BEWARE, DO NOT STAY HERE !!!! - Concrete drilling contruction underway, CRAZY NOISY! Can't hear yourself think let alone anyone you're trying to speak to at reception. Scratch off 'relaxing' from your to-do list right away. - No hot water! I was told to wait 20 mins for the hot water to start running. Did just that, no dice. Stay here if you love your cold showers. - No refund policy. For the reasons above I will be transferring myself elsewhere, and these crooks will keep almost $200 of my money. - At most one staff member speaks any English and works at the restaurant next door, not the hotel, so she can't directly help you with your reservation or room etc. Consider yourself SOL if you have any issues and don't speak Spanish. Also their reception is open, what? 8am - 6pm and otherwise good luck finding someone who works here. I get this isn't a posh 5-star hotel but for $75/night I expected much better. The bathroom doesn't even have any amenities like soap, shampoo or toothpaste, but I'll chalk that up to the islands'conservation efforts. Overall an incredibly disappointing experience, don't know how they have a high rating. One star for no cockroaches or having anything stolen (yet!). Do not recommend. -…
I stayed here in the off season and had a great stay. The room was comfortable, quiet and roomier than I expected, with nice hot water and free WiFi. Great service from the very friendly staff. The included breakfast in the attached cafe/restaurant was also really good! I’d recommend this hotel.
The location of this hotel is really good. It is located near many tourist attraction. What I love the most about this hotel is the space. The room is so spacious and great service. They offer great breakfast as well! I do enjoy my time there and definitely would love to go back one day. I would recommend it to everyone.
Nothing good but location. Right in the middle of the city center. My room door is on the street directly, with see-through curtains, and dated furnitures. No amenities, no in-room safe, no fridge. Toiletries are only a hand wash soap that's supposed to work for all needs. The breakfast at the restaurant was basic but enough. So, considering Galapagos hotels standards, you get what you pay for; the location.
We had a great stay at Galapagos Native. The room was spacious and very clean with great A/C. It did not have a safe though, even though the photos show one present. The owner was very nice and helpful with anything we needed. Also had a great laundry facility on site. It is quite noisy at night, given the location of the hotel and the nightlife around it. It was not an issue for my husband and I though. Just make sure to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper; if not it should not hinder your sleep. Overall we were very happy with the location and room! Thank you for a great stay!
More like a hostel setting than a hotel ., super noisy on street, had to move rooms and zero amenities. I would say 2 star, nothing bad just not anything good, except the super nice restaurant staff..
The room is great. Plenty of space, very comfortable, great bathroom/shower, the continental breakfast is great in the attached restaurant. For what you are paying you are way ahead as far as I am concerned with one thing, the staff... Now the lady that works during the day (totally blanking on her name) is great. She is super helpful and nice. Once she goes tho, good luck. Don't ask for any suggestions or any help on anything because you won't get it, and that is when you can get in as the night restaurant staff and the hotel staff argue on stuff daily. It is so strange that the woman during the day is amazing and after that, flip side. Past that, there is no night staff so if you better bring an alarm clock cuz you will not get a wake up call.
This place is quite nice. The rooms are fine and clean. The location is super. However, the street lights are quite strong, hence unfortunately the room is not dark enough for me personally, and a bit loud as well on the street. Galapagos in general it’s quite expansive. However, what you get at Galapagos native is a good price ratio performance. What I liked most personally is sustained offers at the B&B. Even though everything was nice and the staff was very friendly, after staying in the Coloma, I have to say, my personal preference would be the Coloma.
For the price we expected the place to be a little nicer, but of course everything is more expensive in the Galapagos. The cleaning staff was good in our room and the air conditioning worked well. It was so loud outside on the street, as other reviewers have said. We were more upset about people in the lobby late at night yelling and having loud conversations in the hallways at all hours. The staff definitely didn't regulate noise levels or seem to care about them. The lack of wifi in rooms was a bummer, and the lobby wasn't the most inviting place to hang out and use it. The girls working at breakfast were very helpful and friendly, which we appreciated.
The best service and help to the tourist! They were very friendly with me! The location is very good near to the sea and other tourist places! Breakfast was fantastic and the services excellent! I recommend it :)
