I went thru two three other hotels in Hyderabad but this hotel had a feeling of freshness.
When I entered the room, starting from the chic card lock, i saw 8 bottles of mineral water.
It costs few rupees but atleast they dont ask you to pay for the basic requirements of life. It looks good in Europe to charge for sparkling water where the tap water is drinkable. But in India, it is our bad luck that bottled water is a basic necessity, and not a luxury.
Coming back, everything is already there. You dont need to call house keeping for anything. The concept of free fruit platter is refreshing. I guess a lot of hotels give it. The buffet breakfast was a jumbo spread but as a North Indian, i will refrain from commenting too much on it.
You feel happy being in this hotel cos everything is new and fresh. Choose this hotel if you get a good deal.
Going towards Begumpet sometimes becomes a challenge bcos of the railway line but its still ok.
Try the chinese. It was really nice.

I had been visiting this hotel on and off from last 7 years and I wouldn't search for any other hotel to recommend to my friends or anyone.
First of all, it doesn't feel like you are in the middle of a mad Hyderabad concrete jungle although the location is in the centre of the city. You are being welcomed by nice greenery , beautifully presented fresh flowers on the reception, well mannered staff and smiling boys to check you in.
Luxurious flooring, open and wide Saffron soul restaurant, clean atmosphere with lively ambience make you feel that you came to the right place.
House keeping service is offered with atmost exvellence.You do not need to purchase any water bottles whilst your stay as you were given 8 bottles of mineral water in your room.
Raju and other boys who cleaned my room were very patient and did their job to the highest standard.
One important thing I must say here is, every single person in the hotel were friendly, and offering their help at every point of my 19 nights stay.
I came to Hyderabad from London to get My Mom's both Knee replacement surgery and successfully got it done, stayed with this hotel and I tell you, the boys and girls who are in the team from Saffron soul restaurant and hospitality, House keeping, Front desk..Everyone are so so kind, empathetic and helping,I felt like being with my family.
What more I can say, Thank you Marigold hotel, the team and the Management, You are doing great and keep it up.
I look forward for my next visit. All my love to everyone Sirisha

Visited Marigold second time. It was good in 2018, this time however I was a bit disappointed. Below are my observations during my recent stay:
Room doesn’t give the vibe of a 5 star hotel, neither the space, not the available amenities. Table lamp was missing that was placed after request. Bed not so comfortable. Toiletries would be on request due to covid-19 issue. Mini fridge was not working that I got replaced. The housekeeping team did a good job. 6 bottles of drinking water were kept, a good thing. Revolving couch chair was the best part in the room.
Coming to TV and Wi-Fi: star gold/star tv/zee tv/sony max/set max etc. not subscribed/no HD channels Decent Wi-Fi for 2 devices for free plan.
In Room Dining (IRD) decently priced except for Mekong dishes and it was QR code scan based menu. IRD food was good. Mekong dishes were exorbitantly priced at.
Soda/cold drink for the liquor was chargeable in IRD, as told by IRD person who confirmed from his superior saying it is chargeable in both IRD n restaurant whereas it is not the same case at other 5 star hotels where it is complimentary. So, I was settled with beer instead. This part was ridiculous and disappointing
Pool was closed as per govt. rules, and it was all dried up on terrace. SPA was closed that was surprising! Gym was operating. Good sanitisation practices were in place all over
The experience at Mekong restaurant was fabulous, however heavily priced dishes. There was 20% discount for staycation couple though. but I didn’t get any.
Bakery at the reception decently priced, but poor packaging done by the lady staff who operated that kiosk.
Pretty mediocre and below average taste food in breakfast at saffron soul: not many varieties due to covid that I understood but whatever were there should have been good. Malpua, croissant and uthappam were terrible. The filter coffee was good. The service was fine.
Overall, it was a decent experience, yet not a 5 star hotel type as they claim.

Shoba Bavani Basanti Pushpa They are good in providing services. Hygiene is maintained by them.. And room shelves are cleaned with sanitizer to avoid infections.. We friends, ladies came to stay in Marigold for a very long duration, to support our ailing friend. The hotel management and staff were completely supportive, and took care of our special diet needs, thanks to chef Somaya, the waiters were always to serve, in housekeeping smiling Bhavani was always a shout away; laundry service couldn't have been more efficient and right from the gate one felt very safe with decent, attentive, well manared security staff always there to lend a helping hand. The property is large, beautiful, well maintained, centrally located with good size rooms well furnished. What more can one ask.

Stayed at Marigold for 10 days in the last week of Sept 2021. Though I was on a business trip, my wife also accompanied me as she was working from home. We fully enjoyed our stay at this excellent hotel. First of all, I wish to thank Mr Vishveshwara (hope i spelt it correctly), the I T manager, who provided high speed internet in our room immediately on our simple request on intercom. This was a great relief as my wife had to work from hotel room for the entire period. The housekeeping was also delightful with superb cleaning of rooms and prompt replenishments of toiletries & mini bar items. I would like to mention one housekeeping staff Ms Annapurna for being so nice & helpful during our stay. The choice of food stuff available at breakfast, lunch & dinner was awesome and every item was delicious. The chef Mr Sarvanan & Mr Somya were always available to fulfil our demand of any special item with customised options. The service at the restaurant was also amazing. It would be unfair to name any one person amongst the restaurant crew as each & every staff was so courteous and served us to our full satisfaction. Special mention of the prompt laundry services which never disappointed us. The only thing we missed was SPA, which the hotel has not yet resumed after Covid restrictions.

All things worked well here! From front desk staff to housekeeping. Room service orders seemed to take a bit longer than ideal but it is understood that such things can happen on busy days. Management seemed very helpful and my request for late check out was met with a smile. Mr. Sahota (I hope I got the name right) is always there with a warm and pleasant smile. Will return!

Marigold is a large property, which is very well maintained. The outside area is large and had trees and flowers and is well manicured. Inside is bright and clean. They offer buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a large spread. We stayed for long and often we needed lunch packed. The resturant staff was extremely cooperative and Ms.Netha whose responsibility it was, did a wonderful job. Rooms were cleaned well and daily, nice roomy lifts and open reception area made our stay very comfortable

Situated in the heart of the city, Marigold is an upscale Hotel and also enjoys 4.4 star rating from around 10000 good reviewers. Such reviews are attained after consistent effort to please your guests and leaving no stones unturned to service better. It is hardly 15 -16 km from the 16th-century Charminar Mosque and 7 km from Hussain Sagar Lake.
My experience with the hotel remains almost the same. Although the city of Nawabs offers various hotels including ITC Kakatiya which is my all time favorite, Merigold leaves it’s impact given it’s location at Begumpet, it’s food and hospitality totally stole my heart.
Amenities: They serve awesome Breakfast, and there are 2 cool restaurants along with the Chic lounge bar and a casual BBQ area next to the rooftop pool. It also has a gym, a spa, and meeting and event space.
Pros: Overall a good hotel, accessible to major locations and good for couple or family stays.
