Great place, quiet and comfortable. Very warm and welcoming staff and owner. They speak English and Russian. Each day we got served different freshly squeezed juices from fruit trees growing on the property. Ten minute walk to city center, shopping and restaurants.

So this hotel was among two others that I had to pick when I booked my package for the Galapagos. I can say that I made the best decision when I chose this place, from the moment I got there we were greeted by the owner Raquel with some amazing tasting juice, she took us to our rooms and gave us a breakdown of the town, she was available to answer questions all the time, she even brought me cold water to my room since I was such a diva and had mentioned that I was going to the store to get cold water. Truly went above and beyond any hotel owner I’ve seen, the rooms were great, all and all I have 0 complaints. Would definitely stay here again if I came back.

My husband and I stayed in the Puerto Ayora hotel. Our room was spacious, clean and had an encompassing view of the island. The property has a delightful court yard and is located in a neighborhood but not far from major streets. Our host Raquel and her staff were amazingly helpful to us and catered to some pretty specific requests. She treated us like family and made sure we had everything we needed.

Such an enchanting gem!! The wonderful owner and everyone who works here goes above and beyond to make sure that all guests are happy. Whether it’s bringing out an extra hammock, having a surprise snack of fresh fruit, or indulging in some lemongrass infused water, the owner and staff ensure that you can’t help but RELAX when you’re here. The beds were large and comfortable, the showers nice and warm, and each room has its own AC unit. I’m allergic to gluten (as were a few other people that I was traveling with), and they made us all the MOST DELICIOUS gluten-free breakfast. After having her yucca and cheese breakfast, no other food that I got on the island compared. I look forward to coming back to this beautifully designed, very clean, and extremely comfortable space! I stayed here 4 nights and it was really great. Breakfast every morning is fresh and hot and delicious. One of our tours left early and they made sure that we still had a hot breakfast before we left. Beds were comfortable and rooms are clean. There is hot water for the shower, it can take some time to start, but it will and it is just what you need coming back from a tour. AC worked and had pretty good wifi in the room. Enough to text, send pictures, and look up stuff on the internet. It was as strong as any other part on the island. Would definitely recommend people to stay here.

We are definitely coming back, the owners treat you like a family member and want to make sure you have an awesome experience. Los jugos por la mañana pueden ser del árbol frutal de ahí mismo y los desayunos son exquisitos y cuidadosamente preparados para los huéspedes.

This extraordinary hotel offers clean, peaceful and beautiful rooms with views. I stayed 5 nights because I loved it so much. The owner Raquel gives extra attention to detail and wonderful service. You can get snorkeling equipment for free and delicious daily fresh breakfast, one of my favorite was the fresh juices, all included. Two minutes away from the main pier where you can rent bicycles, dine and book tours. All the staff was extra nice, making you really feel like you are enjoying your vacation. I highly recommend Isla Azul for your stay in Santa Cruz!!

We stayed here for one night after we have returned from Isabela. It was a very pleasant stay and Rachel did her best to feel great. She even let us to choose our room. The breakfast was great and she arranged to have breakfast at 6.30 am since we were leaving to the airport early. Breakfast consists of fruits, juice, eggs cooked as you like, croissants, butter and jam. We even left our luggage for 5 nights there before leaving to Isabela. I have to thank Rachel for her efforts to make us feel at home.

Fabulous comfortable eco-hotel. Rachel the owner/operator has been in charge of the National Park here in the past. Knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. Greeted us with coffee from organic local company. Coffee and breakfast included were excellent. This location feels good to be in, it has great energy. Price is excellent for the accommodations provided. Godd shower!. Our room was on the ground floor. No noise problems at all. AC/Heat worked as did WiFi and TVs. She even helped us get our laundry done at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Isla Azul is a wonderful place to stay while on Santa Cruz Island! The rooms are wonderful, and the breakfast is absolutely outstanding. The best part of this already amazing hotel was definitely Raquel. She is so kind, and her hospitality really put the cherry on top of an amazing experience. She truly made us feel at home. I cannot say enough nice things about her! I would highly recommend staying at Isla Azul. Our experience could not have been any better!
