Paulina and the Bibi's helped to make Taveuni one of my favourite places on the planet. There's something special about waking up and wandering around a beautiful well maintained garden to find ripe passion fruit, papaya, bananas, guava and more for breakfast. I can't recommend a stay here enough.

Paulina is a wonderful lady with a wonderful family. Glad we got to meet them all! We had a very spacious place with kitchen & a nice porch. Everything was clean. There was a much needed mosquito net on the bed. Mosquitoes are bad in Taveuni!! We will be back!

I booked my accommodation by calling Paulina (the owner) directly. For the few months before my trip I wasn’t sure if I have a place to stay - so used to have a notification or some sort of reminder for my upcoming trip. My worries were unfounded. I was greeted by the lovely family members plus given an organic fruit basket. The accommodation is simple and rustic. A great place to switch off (also no wifi in the room). If you’re into living locally and adore the simple stuff, I’d suggest giving Paulina a ring!

Bibi's Hideaway Resort is located in Matei, Taveuni, Fiji. It's a beautiful and wonderful plantation with a lovely bure. The lovely Bibi's family run this business with their heart. If you are here you will fall in love with Bibi's Hideaway.

We stayed a nice big family "house". We had everything we needed very spacious, fully equipped kitchen lots of space to sit and dine. When we arrived we got a big ball of fresh fruits! The owners were very helpful, and gave us any info we needed. Beautiful plantation! The location is in Matei which isn't really a village but a tourists area. You can take the bus from there to Bouma National Park, last bus back is at 14:00 so you might have to arrange a taxi.

Literally a home away from home. We absolutely loved our stay at Bibis. Polina is incredible! We arrived and she organized us to stay in a tent so it was in our budget. She allowed us to cook in her kitchen. Her property is incredible and every morning we are fresh fruit; papayas, passion fruit oranges etc. We felt like part of the family!

This gem is so welcoming. Pick your pawpaw and squeeze your oranges for breakfast and order curry from the house at the end of the drive for dinner. With the quietness of the surroundings and the Milky Way at night, our family of four was comfortable in our specious cottage. The owner is on hand for questions and answers and the property is well places to visit the activities on hand in Taveuni.

Just the best place ever! I miss it so, so much. The family were friendly, lovely to chat to and spend some nights with. It is a real home away from home, a place to reconnect and revive. Taveuni is also an island of dreams. I stayed in the cottage where you needed to share a fridge. It was beautiful, huge and spacious! I will definitely come back soon.

Maybe it doesnt lay on the beach, bo it's even better, because thanks to this its cheap, and You can walk 5 minutes to the nearest beach! Paulina (the owner) is the best host we've met in whole Fiji, and You know how people there are :) Professional, friendly, helpful and You will receive free fruits for a welcome gift! :D Bures are clean, comfy, nice and quiet. Great place for rest, charge batteries, and even spend some more time. Definitely recomend!

My wife and I stayed at Bibi's for a week and loved every minute! Paulina helped us in so many ways and brought us fresh fruit from her 18 acre garden. We enjoyed Passionfruit, papayas, kumquats, pomelo, pineapples and more. Twice while we were there we arranged a local Indian Woman to cook and deliver delicious Indian dinners. There are at least 2 other restaurants within a 5 minute walk. We stayed at the "honeymoon" Bure and found it to be well supplied in every way. We arranged diving with Taveuni Ocean Sports who picked us at Bibi's. I highly recommend this professional diving outfit for dives on the rainbow reef.
