Rooms are decrepit and run down but the bed sheets are clean, and the shared spaces and the whole atmosphere is very laid back, relaxed and friendly. Go there if you look for something simple in the heart of Dahab and on the sea front.

Through two years and I have, I have been to this very camp 17 times and I'm revisiting it Inchallah on October even if I have been relocated to Germany now. This place is one of kind. It will never reinvented or existed somewhere else. It's original and simple, the way it is. Go and visit it, you definitely will... More

Summary: It's like camping with friends on the beach except with clean comfortable bed and full bathroom. Location: Listen to the sound of the sea in your bed. Walk right in for a swim or walk less than a min to lighthouse (main entrance to swim) Facilities: Beautifully designed. If I were to see a picture of this place in... More

I don't stay at any camps or hotels in Dahab because I have family living locally. However, I frequent Sinbad Camp for breakfast as it is the best in town. Hasan's, Musa's breakfast is the one to ask for. Costs 20 Egyptian pounds and will keep you going all day. Highly recommend. Apparently the coffee is good here too, but... More

Super location, quiet , deserted however only a minute away from the strip. Friendly staff, basic but clean and comfortable rooms. Good restaurant and very good coffee. The camp is very comfortable with hammocks, a chill out area, great views of the red sea. I came as solo traveler and had a wonderful time. Looking forward to coming back with... More

Dahab, Egypt is fine and safe for travel, I really hope more people returned there! Rooms are fine and I had very nice sllep on the bed. If I... More

I love, Sindbad, immaculately clean with sand swept outside in the garden daily. The staff are more like a loving family. The food is simple but delicious ,often a home - cooked soup with egyptan bread or hummus and vegetables ,but a full menu available . The smaller sea view rooms in the garden area in front of the hammocks... More

I came with a large group of people for the feast vacation. We were 13 in total. At first i felt the rooms were quite underwhelming until i discovered that each and every room in that camp is a different experience . Not one room is like the other. They all have unique little touches and the owner will be... More

We stayed at Sinbad camp for one week and found the place to be clean and basic but pleasant. Alon and his staff were friendly and helpful. They gave us great tips about where to eat and snorkel. We left before we intended because of another guest at the camp. A rough looking, tall, bald man from the UK made... More
