Detailed Reviews

A decent budget hotel with dining and parking facility located at middle point about 2 kms from the airport. The Aberdeen Bazar is 15 mins walking distance and can be a nice evening stroll. You can also get an auto, a taxi or local bus to all the jetty, Cellular Jail or beaches.
They serve complimentary breakfast which can even be arranged at early hours in case you have to catch a jetty or move early. The staff was supportive and had a hassle free stay. The rooms are installed with ACs, TV and a small sitting area. The bathrooms are small but have a geyser. The best part is the open hall outside the rooms where a family can gather or friends can handout playing indoor games or just chit chat.
The reception has a small sitting area with a plethora of newspapers to get the latest update and also few local site seeing guide books. They also helped us arrange adventure activities. However, since the market place is close by do take a stroll and explore other possibilities. Do not forget to visit “Sagarika” an Andaman & Nicobar Emporium which houses an array of must take away items and souvenirs. Be there before 6 pm as it closes early. I took a conch as blowing it is a good exercise for lungs.
The hotel can improve on its bathrooms and menu and must invest in installation of WiFi facility as it will improve their connectivity and will also enable the travelers for online payment and other benefits.

Pros
1. Extremely clean hotel. Reception, room & bathroom are maintained well.
2. Room service staff are polite & humble. Reception staff are just okay.
3. Good vegetarian food.
4. Tariff is reasonable.
5. Just 2-3 km from airport.
6. You feel safe & secure in this hotel.
Cons
1. Rooms feel at least 10-15 yrs old. Old school interior designs with cheap looking cupboards & sofas.
2. Bathroom doesn't look & feel premium.
3. Cot is small. Honeymoon couples, please don't prefer this hotel.
4. No non-veg food. You expect to have sea food when you are in Andamans.
5. No wifi facility available, even at the reception.
6. AC doesn't have remote.
7. TV is not LCD.
Final opinion
Book this hotel if you don't mind old styled designs. Im a person who likes modern designs, especially interior. So I found it little difficult initially to get used to this hotel. But the cleanliness, friendly room service staff, location of the hotel, secure feeling made me happy at the end.
Suggestion to the hotel administratives - Please renovate the interiors at the earliest to catch up with the competitors.

We had booked and paid this hotel in advance. However, after our interaction with the staff and especially after seeing the room, we decided to check out and try our luck elsewhere. The room was filthy: stained sheets, no toilet supplies, the most dirty wet towel you could possible imagine was lying in the bathroom, dirty floor. The staff were not very helpful in solving the issues.
We cannot tell anything about breakfast since we did not stay long enough to try it.

I booked a double deluxe room for 3 persons in starting May 2014. The Guy at the reception confirmed room at a certain price. But when I reached the hotel, the lady at the reception changed the price and asked separate charges for the 3rd person. The guy whom I spoke with totally denied what he confirmed me over phone and made me feel like a fool. Though the hotel may be rewarded good ratings in terms of cleanliness, restaurant and outer look, it is not worth the price. I wanted to share my experience so that nobody else suffers the way I did.

I had visited this holel on Jan 2013.
Had a good stay.
I loved the breakfast.
The good part about the staff is they provided me breakfast before their actual time since I had to leave early.( My tour operator Helped me to request them).

Will restrict the review to the restaurant only..we were on a prowl for a decent veg restaurant..a few restaurants were suggested by some friends..which can also serve south indian food. We chanced upon this restaurant..Blue sea.Location is good. On the main road.Has a syndicate bank ATM..has quite a few shops catering for tourists having shells and products attractive to tourists..We were really hungry and were wanting to have some food..So four of us...ie dear wifey along with my son and daughter entered the restaurant...Luckily we saw quite a few tables vacant..however, the waiter insisted upon us occupying a table of four which was placed right next to a wash basin..where all people were in a queue for washing hands. we requested for a vacant table..which had a seating for six...there were three such tables...but then rules are rules...the waiter looked at us with such an expression as if we had asked for something out of the world..he simply said if u want to have food for four then must wait outside for the other fours to finish their food..what if six guests descended there..they would feel offended that how come four people were sitting on a table for six..Intimidated we rushed pleadingly to the Mr manager who examined our beach clothes with great scrutiny and found our request thoroughly inappropriate..for once he looked like a government servant working in the audit department...he supported the dialectical logic of the waiter...and repeated verbatim..IF U WANT TO HAVE FOOD U CAN HAVE ONLY ON A FOUR SEATER..OTHERWISE WAIT FOR HALF AN HOUR....with a a heavy heart and a gurgling stomach we scurried out to find another south indian restaurant called Annapurna and ate to our fill the sambhars and the nariyal chutney along with rava masala dosa

Neither too expensive but not that cheap too. Its either relatively a new hotel or a recently renovated one because the hotel rooms were clean n looked quite new.its a vegetarian hotel. Breakfast was simple and nice(no eggs.. remember its vegetarian hotel). The staffs are nice n helpful except the lady at the reception (I think she is the supervisor), had quite an attitude (very curt even to the guest). Felt weird as a guest watching the rest of the staff getting dominated. No WiFi.. TV and AC available. Bad network in the city. WiFI is not easily available everywhere. Everything is expensive in Andamans because everything comes from the mainland. One can book the ferry tickets online too except the government ferry as it can be booked only in person or through an agent or with the help of the locals. Best place for scuba course is 'Dive India' in Havelock hands down. Locals are sweet but ofcourse everyone tries to make money out of you :) tourism is the main source of income so that's normal I guess :)

i went to port blair for business and stayed at Blue sea hotel for 6 days during May month. Everything is quite expensive in port blair starting from staying to food or even travel. Room rents for average room are higher than mainland and the quality of services provided is about average. This holds true for this hotel as well. Food is extremely expensive in the hotel restaurant and we (me and colleagues) went to other place to have meals. even the non veg food (sea food) is also expensive.
if you are travelling to port blair for sightseeing and want to keep expenses low, follow these:
book hotels in advance, especially for peak season (oct/nov-mar/apr). Local travel if booked in advance will be a bit cheaper than if you choose to do it on spot. Brokers extort a hefty sum. Also try to carry everything you need from mainland. Autos are avl and make your city travel very cheap. Ask around the local people (they are helpful for this).

I did not stay here. I was slated to stay, but had to cancel it in view of the shabby room.
