My wife and I just spent 11 wonderful days at Nakia Resort. Despite a rather rainy spell of weather at the start of the wet season, we had a wonderful time. We can't say enough about Robin and Jim's efforts to make us feel at home and cater to our needs...including Robin's driving us into town to tap the ATM... More

My husband and I and our two boys aged 8 and 10 visited Nakia in October this year. We have read all the tripadvisor reviews, looked at all the photos etc but we were all still blown away by the magic of the place. We have done a lot of travelling in our time and for us Nakia is the... More

My wife and I have just spent a wonderful 7 nights at Nakia Resort. Robin and Jim have carved out a real gem at the end of the supply chain in Taveuni - the park-like grounds have wonderful views over the Somosomo Strait, and everything from the well-kept palms to the flower beds to the swimming pool and rockwork shows... We had the pleasure of spending 5 wonderful days at Nakia Resort & Dive. Deciding between Nakia and another resort, the tipping point was the Trip Advisor reviews which were spot on. There is so much to rave about, where to begin. The staff were wonderful, each knowing you by name. Food was fantastic, the best we had on our... More

Thank you to Robin, Jim, Julie and Aaron. We returned from Fiji a few weeks ago and are still raving about the amazing diving, food and overall treatment we received at Nakia! Our bure was comfortable and clean, our view breathtaking. A perfect sunset every night. The team at Nakia treated us so well, with personal greetings and special treatment,... More

I looked in Webster's Dictionary, in search of a word to describe Nakia Resort. I had thought "perfect" too mundane. It is not. If perfect is "being entirely without fault or defect," then there is no word that could describe it better. Nakia is simply and utterly flawless - from the moment you arrive. The food, the service, the owners... More

I was looking forward to a week's break in Fiji and some diving and snorkelling, but I had no idea how wonderful the week would turn out to be. From the moment we met Robin at the airport, I felt welcomed as a new member of the Nakia family. The friendliness of Robin and Jim and all their staff is... More

We are a family of four with two sons ages 12 and 14. We went to Fiji mostly for the diving and we were not disappointed. My husband is a Navy Dive Medical officer and I had previously been certified but had not been diving for over 10 years. I took a PADI course with my sons here in the... More

This trip felt like staying in the home of a family friend. Talking to Robyn the manager was a pleasure, and she never seemed to be in hurry. The staff were the same. The general feeling was relaxation, even laziness, and there didn't seem to be any timetables. But if you wanted lunch, or to play golf or be driven... More

It’s hard to describe how perfect our honeymoon was at Nakia. There really isn’t enough to be said about the courteousness, the warmth, and the feeling of family that you receive from everyone there. Jim took us around (as Robin was in the states) and gave us the tour of his wonderful resort. The time and effort they have put... More
