We were received warmly by the staff and in particularly . Our stay was most enjoyable. Our room was very nice and city view room. The housekeeping staff did a remarkable job of keeping the room and bathroom spotless. We especially enjoyed the fluffy white towels special thanks housekeeping Floor Incharge Ashish and Atul Breakfast was generous in its variety and delicious to the taste buds. A stay at the jw Marriott Chandigarh is highly recommended.The property is outstanding and its every corner gives you a sense of uber luxury. I had an amazing experience at this property, and Chef Kamal deserves special recognition for his exceptional attention to my dietary restrictions. As someone who is strictly gluten-free, even the smallest amount of gluten can make me ill, but Chef Kamal went above and beyond to ensure my meals were completely safe. He took the time to understand all of my concerns and crafted delicious meals that met my needs. He was available all day and even went to the market to source fresh ingredients to make ragi dosa from scratch, as premade flour could be contaminated with gluten. Thanks to him, I had the best breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The guest services team was equally impressive. My co-traveler fell ill during our stay, and the staff was incredibly supportive, offering to pick up medication from the pharmacy. Nikita from guest services was especially helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.
The property itself is beautiful, with comfortable rooms, excellent food, and outstanding guest service. Based on this wonderful experience, I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip!

I had high expectations from JW Marriott, Chandigarh considering its renowned reputation for high standards, but unfortunately, my first experience was far from satisfactory.
When I checked in, the lights in my room kept going off for almost a minute repeatedly, happening 6-7 times, which was both inconvenient and frustrating.
The food experience was even worse. I ordered Paneer Lababdar, but it was undercooked and had a terrible taste. Additionally, I ordered Dal Tadka but received Dal Fry instead. To add to the disappointment, I requested a Masala Omelette but was served a plain omelette. Being very hungry, I had no choice but to eat it as it was, since getting it changed would take another 45 minutes. This level of service and quality in food is completely unacceptable, especially for a brand like JW Marriott Chandigarh.
However, I must commend the staff for their dedication and excellent service. The housekeeping team deserves special recognition for their great work. Even during my absence for meetings, they cleaned my room immaculately. A special mention goes to Mr. Mukul from housekeeping, who was very hardworking and always available whenever I needed assistance.
Additionally, I’d like to thank Ms. Chhavi and Ms. Deepsikha from the front office for their helpful nature and warm smiles. They truly know how to make guests feel welcome, and their hospitality is praiseworthy.
While the staff efforts were commendable, the overall experience fell short of the high standards I associate with JW Marriott. There is significant room for improvement, especially in food quality and service efficiency.

We visited this property on August this year while on our trip to Chandigarh.We visited it previously last year,which was a nice experience for us so gave it another try this time as well.I got in touch with Manish Chowdhury,the RDM,whom we met last time,to request for laundry assistance and a possible upgrade.He upgrades us to the luxury suite and included complimentary laundry for us on per day basis.The check in was fast and hassle free, and we were quickly escorted to our room and the luggage followed swiftly after.
The suite was vast and expansive,and was decorated with asiactic lily flowers(my wife's favourite)and all the amenities we had requested in advance to be preplaced in the room prior to our arrival was already waiting for us.Though,Mr Manish was not physically present in the property during our stay,he made all efforts to ensure we had a comfortable stay and well looked after.He shared the coordinates of Ishvi,front office manager who was in constant touch with us throughout our stay and was always available over call and WhatsApp.
Hk did a fabulous job of room cleaning and upkeep and was very fast and responsive.Everything I requested,arrived within few minutes at our doorstep.The hk manager also came to meet me once during the stay and all the staffs working there were nice and attentive.
Front office was very welcoming and friendly and greeted us each time we came back from outside into the hotel.As the laundry was a part of our package,we found it to be very precise and perfect.All garments were neatly folded and packed with cardboard before delivery,and very well presented.Very much appreciated.
They have a rooftop infinity pool available for guest convenience from which the entire city of Chandigarh was visible.There was also a Illish festival going on during dinner at their all day dining restaurant when we were staying.They were serving authetic bengali food items along with unlimited hilsa fish in a buffet at a very reasonable rate which was very much appreciated.They also have a club lounge typical with any Marriott which unfortunately we didn't have access to this time.As we recall from earlier stay,that was also nice with ample snack options.
We were also served free Rasmalai once during our stay with a thank you note from the management for staying with them.Mr Manish also accepted our request of serving a complimentary breakfast in the room at the day of our checkout as we had a early flight.We customised many items which was handled well by team.Our requests of detox water and overnight oats was very well prepared and we relished a good breakfast before our journey.
All in all it was a nice experience and we hope to be back soon.

room was comfortable. This is more of a business hotel than for kids. One request we had was to not give plastic bottles in our room and yet, they still gave plastic. The place also does not have many places where environment conscious guests can refill their own bottles

I stayed at this hotel for the first time for a few nights. My first impression was that it had a nice atmosphere, however, it was not lavish for the price I was paying. I was frustrated during my overall business trip at this hotel. For the first few days, the Internet was not working. When I asked to use a meeting room for one hour, after much confusion, I was told a ridiculous price for use. The front desk seemed to constantly be confused and could not answer my questions. To give you a sense of the price gouging that was happening, a cup of tea was $10, renting a car with a driver was over $250 when I could get a local service for $60 and the list goes on. As a business traveller from overseas, I was surprised at the attempted crazy rip off of pricing. On my last day, I asked for a late checkout, and I was told that there were no rooms available. However, the front desk was lying as there was availability when I checked online. I would not come back to this hotel for business or leisure as there are other places in Chandigarh with better value, fancier, atmosphere, and better service.

The housekeeping staff in Jw marriot Chandigarh is very efficient and they will maintain your room very well and fulfill all your needs. Special thanks to housekeeping Anamul he really clean and take care of our room as well as her guest. he really takes care her guest and communicate in a very nice way. i recommend her for being a good room attendant. This is a lovely hotel, some bad but mostly good. The staff are very nice and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are very nice and clean, house keeping staff are amazing. The Brewhouse bar has nice beer but you can’t sit in there because the volume of the music is not just loud it’s the most ridiculously loud music you’re going to hear in a bar. You look around and see every customer wincing as the DJ keeps on turning it up, the mangers have no idea what the customers want. Oh and another thing a can of Diet Coke in the lobby cafe will cost you 525 rupees 😀 not India prices that’s for sure.

Where do I begin? The entire hotel seems to have little regard for standard operating procedures (SOPs), making for an incredibly disappointing experience.
Front Office
We checked in at 11 PM after 18 hours of travel and work, only to be handed our room key without any basic information—no mention of breakfast timings, where it would be served, or any hotel amenities. To make matters worse, the minibar was locked, leaving us with no way to store personal food or drinks.
Housekeeping
A complete mess. The shower gel bottle was nearly empty, the bed had human hair on it—absolutely unhygienic and disgusting. The room’s AC was so noisy that I had to switch it off just to get some sleep.
Food & Beverage
The worst food I’ve ever had at a five-star hotel. The Tom Yum Chicken Soup had no chicken, and the Nasi Goreng (an Indonesian dish) was cold and unappetizing by the time I finished my soup since it wasn’t served in a hot case. Even the dessert was bland and completely lacking in flavor.
Restaurant (Breakfast Service)
Chaos from the moment I stepped in. The staff was disorganized and running around aimlessly. The table had no napkins, so I had to get them from another table. It took 30 minutes just to get a glass of water, as no bottled water was placed beforehand. The idlis at the buffet were cold—clearly not reheated before being put out—and the omelet was served with bread but no butter, a basic requirement.
To top it off, tea was served with just a sugar caddy—no thought put into service.
Final Verdict
This might just be my last stay at JW Marriott Chandigarh.
