staff, the room service were all very welcoming and made us feel comfortable all throughout A special thanks for Shalu,Mamta,Sudip,Aayush for their hospitality Food was very tasty. We loved the special cutting chai, beautifully baked fresh croissants in the breakfast menu and the tandoori chicken curry in dinner Overall, we had an amazing stay and would love to return to Hyatt Centric when visiting Chandigarh again

Thank you for the lovely stay. Overall a nice stay with very pleasant staff. Only thing I would suggest is that when you’re doing in room dining , they ask in a couple of hours if you’d like the plates and all cleared. Downstairs dining was lovely. Cleaning staff did always ask if I needed something in the morning.
