My wife and I feel that this was our most amazing vacation ever. It was a long haul from the United States, but well worth it. We stayed for 10 days to make the trip worthwhile. The room that we had is beautiful, clean and comfortable. Staff was extremely attentive and wonderful. They would go out of their way to make sure you were comfortable and everything was taken care of for you. I have to say that the diving was like no other place I have been. The coral and fish life on Rainbow Reef is far above anything you will see in the Caribbean. I can not say enough good things about this resort, the owners or the staff. Simply a fantastic vacations!!!!
This place is truly a slice of PARADISE! The staff is amazing! ALL of the staff, from the cook to the groundskeeper, they are ALL fabulous! I can’t get over how fast they would learn everyone’s name, they would always address you by your name. The grounds are meticulously maintained, and the views are breathtaking. The dive operation that they run here is absolutely top-notch. Although I don’t dive, I’m an avid snorkeler, I do know what a good operation looks like. If you are a diver this place is a must! The food is very tasty, well prepared and served in a beautiful setting. You can’t go wrong here at Paradise! The snorkeling right off the property on the reef at Paradise is better than most anything you will find in the Caribbean. This place has a lot to offer. The…
From the greeting song and foot massages (great after a long flight) to the Farewell song, this staff is top notch. Arrive mid afternoon and everyone knows your name by the next morning. Diving operation is very well run and the resort is also very relaxing for a non-diver. Plenty of other activities available. The only things that kept it from being five stars was that the food was consistently overcooked and the diving itself was mediocre. Loved the Fiji night and Kava ceremony. Would definitely recommend.
Paradise Taveuni is just that, a little slice of paradise. We truly enjoyed our 5 night stay at Paradise Taveuni and would highly recommend it to other divers. Our accommodations were clean and beautiful and we truly enjoyed the option of the outdoor or indoor shower. The dive staff were very knowledgeable and it was such a pleasure diving with them. The food overall was delicious, but not outstanding (however, the pumpkin soup was amaaaazing!). This is a smaller resort without a beach, so there isn't a ton for non-divers to do on-site, however they do offer excursions. During our off day, we chose to do the Buoma Waterfall trip and it was fantastic! Our guide, Sonny, was amazing and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. I think what truly makes this resort special though…
We were the resort the first week of Oct. Even though it rained the first 3 days it did not dampen our spirits. My husband was there to dive and me to take in the sights. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the staff was so accommodating. Prior to arriving I knew we were to visit a village and Terri, the owner of Paradise had sent a list of items that would be appreciated. School supplies, over the counter medical supplies, i.e. cold medicine, adhesives strips, etc. I was also able to take things the resort requested, cell phones, candy for their upcoming Halloween party and coffee for the expresso machine. Down the road from the resort is a primary school. They were celebrating Children's' Day and Fiji Day. Outside guests were invited to observe. So…
