Patna is a challenging city for those of us who are used some level of order. This hotel is an oasis amidst the chaos! While this is potentially the most buzzing hotel with multiple weddings being hosted at the venue and high security due to top officials visiting at these events, the hotel made sure there’s complete quiet sharp at 10.30pm. The highlight is definitely their amazing food! I’m a health food consultant in the US and I have to say the executive chef, Chef Brajesh, is world class. Must try their local Bihar food that he prepares -its got flavors, textures and deliciousness that’s a must try while in Patna whether you stay here or not. The buffet spread satisfies any pallet and is very reasonable. Hotel staff is very courteous and helpful. Tips are a must. The hospitality was great overall. Rooms are very clean and well designed.

Very nice hotel which has been a mainstay in Patna for decades. Particularly impressive is that in this long time they have continued to maintain consistently high standards. The location is superb, there is an Airtel store attached to it along with a hair salon, an ATM, and a BIBA boutique. I found the Airtel store handy and was able to get a SIM card in 30 min. I paid $ 3.50 for 1.5 GB of days daily and unlimited calls and texts for 30 days. wow. Rooms are large, mine had a king bed, table and chair, single sofa, and cupboard and mini fridge. Water, tea, coffee, and mango juice were provided and refilled as needed. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom was comfortable sized, not huge, and had good water pressure in the shower and had various toiletries. The food here was outstanding and I had their daily breakfast and room service on several occasions. I’ll venture to say their food was some of the best I have had in India. Both their Indian food and non Indian were excellent and is something that is hard to do - but they have this down. Mr. Sanjeev at breakfast was always smiling and attentive, Mr. Subham at reception was efficient at both check in and check out, and !r. Dineshwar in housekeeping was ever ready to help. If in Patna, then this is the place to stay.

No ammenities in the room, No slipper, No shaving item, no toothbrush paste. For every item I had to ask reception, although they provided, but upon asking

Stayed at Maurya chamber yesterday and was suppose to stay for 2 days, but I cut short my trip for the room was so tiny with a bed that was TINY and not at all comfy. The in room dining that was suppose to be the best in town, even while ordering food at 8:30 and getting delivered at 9:30, it was cold as hell. Even after giving instructions to the guys for not making the tea too strong, I was served in room and on breakfast table was way too strong and gave me severe acid problem. Also, the room when I entered didnt even have mineral water bottle. The complimentary breakfast was also not at all good. Utterly disappointed.

If u r business traveler and need to use WiFi, avoid this hotel, wifi never works, staff also are helpless at this. Reception not able to solve the issue, I can understand they are not technically advanced, except the one in night shift, at at 1.45am in the morning , by hook or by trook he solved the issue. And also assured that if WiFi fails, he will leave his phone for me to use hot spot I stayed in the first week of July, I keep on coming to Patna

Maurya Patna, There are a very few places that makes me feel like a "home away from home" and Hotel Maurya Patna sure made me feel special with a homely touch. I stayed in Room-416 and even though at the very 1st glance on entering the room, the room felt a bit dull due to the colour tones/colour combinations used for the upholstery, I quickly settled in after the lovely road side (Gandhi Maidan) view from my room's window. For me, it is always nice to see the hustle and bustle of an active city from my room. My stay was comfortable in Room with clean interiors and minimalistic feel. Special mention goes to the quality of food here at Hotel Maurya Patna, the food is of the highest quality and portion size is satisfyingly good. Special thanks to Mr Girish ji and Mr. Sanjeev for always taking extra care.

While being the oldest luxury spot in Patna, this hotel is the comfiest when it comes to their food, quality of linen, and most importantly their staff
The kitchen staff is lovely - the chefs so kind and supportive with allergy concerns in addition to being brilliant at his forte - feeing people with love
The team is so attentive and warm - everyone on board. Special thank you for Mr Rahul, Ms Swati Singh for taking such good care of us and making our trip so lovely

Pathetic Hotel, inexperienced management, lack of managerial skills in almost every employee except some, some employees are extremely talented, they are the assets of the hotel. I will not recommend this hotel to any one, if wifi is concerned. WiFi never never never works For every amenities you have to ask like, slipper, water, shaving kit, dental kit. They don't keep it in the room. For room to room dialing you will have to go through reception. Weird hotel. And for all this , I asked reception, they have very complicated answers, . I asked this in the night duty manager , and he had elaborated me the entire reason, that was absolutely satisfactory, I asked him, he should be in day time, he just smiled. I m still confused, management should apraise their employees. The good ones should come into action
