The resort is a little tired, but very comfortable and welcoming.
The staff can't do enough for you.
Very polite & helpful.
Many do well speaking more than one language and very easy for a British traveller to be understood.

Food is a bit repetitive, but they are catering for a huge number of people.
There is always plenty of food, which is fresh, well presented and the serving areas are clean.

Covid precautions still in place & there is a good amount of cleaning taking place regularly.

Those trying to sell trips, massages, etc can get annoying when they won't take no for an answer.

Evening entertertainment needs improvement!

I don't like the Camel being dragged up and down the beach.
Saw its nose bleeding twice and you could see it was afraid of the guy when he picked up his stick.

The gardens and grounds are beautiful on both sides of the hotel.

WiFi is a bit weak, especially on the garden room side.

The bar, pool and gardening staff on that side are wonderful.

Special mentions goes to Mohamed (Lifeguard) and Shaban (bar staff) on the garden room side for being attentive and friendly to everyone, keeping the pool & bar area tidy and always ready to serve

Tourists need to be more responsible for their rubbish, especially on the beach, as much ends up in the sea.

Let's protect this beautiful area of Egypt please.

This is our second visit to this hotel and the first under Swiss Inn management and I have to say there has been some good improvement in the hotel since our last stay 2 years ago.
Front office team are very professional, may be a bit slow, but still doing great job in check in and check out.
Housekeeping was outstanding and really good and prompt whenever we asked for extra service or requested to make up the room.
The animation team and staff at the beach Cafe are really great and courteous.
With that said, the hotel must pay attention to the room description online as a lot of people had issues finding out at check in that they booked a room on the building across the street which is not clear when making the booking, luckily I check by phone to confirm my booking and made changes, otherwise, this would have spoiled our trip.

Overall, I do recommend this hotel for the location, service, food and great team

As before, it is beautiful for my family and me at the Swiss Inn and we always get the experience we have not had so far, even though we are guests for the sixth time. However, I must add that this year the new management raised the quality of the hotel by one whole level. This year everything is better, from food (especially fruit), drinks, services, gardens, flowers, the beach, the sea and especially the new entertainment team. However, I would like to single out Farid, because, without him, this summer would not be complete for my daughter and us. He is a magnet for children and a real entertainer who remains unforgettable. Thank you so much Farid for existing.
I would also single out a few waiters from both the main restaurant and the beach restaurant. There are also great and always smiling bartenders and people who keep the rooms meticulously clean. In the end, I would like to mention the beach guard without whom this hotel would not have a soul, and that is Atef (Egyptian "Serb") with whom a visit to this hotel takes on a special charm.
We were there for the first time at the end of May and we are very pleased with the weather. See you again in September ...

We stayed at the Swiss Inn Hurghada for a week on all inclusive basis. On arrival we were put in a room across the road from the main hotel facilities. This room was barely a 3 star hotel room (see pictures) and when we tried to speak to reception about it they told us it was the travel agent fault and it happens all the time. I told them the issue wasn't just being across the street and having to cross the road 6/8 times a day (being asked if we needed a taxi every single one), the issue was the room wasn't the standard we expected for a 5 star. The receptionist agreed with a laughing actitud and said he couldn't do anything, we had to pay extra if we wanted to move to the main building. He directed us to the customers service person who didn't help either and when I said that it was unacceptable and I would leave a bad review, she also laughed. Terrible customer service if you ask me...
After 2 days emailing our agent in the UK ( who by the way was absolutely amazing!) They managed to get us upgraded to a premium room in the main area ( so much more like the pictures in their website).
So if you book a room in the hotel make sure you are booking the decent ones, otherwise you'll be asked for additional payments just to stay where you expected.
Having said that, the restaurant, housekeeping, beach and animation staff are lovely and work very hard to please you, although the variety of food and drinks isn't quite up to the standards of a 5 star.
As I said, once you accept you aren't in a 5 star hotel, you'll be fine!

Swiss Inn Resort is a hidden gem of a hotel. We had some reservations about going as there were few, if any, recommendations on any of the Egypt/Hurghada groups we researched. But, were we glad we picked to visit for our winter sun holiday. We upgraded to a premium room and were literally six steps from our balcony to the beach. There were plenty of sunbeds and the beach staff prepared one for us each morning, there were also plenty around the various pools. There are a few sales people on the beach (trips/spa etc), but once you built up a rapport with them they would leave you alone and you could put a red flag on your parasol to indicate that you didn't want to be disturbed. There are five restaurants to choose from, one buffet and an Italian, fish, barbeque and an Asian (the buffet was self service and the rest a la carte and either could be used in the evenings). There was a sushi/sports bar, which wasn't included in the all inclusive; in the week we were there we didn't see it used once (other than for the very occasional meeting) and we felt it was wasted space and would have been more useful as an all inclusive bar. All of the staff were attentive, always a table ready for us when we used the buffet, the bar staff ensured our glasses weren't empty too long. The only downside we encountered was that we couldn't keep our room on our departure day; we had an evening flight and wanted to keep our room for 2 or 3 hours, but as the hotel was busy they were unable to accommodate us. We would definitely recommend the hotel and are looking to book next year.

From the minute we arrived it was fabulous. The hotel staff were so happy to assist with everything and nothing was too much trouble. My sister and I were there as part of a 2 week holiday where we spent one week on a Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan and back. We were all inclusive in the hotel and had 2 large waters in our room every day. The towels and bedding were all superb quality, and the pillows were so very luxurios. Our first room was a garden room in the main part of the hotel and looked out over the first of 3 swimming pools. We had a twin room with plenty of storage and a bathroom with shower etc.The wifi is best in and around the hotel lobby and surroubding areas including the main self service restaurant and the Italian. There is also an Asian and a Fish restaurant down by the beach 2/3 minute walk. You can visit these as oftern as you wish. After our cruise we were given a room in the other part of the hotel over the road. This was a far superior standard, it was a suite with separate bedrooms and a fabulous bathroom with a walk in shower. Slight issue with the air con which was fixed imnediately. These 2 storey blocks were supported by a lovely pool and bar, a pool attendant and security on both gates at all times. This is also where you will find the luxury health spa, the gym and the heated indoor pool. I would certainly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

The lifeguards are really sweet they always help you out bring you some stuff and keep the beach clean. The animators always have a good programm with lots of activitys for everyone. We enjoyed our stay and we will come back again for sure.

I stayed at the Swiss Inn on my own for 11 days at a transit point from South Africa to the UK. In general I thought that the resort was good value for money. I stayed in the extension just across the street in the villas, which was perfect because it was far quieter than the main site. The resort is very much geared towards serving families on all-inclusive packages and, for this, it’s great. My main issues might have arisen because I wasn’t part of a package and was half board. For example, I really struggled to find anything decent for lunch besides the buffet in the main restaurant, drinks were quite expensive (100 EGP for a beer by the pool), and requesting food and drink to be charged to my room was unnecessarily confusing/complicated. Reception staff mostly very good but some appeared inexperienced. For example, not being able to use an empty meeting room for 30 minutes to take a private call because the internet connectivity in my room was unstable irritated me when it was such a small ask. Lax covid protocols made me feel a little uncomfortable. Gym and health club facilities are very good.

We left for Hurgada with our family, two adults and two children to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
We wrote many emails to the reception to make sure we got a room close to the main attractions, swimming pool and restaurants having two children. Precisely for this reason we chose a premium room, upon arrival at the reception we were given a room on the other side of the road secondly, but the most serious thing is that the room did not have two cots for the children, therefore not for 4 but for 3, the double bed and a small one. We returned to the reception and asked for an additional cot, but they told us it wasn't possible. We asked for another room which was offered to us by paying 160 euros more, this one very small, with a broken toilet bowl and other little things, so we went back to ours and informed them that the children would sleep for all 7 nights in one room. we read it reluctantly. We were very sorry about this because in the reservation we paid for two adults and two children. The hotel cannot be defined as 5-star for many things, the main buffet was lacking in many foods, every day the same. There has never been fish, tuna or chips for the children. The positive things about the hotel however are the waitresses of the various restaurants who are always very nice and helpful, the swimming pools which are always spotless, the various restaurants without the need for any reservation, the sea equipped with umbrellas and screens.
Luckily there are slides because there is no entertainment for children, in the evening 20 minutes of baby dance, nothing on the beach, no entertainment for them. Very little entertainment for adults too, no team games, in other villages with the entertainers became friends at the weekend. They are saved because shows come from outside, belly dancer, oriental or Egyptian dance, singer, the entertainment team is never used to taking the children and making them do a little game, or to do simple things about face painting, even on the beach for them nothing. The best restaurant is the one on the beach with barbecue, very nice and kind, the hotel is set in a nice context so there is a lot of peace, ideal for relaxation and tranquility, not the classic where you find music and entertainment in the swimming pool and also at the seaside. I would say that as far as we are concerned there are pros and cons. For us, meeting the customer who has chosen a 5 star structure and has paid for 4 is the minimum, then maybe you bring a cot into the room, anything, but not caring and saying we're sorry we can't do anything is not nice. In the end, with our spirit and our positivity we managed to overcome this too because we had wanted this holiday for a long time, for our family it was equally nice to visit Hurgada and draw the positive aspects from this hotel. We thank all those who work in the hotel gardens to make sure all the greenery is looked after who every day under the sun had a smile, a good morning, the many Waiters who work hard and are really kind.

The hotel is only a 10 mins taxi ride from the airport, which is probably why a number of airlines put their aircrew there - which also indicates it is a reasonably quality as well. There is little noise from the aircraft at the actual hotel.

We were upgraded and had rooms across the road which seemed less cluttered than the rooms around the pool complex in the main hotel. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean and the all the staff were very polite and helpful.

We thought the food in the main Pebbles restaurant would probably be a bit boring if you ate their every night. However, we did try the other restaurants as well - Italian (Good), BBQ near beach (Good), Fish (OK but we are not really fish people so that might colour our rating) and Asiatic (service not particular good ).

We thought it was very strange that wine was served with your meal but once you left the restaurant you had to buy wine at the bar, you couldn't even take a glass out the restaurant. The set menu cocktails (not particularly strong) and beer was free all the time.

Yes, you will get hassled with people trying to sell you massages/trips when you are on a sunbed but that is the way of the world and they are trying to earn a living. Our teenage daughters did have a message (remember to haggle the price down) and they said it was very good.

For any teenagers constantly plugged into their phones, the WiFi did not reach all round the complex so you needed to be near reception to get a good connection.

The hotel is on the main tourist promenade with some interesting sculptures along with the usual very persistent shop keepers . A large "Cleopatra Bizar" shop (part of a chain) is 10 mins walk away which is fixed price and amongst other things, sell silver/gold by weight. Our daughters found it less hassle to do some of their shopping there.

We attach great importance to the quality of the service for our Guests and try to find an individual approach to each Guest so that he can feel our care, warmth, and hospitality. Regarding the wine issue, kindly note that we sent an all-inclusive concept to all travel agents, and for sure, they have to inform all guests who are booking through them, and also we present the all-inclusive formula to all guests upon arrival. To avoid disturbance at the beach or pools, guests can ask for DND signs (red flags) from the recreation team at the pools or beach. Hello. Thank you for choosing our hotel for your upcoming holiday. Please note that all rooms at our resort are renovated and free WI-FI is available throughout the hotel 24 hours a day. Carrefour is ten minutes from our resort. On our promenade there are many shops where you can find luggage of different sizes.
