Our favorite goto Restos for snacks, buffets, indianized pizzas and mouth watering deserts.
They have 2 Floors of rooms for stays and multi floored themed Restos, South Indian, North Indian, Chinese Cuisines & a Csfe/Eatmor.
Must Visit them for the Midnight Buffet and Biryani.

Comfortable room - poor maintenance. Poor service. No Room Service. Tea pots are there without sufficient tea sachets, sugar etc. Room is cosy, well furnished. Toilets can be better maintained. Lots of scope for improvement

Appalling experience at this hotel. We had a paid booking from 31st of july 2022 to 2nd aug 2022. We had requested early checkin and also confirmed by the hotel staff a day prior that early checking is possible with an additional charges, which we agreed to pay, but denied early checking upon arrival. The guy at the reception is perhaps the most inefficient, unprofessional hospitality staff I have ever came across in my diverse travel experience. He did not even acknowledge our present, did not even offer a seat. Totally closed off and not at all communicative. The numbers that were shared with us by the booking partner makemytrip were all switched off or non responsive. We choose this hotel for its closeness to the location we were visiting but ended up having worst experience on our life, being exhausted from sleepless night due to an early morning flight and being stranded at banjara hills trying to call to check availability of nearby hotels was a sheer nightmare.

The hotel is situated on road no. 12 at Banjara hills. The food is good , try their chola bhatura which is to die for. The rooms gives you a fresh feel. Staff are very friendly and courteous. They also have chaat counter which is just outside the coffeeshop. They make the best jalebis in town. The hotel is very economical for a business tourist.

Booked the room for 2 nights but decided to move out the next morning. The hotel must have been pretty good when new but is going to seeds now.
1. The entrance to hotel and the popular eatery is common. Carrying your luggage, you have to make your way through the large crowd waiting for their turn at the table, to reach the lift.
2. The hotel is 3rd floor onwards. Once you reach there, you are greeted by an extremely ordinary reception area (actually a table and a few chairs)
3. The room is not bad. In fact, it is quite good when you apply the parameters of size, furniture etc. However, the TV is old CCTV. Worst is the toilet. Seems like it has never been cleaned. Exaggeration but definitely, the toilet had not seen a cleaner in days. Likewise, the sofa, futon etc all are dirty, having soiled and stained upholstery.
4. Breakfast - hardly any choice.

Reserved a room here through hotels.com. Payment was made in full.
At check-in at 11:20pm, I was informed that no rooms were available and no reservation had been received. I was asked to forward the email that I had received from the website to an email address provided by the receptionist - I did so.
Post receipt of this email, the receptionist now told me that they could only accept email confirmation from the website itself, and my forwarded email would not suffice. Please note it was by now midnight. He also now said that suite rooms were available at the rack rate.
I then called up the hotels.com call centre - they resent the confirmation to reservebanjara@ohris.com. Front desk told me that this email was not received by them. Hotels.com executive then spoke to the receptionist and confirmed my booking along with payment details, and offered to resend the confirmation to any other email id they could provide. Staff refused to budge, or share any other email id. It is now almost 1am and yet this persistence to cause inconvenience to a confirmed and paid guest - more so I had stayed at the hotel two nights earlier and all my details were in the system.
Finally, at 1:30am, with no place else to go, and experiencing the same stubborn attitude from the reception in the middle of the night, I agreed to a suite room at price quoted by him - my check out was at 9am the next day.
Have run into situations where the website confirmation is not received by the hotel - usually forwarding the email suffices. Given the late time (11:30-1:30), the fact that I had stayed there previously 2 nights ago, the fact that hotels.com confirmed my booking over the phone and offered to mail to another id which was not provided, and the fact that I was coerced into booking a suite, this rates as one of my worst experiences at a hotel.

Location - superb. Just 1-2kms away frm GVK1 and other shopping malls. This hotel have three restaurants inhouse which serve the most delicious food in hyderabad. Breakfast and internet is complimentary. Rooms are quite big and decent sized. But they need to focus on rooms and amenities. Maintenance is poor. Eg choked basin, tea kettle not wrkng etc. Staff us very friendly and always ready to serve you. Overall 8 out of 10 points.

Ohri's banjara is undoubtedly the best place in Hyderabad to have a midnight buffet. The food menu is great with so many options. Especially the chat and the live phulkaas will give a good start with amazing Biryani as main course and so many other items. The number of desserts are also high with amazing taste....
