The service at Abids TMH has shamefully degraded. Our family went for a dinner to celebrate my daughters birthday. Not only did they delay the order for a long long time, but also served very disinterestedly . On the top we ordered Biryani and dal makhani and they didn't have the minimum common sense to serve them together. The dal makhani was brought after Biryani was completed. On the top of it, the servers as well as Manager are extremely rude. Probably they have the confidence that their jobs are secured even though they don't fulfill their duties. Finally our happy mood and party night were messed up by TMH Abids staff. Please take strict action and also train your staff before the business collapses. I reserved their banquet hall for a family gathering on May 21. The experience has been very good and staff extremely cooperative in last minute changes. The food was very tasty. Category of a budget hotel, quite old styled. The Big plus point is close to Abid's street which is a shopping street of downtown Hyderabad. Otherwise in the existing tariffs of Taj Abids, one can get better modern hotels. They have a discriminating policy, they allow 24 hours check out to the direct customers, but online booking customer are asked to vacate at 11 AM and are not flexible to accomodate reasonable request of late check out. Not worth recommending.

Popularly known as THM this hotel I visitedany times in the past.thougj maintained neat and clean certain bizzare things happe. 1. No jug or flask to store drinking water in room. You have to go to for mineral bottele invariably without cool water 2.no gLass for drinking water at room or at restaurant. Stunned to know the reply we got WE DONT HAVE GLASSES AT ALL. 3. VERY DELAYED ROOM SERVICE. 4. NO refrigerator in room and tv with unwanted channels which they recharge occassionally when complained. This a live review now. Surya

The restaurant here has a separate " thalli" section that serves superb south Indian meals in a large hall. Good sitting facilities. You have to take a token first. 140 per thali meal. Meal was good. Typical south Indian meal that we get in this part of the country. Three puris, three sabjis, rice, sambar, rasam, curds, papad. Extra three puri will cost 20 rupees. Service is polite and quick. Only thing, they could have added one sweet---children would love that. Huge parking space. Wash room present in the section. Note that the thali meal section is open upto 4.30 pm only. Worth visiting if you are in the Abids area.

The Resturent offers excellent south Indian vegetarian food like idli, dosa, poori with good chutney and sambar. Great ambience, delicious food, good service. Rawa Dosa was very crispy. Excellent filter coffee is also available. Good joint for pure vegetarian food lovers.

I visited the hotel to get some takeaway for my family, the taste was excellent. It’s a very old hotel, as I visited the same with my dad when I was very young. Thank GOD they maintain the same quality and hats off to chef. Next visit will be with the family.

The place is extremely good for people and family that would like to taste South Indian dishes. It has a authentic food taste and unlimited Sambar and chutneys served. They serve North Indian dishes also. Location of restaurant is Good for tourists visiting Hyderabad as it is convenient by means of transport. Restaurant is Pure veg.
