Thrilled to have experienced the warm hospitality at Daku Resort - we stayed recently for a week long yoga retreat and had a wonderful time. The staff were chatty, helpful, and had ever-present smiles to offer, the owners of Daku (JJ and Delia) take a personal interest in each guest and provide entertaining dinner conversations, the grounds were well-maintained and...

We came to Daku in May 2014 for a one-week Yoga retreat and had a fabulous time. The resort is conveniently situated within walking distance of SavuSavu and a few minutes drive from the airport. The resort is tidy and tranquil with lush gardens and 100 year+ coconut trees characteristic of Fiji. It features it's own pool, beach volleyball net,...

Had a very interesting and fun stay at Daku resort. The owners are great company and very welcoming and the staff friendly and warm. I loved the communal dinners and relaxing poolside. Towns is a 30min waterfront walk away, and there is great diving and snorkelling. If you want a genuine Fijian experience without the commercialism of other resorts I...

This is a very pleasant, low key resort with excellent accommodation, service and food. Wonderful diving and snorkeling are close by and the owners, Delia and JJ, go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Daku Resort is a place of constant delight. The owners, Delia and JJ, have created a home from home for their guests in impossibly beautiful Fiji. The moment we arrived and were greeted by the gracious smiling staff we knew we were in a special place. The food is delicious and fresh. I hope anyone who visits the island of...

This resort rates itself as 3-star because it is, as they claim, "old-fashioned". However, the warmth of the hospitality raises the value way beyond that. The resort is located out of the delightful town of Savusavu but within easy reach. The burés look across typical Fijian gardens to the bay and the facilities are all handy, Our buré was comfortable...

A resort that feels like home in the heart of a Fijian hideaway. Great hosts (second to none), kind, friendly staff - a real relaxing retreat if you really want to get away from it all. What you will get here is 5 star personal genuine hospitality. Thank you JJ and D!

Daku Resort is a wonderful place to stay. The staff are obliging, the accommodation comfortable and the food delicious. (Noisy neighbours can be a bit trying.) Savusavu is a terrifically low key, out-of-the-way kind of place and well worth the little extra effort it takes to get there. Thank you JJ, Aubrey, Kenny and all the staff for a most...

We had the most wonderful holiday at Daku staying for 7 nights in August 2013. Delia & JJ are the hosts with the most and they made us all so very welcome. Daku has everything you could wish for: great pool, comfortable clean rooms, delicious meals, stunning surrounds and brilliant Fijian smiles. Kenni and his family opened their hearts to...

I stayed two weeks at Daku and they were among the most memorable i have had. Our yoga group had very specific requests and many changes to our program over the course of our stay, but Delia and JJ handled this with grace and generosity of spirit. Far from just being owners or proprietors, they and the whole staff served...
