The management were informed of my arrival flight but there was no one to greet me at the airport. The airport became deserted but for a lone taxi. This I managed to get the driver to take me to the lodge. A bad start to a week here. This is nothing but a hobby farm with goats covered with flies....

Helpless romantic, nature lovers, you will find your match in Julie's and Joe Eco hideaway. They were closed for refurbishment and big clean up after a cyclone but accepted to take us in anyway even though they warned us they might be some nuisance or inconvenience. Julie told us later that my French accent on the phone sealed the deal.....

Although Palmlea is a little out of the way, this is a big part of the attraction and Joe and Julie can help get you there if you don't have your own transport. Meals are authentic Fijian with most ingredients fresh from their farm. If you don't have the time to stay a night (or more), at least visit for...

We all decided to head North for a couple days, really enjoyed the surroundings and tranquility of Palm Lea. The food is absolutely awesome and after a day out at sea the beers are icy cold! Thanks Jo & Juile for all your hospitality your the best, wishing you both and the team a Merry Xmas & Happy New Year......

We spent 9 days in this beautiful and quiet little resort with our 3 year old girl. Although very quiet, we never got bored as there is lots to enjoy: the superb pool, the hammocks, the great kayaking on the sea to the private beach, walking around the gardens, we loved the snorkelling trip (amazing being alone at the sandbank!),...

We recently went to Fiji for our honeymoon. Not wanting to do the normal resort holiday we booked for six nights at Palmlea. A decision we did not regret. Joe and Julie made us welcome from the begining. It's the perfect place to do as much or as little as you like and the guys at Palmlea are happy to...

Three days was far too short. everything wonderful. Views, pool. relaxing, peaceful and great food. What more could one possibly ask for. It was very hard to leave and I will definitely be back for a longer stay. Perfect for one's mental health and the annual leave from stressful city and work life.

Palmlea farms is the quintessential fiji country island experience. We spent 4 nights with 2 little boys on this eco farm resort and it was a flat out 10 across the board. The host/owners are very kind, warm, friendly and fascinating to spend time with. The cottages(bures) are cozy and well designed and laid out. You will have the feeling...

We spent a wonderful and amazing 7 nights at Palmlea Farms Lodge & Bures a few days ago (July 2013). When we alighted from the airplane we were greeted by the lovely Julie who took us to our new home via a very comfortable and air conditioned four wheel drive. Travelling with two young children (18 months and 4 years)...
