The Manohar Hyderabad hotel offers a diverse guest experience, with its prime location and stylish ambience often garnering praise. However, guests have called out the inconsistency in service and cleanliness, with some experiences tarnished by rudeness or untidiness.
While the amenities and rooms receive mixed reviews, with some appreciating the renovated spaces, others are left disappointed by malfunctioning AC and missing supplies. The value for money is a frequent point of contention among travelers, who feel that the service doesn't always match the price.

Detailed Reviews
It's a very good property at a prime location. Rooms are good and family friendly. We have one year old baby and we got excellent support from Mr Santhosh Swain, Manager towards the needs of baby food and all. Special Thanks to him.
Some minor things that can be improved:
1. The air conditioning is central and it can be made better with temperature control in the room itself.
2. Hand wash should be available in the dining area itself or finger bowl should be given all the time.
Overall we had a pleasant stay for 3 days.

Review of The Manohar Hyderabad
My spouse and I recently stayed at The Manohar Hyderabad for 1.5 weeks during a business trip, and we were very satisfied with our stay. While the hotel’s exterior and room conditions could benefit from some renovation, the outstanding service provided by the staff more than made up for these shortcomings.
The housekeeping team cleaned our room thoroughly every day, ensuring it was always spotless. We opted for the full-board option, and the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary needs. Since we couldn’t handle the spiciness of the local cuisine, the kitchen staff prepared less spicy meals especially for us, which we greatly appreciated.
We’d like to highlight two staff members who made our stay particularly memorable: Prashenjeet Mishra, who checked us into a wonderful and spacious room, and Omer, who consistently ensured that our meals were tailored to our preferences. Their professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness truly enhanced our experience.
We are very grateful for the hospitality we received and would happily return to The Manohar Hyderabad if our travels bring us back to the city for another business trip.

Very courteous & hospitable staff! Special mention - Rekha (Customer Care), Prashenjeet Mishra, Dixit (F&B), Umar (Restaurant & Harika (Front Desk). Their behaviour & courtesy overcame some shortcomings of the Hotel.
The Hotel is in desperate need of renovation (we could see that the work has started). The facade is colonial but needs a makeover. When we checked in, we were taken to a room which was so dismal that we immediately thought of moving to another hotel. We had done our booking through Agoda (viewed the pictures, which seemed fine). The relevant persons came and showed us another room which was recently renovated and was quite upto the mark. However, it came at a price. We had to pay extra for this room and that wasn't what we liked. Another initial shortcoming was the reluctance of the housekeeping staff to provide slippers , water and other toiletries but when they realised that we were staying for 5 nights, they were more forthcoming and we did not face any issue after that.
The Manohar is situated on the main Begumpet road which connects Hyderabad with Secunderabad. Good location, not too far neither close to the frequently visited tourists or first time travellers to Hyderabad. A metro line is right there and Uber readily available.
The restaurant is quite alright and the breakfast has a good spread but no meats or cold cuts (barring one day, I guess it was Christmas. Live counter provided eggs as per taste, pan cakes & dosas.
The Christmas dinner had a good spread an reasonably priced.

The price per night is not really worth for the kind of rooms you get. The room we got was a normal one, not a luxurious room, but the price was too high (close to 5K per night).
And also, breakfast was NOT included in the package. The cost of food was also too high, and the food was normal. I would say the buffet breakfast worth of 200 was charges at 500 Rs. And also, the food options were limited.
In all, I dont think it was good choice we made by booking The Manohar.

Poor rooms. With free coal roaches
Run down creaking beds
Poor bathrooms
No towels apparently on demand even at 12 am
Pathetic front office staff rude
Poor breakfast buffet
Wouldn’t provide cutlery and plates in the room despite tariff including a paid dinner which I. Didn’t consume as I was uncomfortable .
Don’t even think of staying at this place must have had a glorious past based on location

We hired a spacious newly renovated Suite @ The Manohar Begumpet
The amenities & comforts were impeccable
We also made some additional minor suggestions that were appreciated & noted down
Inspite Of the Duty Manager Prasanjits leave day he reported on Duty to ensure we 2 senior women were comfortable, that in itself felt very reassuring
Even Anthony was very considerate & caring
During checkout we were also given a complimentary Pizza & soft drinks.
Basically these little considerations, care & concern, go a long way to build long term Relationships
I would strongly recommend The Manohar to Our Friends and would Love to go Back There during my next visit

Last month we stayed at The Manohar Hotel, Hyderabad for 3 days, but we didn't have a good experience. On the first day, they provided a room which had smock smel and they had force us to stay in that room. Also, they are not cooperative. Additionally, AC are not working properly, once you will enter to room almost after 6 hours cooling will done. Bathroom did not have proper drange sytem. They have provided Katel for tea in room but that is not working. And almost all guest who were stayed in the hotel have some compliant for their rooms. Food was not good mostly our family members skip the break fast and dinner due to not good test of food. I personly suggest please do not stay in this hotel.

The Manohar is one of the good, neat and clean Hotels near the old airport road Hyderabad. I observed hotel Staff specially Sanjukta, Malti, Hina, etc are very punctual, honest, and disciplined in terms of services. Daily room cleaning generally happens on time or as per your requirement. The best part of this hotel is the complimentary breakfast which is amazing & tasty with new dishes every morning and should not be missed by everyone. Thank you.

Being a frequent traveller across India, this is the worst hotel I have come across.
An Oyo at 2k price would be far superior to what The Manohar has to offer.
Other than the location property has nothing to offer.
Imagine you check-in into your hotel at 8 in evening and they tell you rooms are not ready. You head out for dinner assuming by the time you return back the room would be ready but the room gets ready by 12 in midnight. The room was not even ready since belonging of the last guest could be seen left over on the floor and I can only imagine how much of cleaning they would have done.
The ac barely worked despite taking about 4.5k charge a night no filtered water bottle was there, no towels provided.
After asking front desk to arrange for towel and after 3 reminders it took 40 mins to arrange for towel and Laundry was another challenge though the laundry boy was helpful and he arranged it quick as per their standard.
The washroom has soap gel bottle which was so dirty the bottle needed cleaning more than my hands i guess
The toilet roll had stains on it, i am sure it was soaking wet earlier and just had dried off like that no one bothered to replace it.
Room was dirty hallways had cockroaches. I felt like having coffee in the morning but could only imagine the what all i must be drinking along with that stained electric kettle.
Just could barely made it through the night and immediately checked out the next day and booked another hotel. Moving to Marriott from the Manhor felt like i was put in heaven from hell.
My first and last visit to The Manohar ever, might book OYO over it any-day if required.

I am travelling with my wife for the first time in 8 years from the Uk and and a day before I made a call to make sure If the room looks as good as pictures and the person on call said Yes (however It’s an absolute disaster) Also made sure with the person on call I’ll be coming to the hotel early around 10ish, Will there be any extra charges and the person said No (However we have been charged 1680.00 rupees on arrival saying early check in charges)
We’ve been shown several rooms and none of them were tidy and definitely not as good as it looks in the pictures, Don’t be fooled by the looks of it.
The manager was not helpful in any way however he asked us to pay another 2500.00 per day extra on top the 24000.00 we paid for 6 days for suite room.
It is not the quality of service we were expecting from them.
Shower pressure, flush pressure was terrible. and the bed sheets were stinking looks like they’ve not been washed either.
No fridge, dryer, Iron box little basic essentials aren’t available.
Absolutely Ridiculous
