Hotel Western Court is good hotels located at center of the city. Overall it is a good hotel. Food is also good. Some of the shopping centers are nearby, so that people can enjoy shopping. Rooms were good.

I read lots of great reviews about this place. Also, their website seemed promising. But the place is mediocre at best. It’s a wannabe place, which has done a good job of projecting itself as a plush and professional one.
Positives – rooms are big and interiors tastefully done. It’s not too far from the airport either. Negatives – several electrical fittings don’t work, a hot shower is a rarity (I was there in December, when it was freezing), and the staff is stingy when it comes to replacing soaps/shampoos. The heater in my room didn’t work and they couldn't fix it. Though the staff procured portable heaters, it didn’t help that they had open wires and emitted sparks.
Also, sleeping until late isn’t an option -- the icing on the cake – everyday in the morning, the staff calls to remind you that the ‘complimentary’ breakfast is on until 10 AM only :)
This place needs to do significantly more to enhance its appeal!

the most non cooperating hotel i ever stay, when i check in manager quote and commit 30% discount, but at the time of check out he refuse and start arguing & denying that he commit only 20%,, mater is not of 10 % but the thing is one should loyal to the customer, i never suggest any one to stay in this hotel no special facilities as such the tariff is high bt accordingly services ... hopeless,, even they charge for water bottle one bottle for one day for 2 pax,, loosers,,

Staff: Rude front staff, doesn’t know how to speak to guest, bad service
Rooms: not clean, not even bottled water was kept, TV was not working ( staff came after calling 2 times and took 1 hour to repair that)
Rooms are very unclean, staff is rude, unwelcoming front office person and very rude. Dirty and smelling rooms, poor amenities and facilities. Unconcerned staff. Won't recommend to anyone.. Lots of better option at nearby locations at almost same cost.

It is a very once upon a time place. In the sense it MIGHT have been much better at some point of time but those times are well past. There is a very strong case for complete renovations here.
Upon arrival I was told that since the room category I booked is not available I have been upgraded to a SUITE room. But by the end of it, I strongly felt that it was probably a downgrade.
Reasons - 1. There are no charging points by the bed side. 2. I was advised against using the bath tub 3. The towel in the rack had a big hole in it due to excessive wear and tear. (see photo) 4. The entry door won’t open with the electronic key, the front desk had to come with metal master key every time I had to enter.

Amazing place, wonderful hospitality and amazing food..
We had hosted an engagement function at The Western Court on the 16th of February,2021. The place served us with everything that was far beyond excellence.. from decoration to food to staff hospitality, everything was worth being appreciated for.. Thanks to Mr. Vinayak (Manager), Miss Manpreet (team decoration), the caterers and the hotel staff that was available at the venue that day.

We booked 4 rooms for our friends for multiple nights who came for some family function. The Rooms were neat & clean & staff was really very helpful. Hotel Mgr. Mr. Rajender Sahni was of great help during our guest's stay. All our guests were Happy. Even we had to cancel 1 room booking at the last moment. Mr. Sahani arranged for the Full refund . We really appreciate this gesture.

Stay for just one night & it was nice stay at the hotel. Co-operative staff at front desk and at restaurant. Room service was also good. Had breakfast at the restaurant, food was good. Nice ambience every where.

Stayed in the hotel with my husband and kids. As my husband had to attend a meeting he left early leaving me and my kids back in the hotel. At the breakfast table a steward and the front door guard made me and my 9 year old daughter very uncomfortable as all throughout they both kept staring at us which was very intimidating. When I complained to the manager about this he was least bothered and rather than being apologetic he tried defending his staff.... Later in the evening we spoke to the owner who seemed to be convinced but took no action and guaranteed us the best of services. Finally we left the next day and when my husband asked for the bill we were handed over the bill with the charges of extra bed which we were promised were not chargeable... I still have the slips with me which says complimentary roll over bed... Not to be charged. We have never encountered a more rigid and impolite hotel management who put greed and lechery ahead of customer satisfaction... This hotel is a disgrace to such a beautiful city. Never ever stay in this hotel if you are travelling in a family or women travellers.

Hotel Western Court is one of the best places to stay in Chandigarh. The staff is very courteous and helpful. Food is amazing especially Veg food. Location of the hotel is very convenient and approachable.
