I was part of the first team to go to Vorovoro and help set things up. It was such a magical time for me. I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life and even found my future husband! We have been married now for 2 years and everyday think of visiting the island again. We forged so...

Amazing! Great! Fantastic! Are words one can try to use to describe an experience that words cannot really explain. Tribewanted must be experienced to fully appreciate how special it truly is.

Vorovoro is a step beyond paradise.. It has the palm tree silhouettes to frame the flawless sunsets every evening, it's got the warm sea lapping at it's soft sand, there's hammocks, sun, an abundance of coconuts and fruit.. But more than that, it is home to an overwhelming atmosphere. Every individual is treated as a relative and friend instead of...

But I think there are things that are good to know about the reality v. how it's portrayed online - and it's good to acknowledge that some things may have...

The Tribewanted experience on vorovoro is so hard to put into so few words. It's more than just simply staying at a hotel. You become involved in the community, you sing, dance and drink kava with the locals and you learn more about appreciating the environment and other people. Wonderful highlights of Vorovoro include *10 minute boat ride from the...

This is a chance to spend some time on a traditional Fijian island. A beautiful tropical island, but with no air-con hotel, no swimming pool, no waiters, just a simple tropical island, with simple accommodation, better than simple food, lots of fun, educational, with great people. You will stay amongst fijians, learning about their culture and way of life in...

Our family stayed on Vorovoro for 10 weeks and we believe it is the best family adventure experience you will ever experience. I find it hard to find the words to describe the amazing experience we had there, but will try! We have three children, ages 10, 8, and 5. Life on Vorovoro truly integrates the entire family (even the...

Tribewanted is a unique community tourism project based on Vorovoro Island, Fiji. Tribe members join online before spending upwards of one week on Vorovoro living as part of a Fijian and global community. Tribewanted can be seen as: - a way of showing the outside world that you can live (mostly) of local resources and you don’t need very much...
