This is one of the best properties in portblair and also the staff and their service is exceptional. It is placed in a wonderful location with a nice ocean view and cleanliness of property is very good. It's very well maintained. Some of the staff i would like to call out is Nagaraj and Joykutty in Restaurant. Nagaraj is an asset to this hotel with the kind of service he offers to guests Bharat in the front office assistant. All the reception staff were also very good as the check in and check out was very smooth. They even were so kind enough to extend the pool hours too considering my son's request, which was really something which you don't expect most hotels to do. The food also is exceptional except the breakfast where the continental and Indian food is good however the deserts and juices need massive improvement as both days that we had, it wasn't fresh. Overall, a great place for vacation and with amazing hospitality, do go for it…

Had a good time although the food is overpriced. Service was great. Joel at the reception and Jairam at the restaurant were very helpful. The spa services were also good. There's always room for improvement.

This is one of the overpriced hotel in the city. They say this is the oldest property. But the price is way too expensive for the rooms we get. The rooms are extremely small, old, outdated and worn down. None of the requests get resolved. The only good thing about this hotel is the bay view from the dining area. But we cant pay the hefty price tag for that view. I wish I did not book this hotel.

Room view is ok hotel is bit too old but staff is good … we had bad experience in packed breakfast on first day as we wanted jain food but other two days breakfast was good chef jairam is a superb chef takes good care of their customers choices 5 star rating for chef jairam 3 star for property.

Peaceful location. Had a decent comfortable stay at Delux sea view room next to the restaurant and above a small garden. Very helpful staff right through security to admin to bar/restaurant to room service to even property maintenance personnel. Special mention for Aman from the restaurant who is a tireless hard-working individual working back-to-back shifts with a composure and smile on his face. I wish Aman all the success and good health. Our booking with included meals was a great choice, unlike my mixed to bad experiences at other bookings at Port Blair and rest of Andaman. Thank you Welcomhotel, for a relaxing and great stay to end our trip to Andamans.

An ITC welcome group hotel , can be rated as mid segment level . Not very kids friendly as levels are different for rooms/ pool/ restaurant. Food is good and is served with smile. Rooms are small and bathrooms are not comfortable. The reception staff is courteous and cooperative..

One of the best properties with incredible view and amazing service ! Great location and great view is only the beginning, the amazing or wow factor of this hotel is the staff behaviour and the way they are concerned about their guest’s experience. We stayed for 4 nights, the reception staff namely Raj was always smiling and ready to help, we had all our meals in their coffee shop, Abhijit was attending us most of the days - he was incredibly polite and friendly, he elevated our experience with multiple conversations. We went to the bar and Mr Upendra was very friendly and full of energy ! The housekeeping staff, IT personnel, travel desk everyone is so so good !
