My family (husband, teenage son, and myself) stayed two nights at the Hotel Cucuve after our cruise through the islands. It was the perfect place for unwinding - a truly comfortable respite after the fabulous busy-ness of the cruise. Our room was perfect for us, with comfortable beds and a wonderful hot shower; breakfast was fabulous - oh my goodness the oatmeal (I ate like 3 bowls each morning)!!, and the service was friendly and helpful. Oh, and the location was awesome - only a block down from the water, near the fish market which was so fun to watch with the sea lions and seagulls vying for fish, and an easy walk to restaurants and shops. I very highly recommend Hotel Cucuve!
We stayed here for 3 nights after our Galapagos cruise, based on TA reviews. We are so glad we chose Cucuve. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated and our room (101) was spacious and comfortable. It was quiet and the king size bed was quite comfortable. My husband commented several times about how comfortable the bed was. They think of everything for the room. The whole hotel is light and bright. We liked that the hotel was close to everything but slightly off the main street (Charles Darwin) which we thought made it quieter. We had them do our laundry and it was back very quickly and was not expensive. Ana and staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was always good and we had a number of choices each day. The coffee was great. We had them arrange airport transport for us both ways, just to make it easier for us, and we were very pleased. We highly recommend Cucuve Hotel.…
Our best hotel stay in the Galápagos. Clean and friendly staff. Thoughtful reception staff. Made to order eggs for breakfast. Spacious and clean room next to the kitchen. Free coffee and tea 24 hours. Great location near the water. Good pizza options right across the street. Laundry right across the street. Definitely recommend!!
Tucked away 1 block off the lively Main Street in Puerto Ayora, this is a lovely gem. Very clean, nicely appointed, comfortable beds and showers, great breakfast (eggs, blintzes, muesli, Galapagos coffee, fresh juice). Anna the manager is fantastic, with great restaurant recommendations and arrangements for tours. For three gay men, it was a superb place!
Me and partner booked Hotel Cucuve for our 5 day trip to the Galapagos and it exceeded our expectations! We were worried becuase we have heard how run down and smelly can be the hotels in Puerto Ayora, so we decided to book Cucuve since we read the reviews about how well kept it was, and we nailed it! The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are very spacious, extremely clean and they looked new. However, the best part of our stay was the service. Ana and Shania at the frond desk are just incredible, they are willing to help with anything you need. Christian was the chef those days and I can tell that breakfast was delicious, you need to eat a lot for all the activities that are waiting for you. If I ever go back to the Galapagos, I would definetly stay here agin. Thank you guys for everything!…
Hotel was excellent and in a great position .. walking through the front door we were surprised at how large the hotel was .. breakfast was good and there is always coffee and biscuits available in the hotel with a water machine to top up ur bottles .. it has a connection to a fab restaurant in the town where we ate and would recommend .. we left early to catch a ferry and there was a packed breakfast in the fridge waiting for us .. thank you for a fab stay
When we checked Shania was very helpful. She explained how everything worked. She set us up with a travel agent for a tour. Anna also was very helpful with your plans and restaurant recommendations. Cucuve is super clean. The breakfasts are wonderful. Fresh juices, fresh fruits, and a variety of hot breakfasts. The rooms are very comfortable.
took a trip with girlfriends. the hotel was like having your own house they have a breakfast area that they keep out snacks coffee tea filtered water all day rooms were great with robes and slippers fresh water and nuts in your room each day service was fantastic, they actually had to call a dentist for my friend they were very helpful there is also a private waterfront area about 2 blocks from hotel where you can relax and get drinks, charge your phone and chill right on the water had a wonderful time would defiantly recommend this hotel
Looved staying at the Cucuve. The room was amazing: spacious, very clean, great bed - we slept so well! The ocean view from the terrace was breathtaking. Special thanks to Ana for making our stay even more perfect. Would definitely go back and recommend !
The hotel is clean and well located, just a few steps out of the main street with restaurants and shops close by. The staff was super nice and helpful, taking care of all details. They put me in contact with a tour operator, it turned to be great advice. Very good breakfast. Overall a great experience. Thank you!
