From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave you are treated like family. It's the best feeling in the world for staff to remember your names and make you feel special day after day. The glorious natural surrounds of Paradise are what sets this resort apart from others. If you like staying at big glitz, busy resorts this is not the holiday destination for you. Ultimate Paradise.
We were there 8 days, so this will be a little long. First, "my likes". The resort is small, easy to navigate, and mostly user friendly. The burres are wonderful and you will not need anything. They provide for you very well. I had trouble with the shower temp, but my husband didn't so it was clearly operator error. The people - I can say without question, the people of Taveuni are the nicest I have ever met. We met some amazing travelers as well and enjoyed diving and dining with them. Which brings me to my next "like" - the food. I have ZERO complaints. The food was wonderful and I felt I had a good variety to choose from every day. The massage was wonderful and is in a hut overlooking the ocean - the only downside was the clanking of the guy working on his…
Travel form main Island Airport (Nadi) in a small plane and skim the water so your wife is having kittens. -Land on a Good strip at Taveuni - a 1hr 4 wheel drive through deep vegetation - Arrive in PARADISE Taveuni where you are greeted by the famous Fijian smile 'Bula' then each night you mix and relax more and more. We simply needed to nothing but lay around however s this Island is for 'Deep' Divers and we do not Dive we were very happy to tag along with the 'Snorkel' instructor and what a GREAT experience, wonderful Coral and warm water. We kicked ourselves that we did not grab this earlier - By the way the Spa massage in open bure' looking over the ocean is the most relaxing way to spend the afternoon before you lay by the pool. There are only 18 or so Free Standing Bure'…
The entire crew at Paradise resort welcome visiting sailors with free moorings and a friendly welcoming experience ! From the owners Alan and Terry who welcome you with a hug to the guy who paddles out to tie you up to the moooring - the experience is one in a lifetime !! Enjoy being treated like a guest to this wonderful establishment !
This was an amazing choice for our first trip to Fiji. First of all, the staff was wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and I think the entire staff knew our names within 20 minutes of our arrival. Suzie always greeted us with a beautiful smile and truly went above and beyond to help us plan our activities and to make our stay as relaxing as possible. The snorkeling was also some of the best I’ve ever experienced. Hundreds of species of coral and fish in beautiful blue clear water, without even having to leave the resort. We also saw eels, an octopus, a cuttlefish, tons of starfish and urchins, and even a few sharks! Helen at the dive shop gave us some great tips, and made sure all our equipment was fitted properly. Activities I recommend: - Snorkeling at…
