Absolutely excellent place. Huge spacious room. The bed was huge - you could starfish and still not reach your partner. Very clean and neat. Lovely court yard to sit around and enjoy the weather. Nice continental breakfast. Very very affordable and much exceeded our expectations especially considering the price. Wifi is ok - it is poor all over Galapagos but enough to check emails and send some pics. You shouldn't be working while on holidays anyway :) The lady that was looking after us was amazing. Very accommodating and helpful and kind. Excellent service. Location is great. 5 min easy walk to the main street of the town, about 40min to the famous Tortuga beach. If we could come again to Galapagos we would stay here for sure.

We had the most amazing stay! We were greeted with such kindness and it lasted throughout our whole stay. Fernando, our host, and Jose, the receptionist were so helpful! The breakfasts are amazing, the rooms are clean and spacious and lovely. The location is great - a five minute walk to town. We booked all of our activities ahead of time, and Fernando had all our rides lined up, and made sure that we had breakfast in time each morning before our departure. He had suggestions for where to get dinner, and which were the best stores to shop in. All in all, we loved our stay. I can not recommend this hotel highly enough.

A great boutique hotel with amazing service. The owner, Soni and Jose the receptionist went over and above to accomodate our needs. The rooms were very clean. Deco was updated. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast is made fresh as and when you arrive. They asked us what you want to eat and had it ready at the specific time. Hotel is 5 min walk to where all the action is.

Sonia and Miguel were such kind and thoughtful hosts to us! We stayed in the two-bedroom family suite, which was very clean and spacious. Sonia brought us juice and coffee, and she and Miguel prepared a lovely breakfast (coffee, toast, eggs, juice, etc.) for us each morning. The location is also very convenient; we easily walked to the Darwin Research Center, restaurants, the docks, and more. I highly recommend Hotel Palace Galapagos if you are looking for an affordable, clean, and comfortable place to stay in Puerto Ayora.

We stayed here during our vacation and were greeted with such warmth and friendliness from the very start. This is a family owned hotel/business and the fact that they put their heart and soul into making it a welcoming place to stay, really comes through. It happened to be my birthday during this time and they even went above and beyond with a "personalized drinking mug", a heart shaped decoration and some chocolates along with a lovely note. Breakfast is also included and is eaten next door in a very posh space. First class service and experience all the way! Highly Recommend.

We stayed at this property twice (2 nights and then 3 nights) while in the Galapagos and were not disappointed. The location is about 7 minutes from the main drag and in a fairly quiet, mostly residential area. Both Sonia and Hector are the most accommodating hosts you'll find anywhere and will do almost anything to make your stay enjoyable. We needed to leave some laundry items behind on our first stay as we were taking an 8 day cruise... no problem. We needed beach towels... no problem. We need a taxi to the Baltra Airport... no problem. We asked for a different room... no problem. Wine opener... no problem. The hotel has a small restaurant for breakfast only and they were willing to accomodate us when we needed an early breakfast. Overall, this is a great place to stay in Puerto Ayora and you won't be disappointed..

We chose a land-based tour of the Galápagos and stayed at the Hotel Palace for eight nights. It was the PERFECT CHOICE for us! Location: a short walk from the busiest part of town, in a quiet neighborhood (except for dogs, cats, and the occasional rooster). The Palace is a small hotel that feels more like a family home. The rooms are modest and sparkling clean and have everything needed, including comfortable beds and excellent air-conditioning. A hot cooked breakfast is served in the elegant dining room, with fresh fruit and freshly made fruit juice every morning. Hotel owners Narsi and Nando planned our itinerary, a combination of land- and sea-based activities, and each day seemed better than the one before. Sonia and Miguel took care of our everyday requests, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Land-based visits are much more economical than cruises. We can't wait to go back and discover more of this amazing and enchanting part of the world--and we will definitely stay at Hotel Palace again!

This hotel is fairly new (just 6 years old), and has nice updated furnishings/fixtures, including a rainfall shower. We did not see an elevator, and the front desk person carried up our luggage, so I’m guessing there is not one. The hotel is about 5 blocks from the ocean, and in a less touristy area. But, there is still a hamburger place and a few shops around. The little convenience store next door is very handy for any forgotten/needed essentials. Our room had a small balcony and I believe that all of the rooms do. So, it was fun to sit out there each night to wind down. We also had some very good working AC, which is critical in the afternoons there! The staff at the hotel was also outstanding. Amy, Miguel, and Sonya went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable and taken care of. We really appreciated them. The biggest plus of the hotel was the breakfast. They serve you a full sit down meal with multiple served/plated courses. And, this is included in the stay. It seemed pretty fancy, and was a fun way to start each day. The only negatives that I have are that we were advised that transportation to the ferry (going to the airport) was included with the stay. However, the desk clerk advised that they just call a taxi for you. So be aware that transportation is not included. If you are wondering- a cab ride is about $25. Also, the outside noise (rooster crowing in the AM) is not shut out by closing the windows. But, it is in a fairly quiet area
