We had an awful experience here at the end of our holiday recently. The hotel staff prevented our transfer leaving for the airport claiming that, even though we have provided vouchers for Transfers and Accommodation, we still owe €357 for our party of 5 people. The manager claimed that, as we are british booking through a german company, we have...

The hotel still got the lovely calming feeling but throughout my 5 years each summer there. I can tell that the service is getting worse, bad food and boring programs. the staff you used to love 80% of them left. Hospitality is not as warm as it used to be.

I've been to Egypt many times but I usually stayed at 5* hotels. This summer I wanted to go on holiday with my friend and because we are young girls we wanted to find something not so expensive thus we chose Shams Safaga and I must admit I was nicely surprised about the quality this 3* hotel could offer us....

This is a great place for families with young children. The sand is soft and tender, there's a huge number of sunbeds and umbrellas, so you can come any time and still find a nice place for sunbathing and relaxing. Food is good, dinners have grill food of different kinds. There are restaurants a-la-cart with romantic atmosphere and tasty food,...

The room was big enough and had safety box, fridge and balcony which is big plus. Bathroom with shower was very dirty. The sink was stocked, Toilet, floor and walls looked like nobody...

Best value for money We spent in the hotel Shams Safaga very enjoyable two weeks (8- 22 November). Accommodation: Nice clean and renovated bungalow, about 30 meters from the beach and restaurants - super! Meals: Delicious, but poor choice. Once a week, fresh tuna, otherwise every day white oily fish, some pangasius. Twice a week the Egyptian evening and barbecue...

Clean sea and beach. I've travelled with daughter, so, chosen this hotel for these reasons. We lived in bungalow on the first line direct to the sea. It was very well. To have this room, you need to pay 15-20$ on reseption, when you arrived. So, the accomodation was perfect. Cleaning service was good, i gave 2$ tips once in...
